Stayed with wife and 2 daughters in jan 2020 . It was a budget decision ,so we chose one room . Room is absolutely small , but hey that was the whole fun . Ugisudani station is just 200 mtr walk and on yamanote green line so connects tokyo like a cakewalk . Staff at lobby is nice ( some are from nepal) . No english issue ! . Lot of eatries around . 7/11 and lawson stores .. just 50 mtrs walk . WE read reviews about noise etc from street , but we did not feel anything as such .neighbourhood is good ..inspite of some love hotels in vicinity , it was absolutely dignified and safe at any hour . Tokyo is an experience ...

Spacious walk from Nikkori Station. New hotel, room is placed in a small location with high density. Overall new and clean. The room is not large, but the fixtures can be stored compactly and do not feel narrow. I saw the sky tree outside the window (according to the room). The sound insulation of the window and the light shielding curtain are perfect. It is suitable for people who want to sleep even if it is bright. You can hear the sound of the corridor. The bath is an artificial hot spring. There is no bathtub in the accommodation room. Breakfast is devised with a Tokyo-like menu. There is only one elevator in the annex and attention to congestion. Stairs are not available.

　I was looking for a hotel that can be checked in from 12 o'clock and used the early check-in plan of this hotel. I went to kasudani on the Yamate line from Tokyo Station, but as of September 2019, there was no elevator kasudani escalator from the platform of kasudani station to the north exit, so I decided to carry my luggage on the stairs. If you can't carry heavy luggage on the stairs, you may also be able to go out far from the south exit. The hotel was located across the love hotel town, close to the station and easy to understand. The room is clean and there are all the things you need. There was no noise, especially, and I was able to spend it normally. The door was not a hotel lock, so I felt a little unreliable at first, but there was no problem, and there was no danger. Dinner is a lot of good restaurants around the station and it seems that you can take out of the room. The menu before the meal seemed cheap and delicious and had a more green impression (I didn't use it). Only one point, I applied for a breakfast plan 2 nights before my stay and paid at the time of my stay, but in fact, I found that the breakfast of the second night was not taken due to the time, and I asked if I could ask for a refund. But it is impossible. Breakfast can be added if you pay the price, so if you apply for breakfast without breakfast and pay the hotel fee, if you need breakfast, you should apply for breakfast and pay for it I regret that I should have I think breakfast was about 300 yen, but it was cheap and very delicious. If it is cheap and there is an early check-in plan near the station, I think it is suitable here.

Lots to like about this hotel. Very warm and friendly staff, room clean and very cosy vibe, good aircon/heating, convenient laundry room (I got a big load washed and dried in under an hour, which was incredibly handy), and a good location if you're interested in exploring the ****amachi areas of Tokyo like nearby Yanaka. Also has an amazing view from the roof terrace, which you mustn't miss (just wish they'd advertise its opening hours, because I rushed out of bed to catch the sunrise around 6.30am only to find the terrace door locked shut, which was a real downer!). Could occasionally hear some noise from other guests through the walls, but wasn't a big problem. Definitely recommend.

I picked this hotel purely because of the location and the price. Right next to the Nippori station. You'll have to find the right door and go to 3rd floor by elevator to reach the reception. Staff was nice and tried their best to communicate, even though their English was not good. I got to leave my luggage there supervised for a couple of hours, as I arrived before I could get to my room. I got a smoking room (I don't smoke inside but didn't have a choice about the room when booking via a third party) and the smell was horrible, but I knew beforehand that would be the case, and fortunately there was fabric freshening spray which really helped. I didn't expect best quality when I didn't pay a whole lot, and I think I got what I paid for. A safe, clean place to rest between exploring the city. The room had basic cleanliness, but clearly everything was somewhat old and a bit worn out. There were nice restaurants near this hotel, and the Yanaka Ginza street, old cemetary and Fabric town are just a couple of steps away. The best thing about this hotel is the location next to the station. The Yamanote line stops in Nippori and takes you for example to Ueno, Tokyo station, Shibuya and Harajuku quickly. Unfortunately the best thing about the hotel was also the worst. My room's window was facing the station (no view whatsoever, just a grey wall) and I could clearly hear all the noises. The trains don't bother me one bit, but all the other noise, such as announcements, jingles (yes... the trains have jingles) and warning tones were super loud and disruptive. It went on until 12 at night and started again at 5 am. I had ear plugs with me but didn't sleep too well with them, because I usually don't wear them at night. But to be able to get some sleep they were absolutely necessary. So bring them if you're staying in this hotel and I really mean it. Overall, not a stylish place, but functional. Wouldn't stay here again though, because of the station being so loud.

The best experience ever! The perfect start to a trip to Tokyo! The facilities are complete, there is a public lounge where you can drink tea and chat, the sanitation is very clean, and there is a faint fragrance. The environment is very quiet, and the area and streets are very Japanese anime and movie. Nearby is Nippori Station. The transportation is very convenient. There are also many delicious foods nearby. You must go to the bakery. Gaga is delicious. The service of the hotel is very good. The owner is very nice. It can be said that he really feels at home. ６ I stayed with a month old child. The location is very good near Iriya Station. I put a baby bed in the double room and entered the room with a baby car, but I was able to spend it without being cramped. I was able to prepare a trash can for diaper in advance, and I was able to get additional diaper because I could reduce my luggage. The charger was also installed in the room, and it was good that there were many compatible models with Android and iPhone. The breakfast was delicious, but the venue was a little small, so it was a little painful to enter the store with a child in a hugging string.

Panda themed hotel in a very convenient location in Ueno. It is just a few minutes away by foot to the subway lines, and it is a great place as your final hotel in Japan since the Keisei Ueno station (Skyliner to Narita) is nearby as well. Check-in was easy using a self-service kiosk with the guidance of staff. We were also given a panda themed tote bag which contained stickers and two file folders. In the hallway leading to the hotel rooms there were also edits of famous art pieces with pandas, and in the room, panda sheets, cushions and a huge plush. The hotel was refurbished just a few months back so everything was spotless. Would stay here again.

This time I stayed at the Lotte Residences Asakusa in Tokyo. I loved it because of the panda room (hahaha). What shocked me was that when I got up on the first morning, I found that there was a temple in my room (right next to it?) , there are actually (one after another tombstones) inside. Although I said ”I'm not afraid! It's a lie”, it was still a quite interesting experience! Because in Taiwan, there is no such custom of ”getting along day and night” with the tombstones~

The B&Bs are all close to the station. There is a drug store as soon as you exit the station. There is a large supermarket 10 minutes away from the B&B. It is open until 12:00 at night. The entrance of the B&B is the same as that of the house. There are There are 2 rooms, one with 2 beds and the other with a bed. There is a TV and sofa in the middle. There is a large dining table in the living room. There are refrigerators, microwaves and cooking stoves. The only thing is that you have to clean the underground floor by yourself. I was surprised that there was no one to take care of the room. If you want to take care of the room, you have to pay extra per day. The bathroom and toilet are separate for everyone to use. It just so happens that I live in the fourth floor and there is only one room for us, so we don't make any noise. , but you have to check in yourself when you check in, and leave a message at the elevator if you have anything to do, so if you want to live in a spacious place, you can consider checking in. The air conditioner is cooler than a hotel🤗🤗

The Barn is certainly a hidden gem in a quiet Tokyo neighbourhood, new and modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Staff were so welcoming and the benefit for us was only a five minute walk to the train station with suitcases. We were recommended to visit Euno Park just a 20 minute walk away and enjoyed wandering the gardens and zoo, also several museums in the Park. A meal at nearby Sapporo restaurant is highly recommended - very traditional local cuisine cooked on hot plate at your table by the friendly owner. The Barns location is great!
