Xi'an Yanta District Hotels

We had a wonderful stay at the Westin.   Our room and bathroom were spacious, and the beds and pillows were so comfy!   The staff were very helpful and friendly, even though this is a big hotel with many guests coming and going.   We liked staying here so much, we extended  our stay for another week.  We were very impressed by Leona, who went the extra mile to help us with our reservation.  She also personally delivered a pot of iced lemon tea to our room when she noticed how much we liked it.   The staff helped us to get taxis, and carried our bags when needed.   The breakfasts were always sumptuous, with a lot of variety.   We fell in love with the Mai, the Japanese restaurant, and ate there many times.   The chef was outstanding, providing consistently delicious food that rivaled what we ate in Tokyo,  and the staff, especially Kerry, were always warm and attentive, which made eating there such a lovely experience..   All said, the Westin is truly a five-star hotel, and is highly recommended.

Our butler at the Elegant Hotel presented us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The service was exceptionally thoughtful; they contacted us in advance and arranged for a room on a non-smoking floor. We also received a fruit platter and welcome gifts in our room. Overall, our experience was excellent. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! Minibar: A complimentary Coke and Sprite are restocked daily. While these aren't high-value items, it really speaks volumes about the hotel's thoughtful hospitality. Service: Housekeeping responded promptly after we pressed the service button. For laundry service, simply dial '0' to the front desk, and a staff member will collect your items, which are then returned dried and neatly packaged. They even have robots delivering takeout orders directly to your room door – super convenient!

I had an amazing experience at the Ritz Carlton, Xi’an. The room was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, stylish, well-decorated and modern. The bedding was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, well-equipped and the shower was amazing. The staff were all so warm, professional and attentive. The food at both restaurants was incredible delicious, fresh, beautifully prepared with a wide variety of cuisines. The spa service was divine. I would not consider staying anywhere else on ny next visit.

one of the very best hotels in town. Lacey was super helpful and I enjoyed my hospitality with her. Would highly recommend this hotel among others in shenyang city. Location at center of center in town, shopping and food center within 1min walking distance. Will come back here again for sure. Best of all be this place has a special positive energy that will flows thru your entire trip. Enjoy!

The hotel is in a good location, close to the Tang Dynasty City that Never Sleeps and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. I am particularly satisfied with the breakfast, which has a wide variety, a good environment, and good taste. The front desk service is warm and considerate. As soon as I entered the store, the girl warmly greeted me and helped me with my luggage, and then handed me wet wipes and sour plum soup. The room was spacious and well-equipped. The waiter's service was good, and he folded the scattered clothes neatly during cleaning. The only drawback was that there were outsiders who were not customers occupying the elevator for too long, which resulted in us not being able to get into the elevator when we left the hotel. We waited for several times but it was full. Finally, we finally got into the employee elevator and got off, which affected our satisfaction with the hotel.

The hotel is very new, the rooms were very spacious. It was very easy to get around to the different tourist locations. The biggest issue I had with the room was that no matter how many times we left the AC running it would never go below 25 degrees Celsius even when we set it to 19 degrees. We told the front desk and they sent someone to the to fix it twice and it still didn’t work. Lastly, there was a drain fly problem in the toilet where I killed on average 7-10 small black drain flies everyday. We had to keep the toilet door closed at all time to ensure that they don’t fly out to the main bedroom. The staff were very quick to offer a different room but as we were only staying for a short time and it wasn’t super hot we felt it was too bothersome to change and move everything.

Stayed over Christmas and was a really great stay with everything I needed. Lovely staff who were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but nice. Rooms were large with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Was in a fairly good location. Easy to get to.

The receptionist DaisyLi was friendly and attentive. She helped arrange a high-floor room with a great view. It was a pleasant stay. The welcome fruit in the room was fresh and delicious. The details were thoughtful and considerate.

I stayed at this Grand Hyatt in Xi'an as a stopover during my trip, and I personally cannot recommend it. Firstly, the location is highly inconvenient. It's over an hour's drive from both the airport and the high-speed rail station, and quite a distance from the subway station and commercial area, making transportation a real hassle. To top it off, I was only informed *after* I'd already settled in that no refunds were possible?! Secondly, I encountered a major issue at the 22nd-floor cafe. When I ordered, I specifically asked about the dining inclusions for my executive suite and made it clear I didn't want anything extra. However, the staff's explanation was vague, muddled, and completely failed to clarify exactly what was included or in what quantities. Then, the very next day *after I had checked out*, I received a call stating there was an error in the previous F&B charge and asking me to pay extra, with no compensation offered whatsoever. It felt like they were taking advantage of my good nature. Furthermore, I hadn't even used the F&B included in my original package at the executive lounge, and the staff at the time didn't properly explain the options. Honestly, the food was also quite bad, so much so that I skipped breakfast the next day. Even the fruit delivered to the room wasn't fresh. This entire process – discovering an issue a day later and then contacting me via personal WeChat for payment – struck me as highly unprofessional. As for room cleanliness, the windows were incredibly dirty, completely obscuring the outside view with a thick layer of grime. What's more, in the bathroom, the shampoo and shower gel bottles actually had hair from previous guests stuck to them. This hygiene standard is truly unacceptable. In summary, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. As a loyal Grand Hyatt customer, my experience at this Xi'an property was an absolute and utter disappointment. I sincerely hope they make improvements and address these issues promptly.

We stayed in the Gran Melia Xi’an Hotel as part of our family holiday in China. Compared with another international chain hotel (also five star) in Beijing we stayed, Gran Melia is way better. The room is spacious, comfortable and spotless clean. The breakfast is heaven, so many varieties in both Chinese and Western food. This is the best opportunity to try local Xi’an Street food. The food in executive lounge is divine -top quality French, Spanish, Japanese cuisine and drinks for dinner are available free for executive guests. One of the best executive lounge in China so far. We want to thank all the staff we dealt with -at the front desk, concierge, accommodations, executive lounge team, the restaurant & kitchen in the hotel for their superb professional high standard service during our stay. We feel so lucky to book with the Gran Melia Xi’an and we will definitely come back again and again. And we’ll be happy to try Gran Melia in other cities in China. Thanks again for all your help.
