The hotel is beautiful it’s central and well located. It’s very clean. It’s an amazing experience to stay in a cave. The breakfast is outstanding, Ibrahim made our day start in a wonderful way every day. Service is outstanding as everyone is pleasant, friendly and helpful specially Arda who is professional and works hard to make sure the guests are happy and Ibrahim who does the same 👍🏻. There are beautiful terraces, where to spend your mornings or nights looking at the beautiful Cappadocia. I would definitely recommend this hotel the only thing I would improve is that in a room which was 605 there was no door between the bedroom in the bathroom so you had no privacy and also at night if you turn on the light, it would just shine on the face of the other person that was sleeping, so that would be better. It also has a little bit warm but they do provide a fan that makes it much better but it’s facing the sun is hitting on it for the whole morning and the rooms to heat up other than that I would say it’s an absolute gem.

We spent time in this winter garden area in this hotel we were in the same way as my wife. Within a few hours of good time, the barman Joseph accompanied us with his presentation with a pleasant cocktail and a laughterful home, and the hotel also admired us. We will come back to stay, we thank Mr. Joseph for everything, a very kind and skillful barman.

The hotel is quite new and clean, but the price of the 768 is not worth it. It was originally recommended to say that it is a real cave to live here. The result is just an ordinary room, disappointing. There is no WiFi in the room at all, saying that there is outside, I have not connected all the way. The room is really good, but the location is located 10 km from Goreme. In the morning, I took a taxi to see the hot air balloon and spent 50 lire. I don’t think it’s worth it to stay here. It’s not really a cave.

We are a family of 4, my husband and I with our 2 kids. We stayed at the Cappadocia old house. Such a relaxing cozy and hospitable environment. We were welcomed by the owner/manager after a morning flight and long morning without any food. They immediately showed us our room and had already began preparing a breakfast table for us. The room was clean and spacious enough for us. Each of us had a bed to sleep on. By the time we just placed our luggage in the room and came down to the garden the food was ready! It was a delicious Turkish breakfast spread. The staff are so hospitable and welcoming and really maintained the relaxing ambiance in the hotel. The owner made us feel so comfortable by showing my kids his kittens and the pet turtles he had in the garden! They were able to pet and carry the animals as much as they wanted. He also asked us about our day plans and helped us get around and make reservations for different excursions in the city. We Highly recommend this location. Very safe area. It was definitely worth every penny and hope to be back soon!

If you're expecting a fancy 5-star with room service, spa, multiple restaurants and all the other creature comforts, Taru Cave Suites is not for you. They're a small, family-run business with ten rooms, so they don't have all those bells and whistles. What they DO have however, far outweighs what they don't – an authentic 'cave' experience balanced with just the right amount of modern-day comforts. We reached the hotel quite late and Daniel at the front desk was up, bright as a daisy, to check us in and help us get settled. The reception is at the top level and the rooms are spread across three levels down. The room itself was spacious with a cavernous (literally and figuratively) attached bath. A big, comfortable metal (wasn't sure if it was wrought iron or brass) bed, a couple of chairs and a TV assured us we were living in modern times. A huge balcony was the highlight (ours was the only room with a balcony). Sadly, it was raining and cold and windy, so we couldn't make proper use of it. There is no room service, nor does the hotel have attached restaurants. Of course, you can order in from the restaurants in Göreme city center (they have the menus in the room), but we chose to walk around and eat at authentic places close by. They do have a breakfast place where a staff of three makes fresh breakfast every morning. If it's not too cold, feel free to take your cup of coffee to the attached terrace and enjoy taking in the view. The staff is amazing – friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Special shout-out to Daniel (thank you for taking our calls at midnight just to tell us the WiFi password!) and Bahar (thank you for pointing us to the Apetito restaurant!) Would definitely recommend this place.

This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve been too. The grounds, rooms and amenities were spectacular - and the hotel really pays attention to every detail to ensure a comfortable and fun stay. The food was some of the best we had in turkey. And we did a tour (ask for Emine- she’s the best!). Our guide was well informed and adjusted the tour to our needs. What made the stay even more remarkable and memorable was the staff - everyone was incredibly kind and patient. Thank you for a special trip. I’ll be back!

In general, the Kayadibi cave hotel is in the center of Ürgüp, which makes it a convenient place to stay. The rooms are clean, furniture is authentic and well maintained. The shower works well (no problems with hot water and water flow). Although it's summertime and hot outside, the temperature in cave rooms is just perfect without extra cooling. I’m glad to have stayed in such a hotel – it’s certainly extraordinary to have an opportunity to spend some time in a cave hotel! Thanks to the hotel owner I had a pleasant experience whilst traveling in Cappadocia.

We stayed 3 nights and we would have liked to extend our stay. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly blended with the surroundings, located in a unique environment with views that will remain in our memory forever. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The best thing about the hotel was walking through it, your imagination took you to another time. Breakfast was typical Turkish, fabulous and amazing. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive to any request, especially I remember Volkan who was at the reception, he helped us a lot with his explanations about the places we should visit explaining the reasons for doing so, he was a charming person for us. We definitely have to go back.

The lady who worked as a tour agent is really kind and amazing. She spoke English very fluently and able to give us the best information and guide that we need as a team of four. Adnan is a wonderful person. He took us to great places that fit us well, and most of the time accompany us to visit places. Although it wasn't in his responsibility. But he always very willing to show us and inform us the background story in each and every places. It was meaningful trip for us to meet him. He is the first kind Turkish person I met in Turkey. I visit Cappadocia (solo) in June to celebrate my birthday. My hotel stay was amazingly amazing. The interiors of the hotel is so phenomenal and the breakfast gave me a feeling of a proper traditional home cooked Turkish breakfast. My friend called the hotel and informed them that it’s my birthday and requested to arrange a cake. The staff did the needful and made sure that I have a good birthday celebration. They assisted me with my all my needs and directions to nearby places during my stay. Overall my stay was satisfactory!

I felt like I was staying at my family’s home! The business is run and operated by son and father, they are very kind and easy going. The hotel has relics and antiques, making it feel very authentic. The rooms are kitschy and have a lot of character!! Beautiful views and very quiet. There’s a nice living room and patio to sit and read a book or just relax after a long day of site seeing. The bathroom shower is next to toilet without a separating wall which at first I thought was odd, but i got used to it and realized it’s fine! I saw other room has a separator and with 2 beds, so you’ll need to request this one. Also water ran hot and strong. Beds is on the harder side but for some that’s great and I hear that’s how it is in the hotels in this area. I stayed 6 nights and loved it at Born Hotel! I highly recommend this hotel for budget travelers.
