Inns in Jiangsu, China

This was my second time staying here, and it was great! I stayed for several days, and the service was excellent. The front desk staff were particularly helpful. The environment and hygiene were both very good. Even though it's in a scenic area, it was surprisingly quiet, and getting to other places was very convenient.

This is the most satisfying B&B I've stayed at in the past year or two! It's by the river, and the view is beautiful! For us northerners, it truly gives off that 'small bridges, flowing water, and homes' vibe. The room decor is elegant and has a classic charm. The service was exceptional; the owner even helped me receive a package in advance. They also gave us great recommendations for places to eat. There were complimentary fruits and cookies in the room, which was a nice surprise for the kids. If I hadn't been here for business and wasn't leaving the area the next day, I would have definitely stayed longer. One hundred percent satisfied!

The house is located right in the heart of Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, a very scenic and traditional area. When you open the door, there's a clear path straight to the window, and from there, you get a picturesque view of the river right outside, with a bridge in the distance and shops on the opposite bank. It really captures that classic 'small bridge, flowing water, and local homes' vibe. The room itself was quite clean, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. We're a family of three, and they thoughtfully provided an extra comforter for us without us even asking.

This is a great Republic of China-era hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot yet still central. The courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about 800 meters from popular attractions like Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, Dongguan Ancient Ferry, and Xing Street – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of dining options; the famous Erchun Fried Rice is right next door, and old brands like Fuchun Teahouse, Maopailou, and Gonghechun are all nearby. It's incredibly convenient for an after-dinner stroll. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Located at the entrance of a small alley, it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. If time permits, brewing a pot of tea and sitting in the courtyard to soak in the 'slow Yangzhou' vibe would be truly delightful!

Word of advice for people who didnt know, the hotel is right smack in the middle of non-car access area. After alighting, you should use trip app call function to call the hotel so that they bring a old trolley to pull your luggage for you. It is in a tourism spot so super convenient to eat and shop. But it is a door that is at a side lane, and also that is kept closed at all times, see pic 4. At night, if you are lucky, there are 2 lantern lights lit for you, see pic 5. However, the girls at the lobby are super helpful. They operate the dining area across, so they sometimes disappear from counter. But they are helpful when you ask them things. They even ordered a late night noodles for me when i told them i do not have a ******* app. Lovely stay.

A very clean and elegantly decorated Hotel very close to 獅子林 Lion Garden and all the main attractions. All modern facilities and very friendly helpful staff, the bed was so comfortable and the area very quiet , so really got a good night’s sleep 😴 Excellent place to stay, really convenient location and would reccomend it to everyone ! 酒店位子很方便，離獅子林很近，其他景點也不遠，吃飯特方便很多飯館。酒店滿滿的中國風，優雅美麗，也非常乾淨。設備很新，床特別舒服，前台非常熱情友好，來蘇州這個酒店是我住的最好的，在有機會來也會選擇這裡，推薦啊！

I had a very satisfying stay! The hotel is located inside Nianhua Bay, and booking a room even included two free entrance tickets, so the value for money was quite good. The evening fireworks and drone show were spectacular; there were many performances during the Chinese New Year period, and of course, a lot of people. I'd especially like to commend Xiao Shi, our guesthouse butler. Her service was incredibly warm and attentive. Not only did she provide a schedule of events, but she also answered all our questions. After returning home, I realized I'd left my charger at the guesthouse. I contacted them, and they immediately arranged to have it sent to me by express delivery. Thumbs up!

On my way to university, I was lucky to be able to relax in such a poetic and warm place. From the quaint decorations to the warm lighting, it was all pleasant. The room was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable and soft, equipped with a dehumidifier, and the northerners could easily stay, giving me a full rest during my tired journey. The service of the inn is even more impeccable. Everyone is warm and friendly. I just bid farewell to my family and feel the warmth of home again. In addition, the surrounding environment of the inn is also very beautiful, with both quiet alleys and convenient commercial streets. In short, this inn was a highlight of my trip and I would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends. I wish you a happy life and all the best!

Very nice small hotel next to the canals of Zhouzhuang. Rooms are good and you feel like time travelling in old China with the traditional furniture and beds. Lovely owner who provided us with tips and lots of help when I lost my wallet in a Didi. You have to pay the entry fee to get to touristic area in which the hotel is located which was ¥150 p.p. during the day, it’s cheaper if you enter after 8pm so best to check with the host who is super lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Very satisfied with a stay, the hotel is a small garden, the environment is very good, the air is very fresh and the scenery is beautiful, staying here for a day without the hotel will not be boring, it is really ten steps! It is strongly recommended that girls who want to take Hanfu photos do not go to the scenic spot to squeeze with others. It is very popular to live here directly. The hotel has a local restaurant and tea room. You can consult the front desk and you can also set a banquet. The lobby can put eight tables. The only downside is that there is no laundry room, and you have to bring enough clothes if you live for a long time in winter. The kittens and big fat goose in the garden are very cute. The smart toilet is the kind of high-end and comfortable, and the bath water pressure is also suitable. Breakfast is fixed, not self-service, is the local characteristics of Daxuan and Yangchun noodles, real materials and full. This time is the off-season, it will appear that the garden is relatively deserted but there is a sense of coolness. I think I will stay here again when I am in a bad mood in the future, and bring a few tea leaves to drink tea in the garden, which will be very pleasant.
