The check in person was unnecessarily rude. Asked for a refund to stay somewhere else, and she chased me off the property. For your safety, do not go here alone.

Recently renovated but not quality workmanship. Quiet on-site but near a major roadway. The free breakfast was very limited but the staff was friendly and helpful. Good location relative to downtown Charleston. Near grocery stores, restaurants and other shopping.

We wanted to try Creekside and check out the upgrades. Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and hospitable…best part of the visit! The room was fine and clean, beds comfy. Bathroom was clean but old and small, cigarette burns on the tub, felt a bit grimy. We enjoyed the outside creekside area. Breakfast was minimal and coffee was not good at all. Overall it was fine for the discounted price, we probably we choose to stay somewhere else and pay more on a future visit.

The hotel is a Mom & Pop type hotel...nothing fancy but clean, comfortable and affordable. I would certainly stay again. The breakfast was included and it was more than expected for the price of the room.

The checkin service and cleaning staff were very professional and courteous! The hotel room was clean. The only drawback was the heater/air conditioner unit was very loud when it turned on. The location of the hotel is beautiful with a dock and creek! I would highly recommend this hotel.

This older hotel looks to have been improved in recent times. Bed and bedding appears to be very new- very comfortable! Bathroom and all flooring also recently new along with tv, refrigerator and microwave. Basic but in very good condition. Continental breakfast is very basic. Coffee held in air pots was always lukewarm. Nice property next to a river. Smoking allowed outdoors but I found only one receptacle for butts, and so there were butts on the grounds on many areas. Real effort has been made to upgrade this hotel. It isn’t perfect but is an excellent value for the rates charged.

Beds, rooms all clean and updated. Perfect for a nice night stay and breakfast included! Staff excellent and sweet. Even came to our room to show us how to connect to stream tv.

Great property, we loved being on the water and watching the birds!
Gap under door in room 102 is so big, I could see the light from outside coming in. Found a few random bugs & I'm sure this is why. Floor constantly wet and sticky due to us walking in with moisture on our shoes from wet porch. Something a foot matt could easily fix.
