Toyoko Inn Tokyo Uguisudani Ekimae Reviews

Very unpleasant service from the Vietnamese receptionist when check-in. She didn’t clearly give explanation of room cleaning just only keep telling no cleaning for the entire 4 nights stayed until I really insisted that it should be once at least then she offered. In comparison to my first night at Toyoko inn Osaka, the service totally different as they are not serving at the same standard. Location wise, it’s very inconvenient to get around.

Good area

The transportation limit is only the JR station, and there are many restaurants nearby at night. Overall, it is cost-effective at this price. 

The front desk doesn't speak Chinese and doesn't know much English. The window is blocked by the hotel's signboard. There are food and convenience stores nearby. The subway station is about 400 meters away. It's not bad, but the front desk needs training. It's not professional enough and it won't work. Talk less and just talk about the key points. It's really unnecessary to talk about irrelevant things when you know that the guests don't understand Japanese. It seems a bit intentional.

Chain hotel clean, not many breakfast varieties but delicious

Hotel room is clean. Location is 1-4mins away from bus and train stations which is very convenient. The hotel is also walking distance to Ueno Park which I love the most. There are also restaurants near the hotel that you can try. There are 2 convenience stores to choose from. Plus you have free breakfast. ☺️

Good location, train-station nearby. Ueno and Asakusa on walking distance and friendly and helpful staff. This is not a fancy hotel, breakfast was served in the lobby and there is no smoking-lounge. Room was only cleaned once during my stay of 6 nights, but everyday you will recieve fresh towels.

Free n simple breakfast, nice staff n able to communicate with my poor Japanese and english. Clean room, wifi and ac good. The only thing is nearby have hell tons of love hotel, not sure is it a good spot for family trip, but definitely good enough for solo traveler like me.

Close to JR Train station & Keisei line. But Wifi is too slow.

Although I checked in late at night, the female staff at the front desk was very helpful. The room wasn't particularly large, but it was well-cleaned. The breakfast was also delicious, and I'd like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
