When I first set foot in DAP Hostel in Turpan, it was with the intention of a two-night stay. Fast forward two weeks later, I was still there, completely captivated by its charm and the unforgettable people I met. Named after a traditional Xinjiang instrument, this hostel doesn’t just offer beds; it provides experiences. The design is impeccable, and it’s clear there’s a deep respect for detail and the environment. But the real magic? It’s in the people. The hostel owner, the volunteers, and every fellow traveler I encountered - they transformed my trip. From acquaintances to close friends in such a short span, it was incredible. Their open-mindedness, their stories, and the warmth they exuded were infectious. I’m thrilled to say that many of those I met at the DAP Hostel are now close friends. The anticipation of reuniting with them is immense. If you ever find yourself in Turpan, and you crave genuine connections, DAP Hostel is the place. It’s more than accommodation; it’s a family waiting to be discovered.

Easily one of the top two or three guesthouse experiences I’ve had traveling China over the past decade. While it’s certainly on the higher end of the price spectrum, you definitely get what you pay for and more. The level of detail is immaculate: given how hot and dry Turpan is, they give you as much bottled water you need & leave hydrating facial masks in your room every day. Also, shoutout to the beds—one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in China—and Japanese toilet. The facilitates and service touches are on par with the best luxury hotel brands which probably go for twice the price or more. But ultimately the people and location are what make this place special. Everyone from the owner to the cleaning staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I ran into the owner at a restaurant and he bought me dinner and introduced me to some local dishes I would have never known to order. The location is 🍇 valley. It’s a quaint little grape producing village with friendly locals and amazing fruit. All in all, Bafeng Retreat is a special place that is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and take life slowly. Highly recommended.

The design, decoration, soft furnishings, supplies, services, catering facilities, etc. are all great! A well-deserved high-end B&B. Mnarg is the most high-end hotel in Suzhu. The other hotels also have their own characteristics and the prices are relatively lower. The room is large, and it doesn't matter if you bring suitcases. Separate wet and dry bathrooms. Dyson's hair dryer is the best in hair volume and can dry your hair quickly. There is a large bathing pool in the room, but unfortunately the water gate was closed and the bathing was not completed. At night, the hotel gave you various fruit yogurts, which were ice cold and cool. The breakfast is very rich. The local clear noodle soup is slightly sour and spicy and very appetizing. The chicken soup is delicious. I add fruit pieces and raisins to the yogurt. It is delicious and fun. At first, the kids chose it because they saw it in Running Man, and there was an outdoor swimming pool. It was very cool to soak in the swimming pool on a hot night! Staying with parents and children received the highest score for accommodation during this trip! If I have the chance to go back to Turpan, I would like to stay here again!

After playing in Xinjiang for a month, the last stop was Turpan. Originally, I didn't want to stay in this city more for a moment, it was so hot it was about to explode. Occasionally, someone in the comment area said that Putaogou was good, and there happened to be a room, so I took the youngest from the city. Unexpectedly, it completely subverted my view of Turpan, it is simply an oasis in the desert! This homestay is my best experience in Xinjiang! The boss is really working hard. Different from previous homestays, first of all, the bath water is very large, hot and abundant. Unlike other homestays, where a water heater is installed in the room, washing one hair is not enough, and the next person has to wait for half an hour. Secondly, the air conditioner is very powerful. It has long been known that the temperature in Turpan is not comparable to the high temperature of an ordinary city. If the air conditioner doesn't work well, or the card needs to be plugged in to get electricity, how can this make people live? Third, the sanitary conditions are also very good. Every time I stay in a homestay, I am worried about not changing the sheets and duvet covers at all. This house watched the waiters change it, including the drying in the backyard. The location is also excellent, just in the second scenic spot of Putaogou, the grape rack is in front of the room, and the snow mountain canal is to the north. The boss also arranged a car to pick up and drop off. After entering the door, we will give us a pot of freshly picked grapes to eat before we check in. The level of the restaurant chef is also quite good, definitely not the level of the farmer's cooking that is just fooled by the family. In the evening, take a walk on the trail outside to see the grape drying room. It is very cool and doesn't sweat at all. I originally thought that I would never come to Turpan again in my life, because with this homestay, I think I must come again if I have a chance. I've never been to Turpan, how can I say that I played Quanjiang?

The boss is very enthusiastic, the service is also thoughtful, and the cats are very cute. The cats are named Prince and Xiao Heihei. The grapes in the yard are picked and eaten casually. The hotel is far from the city. At the entrance of Kaner Jingyuan Scenic Area, you can visit Kaner Jingyuan for free. Turpan is really hot, and it is hot in the morning and evening. The inn is very photogenic, the swimming pool is distinctive, and breakfast with ethnic characteristics is also provided. The room is relatively small, it should not exceed 20 square meters, our room toilet is bad, the sound of water rang all night. The air conditioner was uncomfortable to blow on the face, and the air conditioner was too hot. In the middle of the night, someone was playing in the swimming pool and the sound was very loud.

The windows have screens to open at ease. Miss sister sent two check-in gifts, because it is not convenient to bring pets to eat, basic meals takeaway, help me send several times, blame sorry drop, remind me of the sunset and play time, is a very nice service experience. The room hygiene is also very good, and the texture of disposable items is also good. The bathtub has a disposable bath bag, and the two people have no pressure. The smart toilet also has a disposable toilet pad and a footstool. The toiletries are Herborist. The air conditioning heating is very powerful, and the desert is still very cold at night. Finally, let's talk about pet-friendly, the hotel has a Mitsubishi cat, there are cute little milk cats. After communicating with the boss in advance, I brought it into the room. I brought my own pet mat, basin water bowl, urine pad. The dog is very good and has no anxiety, the desert is beautiful, and it is the correct way to open the perfect trip!
