"I used to choose this hotel every time I went on a business trip to Xiangtan. The service is good and the facilities are complete. But these four days, especially these two days, I felt that the front desk service was not good enough. I had to send clothes for washing in the evening. I called the front desk and insisted that it would be washed tomorrow. I told the cleaning lady Next, I helped readily without saying a word. The same goes for extending my stay. I asked to swipe the room card, but it turned out that I couldn't open it when I went upstairs. I had to wait for the aunt to come and help open the door. I hope the hotel will get better and better in the future."

GGuest UserSelf-driving tour booked to live up to the light homestay, the boss and his wife are really kind and simple, warm and generous. Feeling at home, the boss took the initiative to provide free water, electricity, kitchen, cookers, and side dishes. The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was comfortable and quiet. GGuest UserThis is a very typical rural B&B, with a restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The B&B is located in a village at the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is allowed and pets are allowed. It is about 500 meters away from the former residence of the elders and the Bronze Statue Square. The owner's service is warm and the room is clean. The facilities are simple and outdated. The bathroom did not provide bath towels and there was no shower. The bedding may be too basic and make a twitching sound when you turn over. In Shaoshan in March, the temperature at night was very low, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner, but the sound from the outdoor air conditioner was loud, like a tractor. When I turned off the air conditioner, the same sound came from the outdoor air conditioners in other rooms, and the quilt was a little thin. Great choice for light sleepers. It’s okay to just pass by on a self-driving tour and stay overnight.

GGuest UserThe couple running this renovated traditional home in Mao's home village are very attentive to guests' needs, even on the busiest day of the year, December 26th, Chairman Mao's birthday. My partner was coming down with a cold and got some ginger soup to drink. Additionally, when we screwed up our schedule and almost couldn't make our train out of Shaoshan, with no train available to reschedule, the couple arranged for the husband to drive us to the station for little more than gas money. It's up a slight hill from the other inns and allows one to get a bit of peace and quiet, again, even on the busiest day of the year, when Shaoshan is very worth a visit for anyone interested in Mao Zedong's legacy, given the number of Chinese people who show up to sing, dance, wave various flags and give speeches. Don't make our mistake and schedule the Chairman Mao memorial hall for a full visit instead of rushing though it. The exhibit is full of pictures and dioramas and has English captions for most things.
I also wish we'd had time to explore the pagoda on the hill behind the guesthouse.

GGuest UserStayed in a room in the main building. The hotel is in a good location, close to South Railway Station and not far from Shaoshan. The hotel facilities are good and the layout is very charming. The waiters were all friendly and the service was attentive. What impressed me most was the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of Manager Li Xiu.
The food in the restaurant is delicious and the prices are relatively affordable, especially the restaurant on the second floor. The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool, which can satisfy those who like swimming and stay near Shaoshan. There is a gift shop downstairs for convenient shopping.
The disadvantage is that the hotel does not have a washing machine, which is still a traditional hotel practice. There are also no laundry bags for dirty clothes, but rudimentary plastic bags are provided.

GGuest UserWe came to Lushan with a group of six people and compared several homestays online. The garden of this homestay attracted me. The beautiful and generous proprietress personally came to the high-speed rail station to pick us up, and entered the yard of the hotel like breaking into a fairyland: green plants, flowers, rockery, fish pond, pavilion and room facilities, all showing elegant quality. We eat, drink tea, chat in the garden, very pleasant! The proprietress also enthusiastically helped us plan the tour route and arrange the vehicle. The food is also very delicious. Especially when one of our companions fell accidentally, the proprietress personally went to the hospital to buy gifts to visit, help provide treatment plans and suggestions, which made us very touched. The staff of this homestay are also like the proprietress, and the service is very enthusiastic, reflecting the high quality of Chairman Mao's hometown. We came to Lushan not only to receive red education, but also to feel the enthusiasm and warmth of the people in the hometown of great people.

The 1.35-meter twin bed is not too small to sleep on, and the bed is soft enough and comfortable. The toilet is also big enough, with dry and wet separations. It is mainly clean and hygienic, which is really good.

The room was clean and hygienic, and the boss was very enthusiastic to teach us travel guides and precautions.
