The location is very close to metro station and behind is the shopping area. The staff.are helpful.

Very unpleasant service from the Vietnamese receptionist when check-in. She didn’t clearly give explanation of room cleaning just only keep telling no cleaning for the entire 4 nights stayed until I really insisted that it should be once at least then she offered. In comparison to my first night at Toyoko inn Osaka, the service totally different as they are not serving at the same standard. Location wise, it’s very inconvenient to get around.

Good area

The room is the same as in the guide, barely enough to open a suitcase. The service is very good. They can also help store your luggage after checking out, as long as you can take it away on the same day, saving you money to store it in a locker. The transportation is also very convenient near Uguisudani Station, and it is very convenient to check in at various attractions

A decent hotel, relatively centrally located, one stop from Ueno Station, about ten minutes' walk, quite convenient for travel. An unexpected bonus is that there is a business supermarket next to it, although it is not duty-free, the goods are relatively cheap

The hotel is well located, you can walk to Ueno station. The metro is practically around the corner. Supermarkets and Don Quixote are nearby. The reception staff is politely cold, the women at breakfast are much friendlier, as it seemed. The room is very cramped, you have to squeeze through the bed. The photos on Trip.com do not correspond to reality. The rooms are completely different, as well as their contents. The kettle is tiny, stubby, with a strange smell, which makes the water taste unpleasant. Why not equip the rooms with normal kettles, like in other hotels of this chain? Instead of a mug - a plastic cup, the same as in the bathroom. No hand soap. I had to wash my hands with shower gel, which ran out on the 3rd day of my stay and which was never replenished during cleaning. By the way, the cleaning was very thorough, I accidentally caught it. Why there is no soap in the room, I still do not understand. I asked at the reception, they gave me their own)).

The room seemed smaller than other Toyoko Inns, and it was indeed cramped. It didn't matter if I just came back to sleep. The breakfast was very good. The luggage storage and other services were also in place.

I traveled to Tokyo and Northeast China and passed through many cities. I chose Shin Toyoko Inn. It is close to the station, which saves time and is convenient. The Uguisudani store is quiet and nearby, with many affordable restaurants. Except for the small space in the room, where you need to spread your luggage on the bed, the rest of the services, breakfast, check-in and check-out are simple. I will choose Shin Toyoko Inn again next time in Japan. No objection.
