Stayed at Hotel San Gialo in Venice for three days in early November. As many tourists left comments praising the hotel, it is clean, tidy, antique, and has free self-brewed coffee. Especially it is very close to all major attractions, very close, it can be said that it is within easy reach! And here I especially want to praise Ms. Huang at the front desk of the hotel! For me, a free traveler who barely speaks English and is alone, I am grateful to the quiet and beautiful Italian-Chinese girl Miss Huang! When I came to the front desk of the hotel, I found that the staff was Chinese, so I asked her if she could communicate in Chinese. Although Ms. Huang is Italian, she was able to communicate with me fluently in Chinese, which really made me overjoyed! Ms. Huang was patient and enthusiastic. She used colored pens on the map to carefully tell me how to get to the airport, how to get to the waterway, how to get to the bus, how much the fare was, how long it took, how to buy tickets for the water bus, and how to take the water bus. It's so quiet and nice. The staff are very friendly. I will book this hotel again next time I come to Venice.

A very comfortable stay and exceeded expectations. The only downside was a slight buzzing noise coming from outside the building - but didn't affect me at all and in general was very quiet for what is such a central location!

Brilliant location, right next to most of the main attractions. Brilliant and helpful staff. Room has everything you would need, hairdryer, toiletries, minibar and safe. The person on reception helped us figure out when and where to get the waterbus to get to the airport in perfect time. Lots of suggestions given for restaurants and cafes.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel San Gallo for four nights in September, 2023. Located right near Piazza San Marco, it was the perfect location for us. The property is a little quirky in some ways, but endearingly so. We encountered four different staff members while we were there, and they were all very pleasant and friendly. We very much appreciated their hospitality.

The room was very clean and the air conditioner was great. You have to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get in the hotel.There were 2 small bottles of champagne waiting for us which was nice. The room is very small. We spent very little time in the room, so it was ok. The staff was very kind, thoughtful, and helpful. The location is good. It's nothing special but i would stay there again.

Very charming! Lots of steps but the sweet girl at the front brought our bags up. Perfect location! Room was small but didn’t need any thing else. So cute and old! I recommend this hotel. Great price!!
