"道路から離れており周りがとても静かで過ごしやすかったです。眺望はとてもよく周りの鳥の声やヤギの声が響いており落ち着いて過ごせました。車入り口の位置がわかりにくいというレビューがありましたが管理者の方が現地で丁寧に教えてくださり特に不便には思いませんでした。
チェックインの時間が早まったり、トレッキングの装備の受け取りなども対応いただき素晴らしいホスピタリティを感じました。
また設備に関しては何不自由ないキッチン用具、洗濯用具が揃っていました。特に乾燥機もあったのが雨の日が多かったので大変助かりました。ネット環境はほとんど繋がらないことだけ注意点です。
総合的にとても満足でまたグループで屋久島に行く際にはぜひ泊まりたいと思いました。"

"I like this homestay very much, the owner is a kind Japanese guy. There are no barriers to communication in English. Run by a family of three, the older grandpa feels like a carpenter and a craftsman. The wooden house and furniture should be built and made by themselves. The old woman is in charge of logistics and helps tidy and clean the room. The guy is responsible for Zhang Luo guests, contact and communication. If it is not peak season, the boss is happy to pick up guests at the dock. The hotel is a two-minute walk from Niu Chuang Park Station and it is very convenient to go to Baigu Yunshui Gorge. But going to Miyanoura Port is a bit inconvenient. You have to walk to the Acroop supermarket and take the bus. But because his house is really unique and great, so the location is not so convenient. This can be ignored (๑˙ー˙๑) In short, it is a great homestay, the owner and his family are amiable, and there is one The white cat named Ah Jiang is so gentle and cute. It can be hugged and won't scratch people at all 😊 will recommend friends to live! !"

GGuest UserBecause of a homestay, I fell in love with an island. Luana House is backed by the mountains and facing the sea, watching the mountains and the sea, watching the sunset, watching the sky full of stars, satisfying the appearance of all the houses in the dream. Beautiful boss, handsome boss, the ultimate and exquisite room and service details. What touched me was that we didn't tell the time of arrival at all. The bus was still in confusion. The boss and his wife had already raised their hands to us on the platform on the hillside. I really don't know how many times they looked around. And who would have expected that a table full of dishes that make your taste buds bloom is made by such a beautiful proprietress. The fresh fish caught from the sea every day and the fruits and vegetables from the garden make our perfect dinner. In order to plan a route for the greedy me, the two couples racked their brains and tried everything possible to satisfy my ideas, and then drove us to the hot spring every night. The hostess will wash the clothes we change every day and fold them for us. It is a super five-star hotel service! Full score of strength!

GGuest User1) Paddler services are not widely used in Japan, and I thought that there are few such wonderful paddler services. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Mr. Paddler A, who was indebted to me personally and provided a wonderful service to other customers as well.
2) Regarding meals, the comfortable food menu was sophisticated, and although it was a simple menu such as salads and hamburgers, it was made with great care and was delicious! (There are some other menus that I'm interested in, and I'm looking forward to the next time.) On the other hand, I wondered if there was another menu for creative dishes and breads. (I think there are personal tastes ...)
3) Regarding drinks, there were many local products such as original drinks, and I enjoyed it very much. On the other hand, regarding the serve of wine etc., although it is a luxury hotel restaurant and from 2000 yen / glass, there is no tasting, detailed explanation, follow-up, etc., so I was reluctant.
4) The atmosphere of the room, facilities and amenities (local brands and environmentally friendly products) are also excellent. In addition, two types of soaps were installed, and I was able to choose the scent that suits my mood. However, although the shaver is a high-class item, it is very heavy and not easy to use, so I think it would be more convenient if it was a little lighter and cheaper to use.

Service is excellent. People are nice, always trying to help, being resourceful on how you may handle your visit of the island. Top notch people.
The real ”could be better” thing to me is, the restaurant that close really early (8.30pm if my memory is good), does server only buffet for 80kY.
The buffet is of quality mixing Japanese, Chinese and Western styles of food. And also comes with nice desserts.
However, having the choice to get only one A la carte dish could be a real plus. I personally do not want to get a full buffet for every and each of my diners.
And if you do not have a car, finding another place to eat may become a challenge. There is nothing around at a walking distance except a supermarket.
The breakfast is definitely qualitative. And if you intend to move early for visiting, the hotel can prepare you a breakfast and a lunch box for no overcharge. Basic but good and appreciated.
To have another plus, they serves a local craft beer made with local cedar trees. Quite a good and interesting one.

GGuest UserVery friendly and kind hosts! They drove us to the bus stop and made vegan cake for us. The onsen is also very beautiful and the rooms were perfect for our stay. If you come to Yakushima, you should definitely stay there!

ややまとIt was my first trip to Yakushima and the hotel staff were very kind!
When my child caught a fever on the way there and was feeling exhausted, they recommended ice packs and takeout from a nearby shop.
Even after he recovered, they asked if I was OK, which I was very grateful for.
Everyone, from the tourism staff to the food staff, was very kind, and it's a place I definitely want to visit again!

GGuest UserI went to Yakushima Landes in the heavy rain, so I wanted to take a bath early, so it was before check-in time before going to the nearby day trip hot spring from 15:00, but I bought sashimi and beer for dinner in advance. Pe I was very helpful because I was able to put it in the refrigerator of the nshon. Moreover, when I told the owner that I would go to the hot springs, he said, ”You can bring a bath towel and a towel in the room. If you tell him that you came from a while, you will get a discount.” I am grateful that you can take a bath at a great deal. I ate dinner while having fun talking to my wife who was in the kitchen, so I didn't miss my evening drink alone. I didn't bring my pajamas, but I was able to borrow it when I told you. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and very comfortable. I was excited to hear that it was Japanese food when I inquired in advance because I couldn't eat bread because I was allergic to wheat about breakfast. I was very satisfied with the nutritious breakfast that was very delicious and had a good protein. The coffee brewed by my husband after the meal was also very delicious. The woody building using Jisugi gave me healing to my eyes, and the air I breathed from my nose was great for retreats. Every time you see flowers decorated everywhere, you will feel calm. Thank you for the color 々. Thank you very much for your help. I want to see you again.

MMin724I booked a western-style twin room with an old decoration, but it basically meets my needs. The hotel is close to the port and provides free round-trip transfers from the airport. You can also rent mountaineering equipment at the hotel. The staff is very polite and enthusiastic. Overall, this hotel is a very good choice for tourists who want to save trouble.

We booked the corner room. The room was well illuminated by natural light during the day and we could see the river from our room. At night we could even hear the water flowing. There were two western single beds but we asked for futons for the full Japanese experience and loved it! The room was spacious and clean. There was a bathtub in the bathroom but we used the public bath (male and female separated) which was amazing. The public bath was quiet and spacious and there was a sauna room. Breakfast was served during 7am -830am with a well set table as shown in the picture. The staff was super kind. Just note that the walls were thin and you should expect some noise but people here are generally used to keeping their voice down.
Another highlight is that you can take the bus of both the red and blue lines at the bus stop right in front of the hotel. (The blue line is for Shiratani Unsuikyo.). It is very convenient if you are not driving. The hotel is around 25 mins away from the ferry port and the walk there was pleasant and not difficult to find.
Yet another great thing about this place is that you can rent mountaineering gear here at a cheap price, including shoes and rain protection. We rented the shoes here at 1,xxx yen per person (forgot the exact price) and they were very useful. It was raining for almost the whole 5h hike for us and the shoes offered a good grip and were sufficiently waterproof. You can also find little souvenirs at their shop. Honestly, it's impeccable!

Each room can overlook the mountains and the sea in the distance, and there is a sea nearby, which is crossed by a bridge. Hotel facilities are a bit outdated. Every night there is a tweeter in Shanganfang Village to warn you to be vigilant, and the speaker will play music again at 6 o'clock in the morning every day to remind you not to fall asleep. The hotel does not provide catering. The restaurant and restaurant in Guofu Village will solve the problem by themselves, and the price will be lower. Not very satisfied with the accommodation.
