Fabulous hotel. Lovely friendly receptionist and great cleaning service. Beautiful pool with great mountain view. Loved the sunken bath for showering in. Added bonus was you tube on the TV to watch during down time. The only negative was they didn't restock sufficiently during the breakfast buffet and no safety deposit box as advertised. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

I had an incredible experience staying at Amari Vang Vieng. The hotel is beautifully designed and provides a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the sunrise with breathtaking views surrounded by balloons from the balcony. The room was spacious and clean, and the swimming pool was another plus, allowing me to relax and enjoy the views. The restaurant next to the pool offers delicious food, I highly recommend it! The breakfast was amazing, with a large variety of dishes that were very tasty. Overall, I had an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend Amari Vang Vieng to anyone visiting this lovely town.

The environment is beautiful and pleasant. There are few breakfast varieties. The staff are enthusiastic. There are many activities around, such as hot air balloons, boating, and rock climbing. In short, it is worth the price.

100% recommended if you come to Vang Vieng! The location of the hotel is perfect, you have the night market, morning market and bus station really close walking. You also have the train station at 40 min walking We stayed in the atic apartment and was amazing. Huge beautiful apartment with amazing balcony and views of Vang Vieng mountains. You can see the sunset and air balloons from the bed The facilities are also really good! You have a really nice bar where the food is delicious ( also the breakfast ), swimming pool and the staff is so kind and helpful A must in Vang Vieng 💯

The hotel was in a great location.Walkable distance from many eateries .The room and shower was spacious and clean .The breakfast was a delicious traditional breakfast .The pancakes were really good . I didn’t get to experience the pool but it looked very clean .I would come back again .

best location and view. i recommend to upgrade for mountain n river view. otherwise not worth to stay. breakfast is good as well. nearby have everything even walking street market n coffee shop

Based upon the previous TA comments, i guess we were lucky that a new manager stepped in 2 weeks ago and, as far as we're concerned, had done a great job since then. The staff, if a little amateur in some aspects, is welcoming, helpfull and very attentive. Rooms was clean, with all required equipment in perfect working order (just wondering why our room-308-did not have a mini-bar, as all the items were laying on the floor at room temperature). Cocktails and diners were pleasant, thanks to the G. Manager's omni presence, i guess. Looks like this hotel needed a drastic change in management: the team is great and needs some close guidance and training. One ”minus” point though: the lighting in the room is way too weak: just impossible to properly read when in bed.

I found it quite nice to stay here. The hotel offers a comfortable stay with clean bedroom, bathroom with good water system, lovely view of the mountain from the bedroom's balcony, convenient access to the river cruise, and most of all.... affordable price. Oh, the breakfast choice is generous as well.

Whoever has no problem with loud Chinese day and night on the rivers can check in here. Here Chinese short-term holidays are going down in masses that have not yet learned. behave. I recently stayed at Lisha Hotel, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The bathroom had a constant foul odor, and the plumbing system was a nightmare. Every time I took a shower, the water would flood all over the bathroom, reaching the toilet and sink. To make matters worse, there was a big gaping hole under the sink that allowed lizards and bugs to come into my room, which was unacceptable. Despite claiming to be a four-star hotel, Lisha Hotel fell far short of that standard. I would rate it as a two-star hotel at best, and I would give it a mere one star based on my experience. The staff at the hotel were not helpful at all. They lacked English language skills and were unfriendly. When I asked about train tickets, they claimed it was all sold out, even though I later found out that I could easily purchase them at the train station myself. Their misinformation and unhelpful attitude made my experience in Laos very difficult, and it has left me with no desire to visit the country again. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend booking at Lisha Hotel. The foul odor, plumbing issues, lack of cleanliness, unhelpful staff, and poor customer service are not reflective of a four-star hotel, and it did not meet my expectations. I would advise looking for alternative accommodations to avoid similar disappointments during your stay in Laos.
