We absolutely loved the Time Tunnel Hotel in Banpo International Art Zone, Xi’an. I travelled to the city, for the first time, primarily to visit the Terracotta Warriors. After two nights in the city centre, I booked the Time Tunnel because I thought my (older) children would like the modernity and avant-grade nature of the hotel! My husband, myself and our four children were amazed and surprised by how comfortable, clean and enjoyable the experience was. The Time Tunnel staff were courteous, thoughtful and remarkably keen to look after us well. The breakfast was simple, but delicious and well presented and prepared. The hotel reminded us of trendy hotels in up and coming areas of the United Kingdom. We also loved the Banpo International Art Zone and found some great little restaurants, cafes and art exhibitions there. Both the city centre and Terracotta Warriors were easily accessible by the Xi’an Metro. We would definitely stay there again!

Located in the art park, you can take your children for a walk when you have nothing to do. There are restaurants, bars, cafes, and night markets in the park. Parking is in the underground parking lot. There is no elevator and you can only enter and exit from the car entrance, which is a bit dangerous. The hotel is still good. The decoration style is more industrial and motorcycle style. Children can't understand it, but adults still like it.

Very quiet hotel. Old customer. When I first stayed there, milk was delivered before bed. Now it seems that it is no longer available.
The quality of toothpaste and toothbrush was better in the past. Only the slippers are as good as before.
The overall situation has declined slightly, but I still hope to do better and better.

This is close to the highway exit, and you can park and charge for free. The disadvantages are relatively hidden, the room is a bit dim, and the old style may not be liked by children. The breakfast is a bit simple. This price is not worth it.
