This booking rate as our most disappointing booking on our 3 weeks 10 cities China trip. Front desk was deserted when we came in after 2pm. A lady came down hurriedly after contacting via WeChat, she immediately asked if we had purchased tickets for Wulingyuan, as well as the optional cable cars and elevator rides. After taking record of our passports, we were led to a room which was only semi cleaned, the lady proceeded to yelled at and berated another cleaning  lady for not completing all the cleaning in time. We stood by quietly while the cleaning lady proceeded to clean the bathroom, mopped the floor and the table tops. We were not told nor given any coupon for the included breakfasts. When we came back the next afternoon and asked the lady about the included breakfasts, she asked jokingly how sad that we had missed our breakfast that morning, she then gave us two cards for breakfast at a small decrepit shop about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Obviously, we chose to skip breakfast the next day. We accepted that we get what we paid for, as the price for 2 nights stay were competitive for the location. We were also aware that breakfast was served at a different spot. We are unhappy with the inhospitable attitude and the “you don’t ask you don’t get” approach. Oh, for the room and the bathroom, as I mentioned, you get what you paid for.

The night market right outside is so convenient to try the local food. Breakfast is a local restaurant a few doors opposite and you can choose your food. It was delicious but it's all local food so my fussy son ended up having one plain steamed bao (bun).You can do your own laundry for free. The receptionist was very helpful and assisted us in booking tickets for the Huanglong Cave as that had to be done via Wechat. Further down the road, there was a shop offering foot baths and massages. It was lovely but make sure you keep an eye on the agreed length of time. I would stay here again as it's sp convenient and comfortable.

the location very very good just about 5min walk to 东门，and 5min walk have a 10rmb bus ride to 南门。just downstair street have a food night market alot of choices. Very good stay. Got lift. Just that they have no dryer after you wash ur clothes, have to hang dry. The photo taken is the view from my 3rd floor room.

The hotel is very close to Zhanjiejia NP park, can walk to East gate. The hotel manager is really kind and share the NP information with guests and also can buy NP tickets with cheaper price than official web side here. Can check whether it's available on the message. Night market is just in front of the hotel. It's easy to look for food too. Can't find any better than this.

My stay at Hotelwas absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, the owner lady went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered stunning views of Zhangjiajie’s breathtaking scenery. The location was perfect—close to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, making it easy to explore. Special thanks to owner lady for her outstanding hospitality and helpful recommendations. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a mix of local and international options. Every detail, from the cozy ambiance to the thoughtful service, made my trip unforgettable. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie and will definitely stay here again!

Great location and good service. The hotel is not far from the sign gate. The hotel is quite old but the host has good service and recommend to visit around Zhangjiajie national park.

The hotel is very close to the east entrance of zhangjiajie national park. It is very convenient to walk over. The decorations in the room are tasteful and it was comfortable staying here. One thing to note, the zhangjiajie national park map provided by the hotel was not the best. There were some inaccuracies when following it. The distance and timings required to complete certain sections in zhangjiajie were wrong. Some more notable attractions were also not listed on the map. I would suggest the owner to revisit zhangjiajie national park and update the map for future visitors' reference.

The hotel is simply perfect. The service is super kind. They are continuously trying to help with everything. Although they do not speak English, they try so hard to understand you using the translator, which is very appreciated. The suggestions they make to visit the park are super useful. Regarding the location, it is next to the park entrance, so it is really convenient if you want to go hiking in the early morning. It is also located next to several restaurants. The breakfast is offered in a place next to the main hotel. Although they do not have the common European/American stuff, everything is really good. In conclusion, we would highly recommend to stay in this hotel.

Staff very helpful, don't worry if you can't speak Chinese WeChat can help. Room clean with full function, close wulingyung gate. ABF variety. Hotel have elevator good for seniors.

Extremely convenient location within 5 minutes walking of park entrance. Good service but communication had to be done by translator apps. Rooms are clean, large, comfortable and have a very nice tradition style. Would definitely come back!

The front desk lady was really helpful, and she was definitely prepared to receive and guide foreigners. She knew the basic information to give even not speaking English and I not speaking Chinese, she had the patience to translate and to explain things to me. She explained the main spots to see in Zhangjiajie national Forest, if I needed to buy tickets,and even handled me a nice 3 days schedule to see the main attractions in the park.
