Discovering this Zen-inspired hotel nestled in the vibrant heart of Wenshu Monastery area was truly the most delightful surprise of my Chengdu trip! Stepping into the courtyard, I was immediately soothed by the grey tiles, white walls, dry landscape garden, and rustic wooden decor. The 'Buddhist Affinity' screen in the lobby and the Four-Faced Buddha statues exuded a tranquil Zen charm, and even the staff's 'Namaste' greetings were incredibly gentle. The room featured a Chinese Zen design with solid wood furniture and a tea set by the window. The bedding was so soft that I slept soundly all night, and from the balcony, I could catch glimpses of the traditional Western Sichuan folk houses in the alleyways. The location is absolutely perfect; it's a 5-minute walk to Wenshu Monastery subway station, surrounded by hot pot restaurants and snack stalls, and just a 10-minute taxi ride to Chunxi Road. Although the breakfast was simple, it was exquisite, offering vegetarian dishes alongside Western pastries, and even the freshly ground coffee was rich and fragrant. The staff also proactively recommended authentic local eateries and hidden gems. To find such a tranquil and conveniently located retreat in the midst of the bustling city, offering both serene Zen ambiance and easy access to urban life, is incredible value for money. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chengdu!

This is the third time I have stayed here. I like the environment here very much. The room is simple and clean. The most important thing is that there is a slide in the room. The children like it very much. The view from the room is very good. The most important thing is that the food is delicious and the boss is nice. It's also very nice and the stay is very comfortable.

I absolutely have to rave about this guesthouse! We stayed here for several nights in Jiuzhai and had an amazing experience. First, a huge shout-out to the owner. Our child suffered from altitude sickness during the night, and the owner immediately brought over Rhodiola Rosea and an oxygen tank. When our plans changed and we needed to shorten our stay by a day, the owner readily agreed without any fuss. The driver recommended by the owner was also very reliable. Oh, and the owner's tea is incredibly fragrant – I even got to sample some, haha! Now, for the location: it's super convenient. It's easy to get to both the Jiuzhai Scenic Area and Chongqia Ice and Snow World, and the town itself isn't as bustling as the area right at the gorge entrance. The guesthouse is located at the end of a road, making it a peaceful retreat amidst the activity. The guesthouse has its own spacious courtyard where we even played badminton. You can also see snow-capped mountains from the guesthouse. Plus, there are two adorable and friendly 'lucky cats' – I even got to pet them, which made me happy! We booked a family room, which was very spacious with large beds that were just the right firmness. There's also underfloor heating, and the room was spotlessly cleaned every day.

First, shoutout to the staff, because they were all superb, very helpful, friendly, and on top of everything - spoke great English. The hostel itself has a really nice bar area with daily live music. The cocktails and coffee are amazing, and there are also reasonably priced breakfast options (that I personally haven't tried) that you can enjoy indoors or outdoors. The hostel offers daily activities and access to tours and private drivers, so you may want to check it out before you book yourself for something. Location-wise, there is a metro stop a short walk away, and taxis never had issues finding the hostel, but you'll always be picked up on the other side of the street. It's within a walking distance from the Wenshu Monastery, and therefore street food area - very convenient. My room was a four-people bedroom (female only) and the room itself, although small, it was clean. So were the bedsheets. The towels are not provided, so bring your own, but shower gel and shampoo are. Having bathroom inside the room is definitely convenient, but can be a nightmare if your roommates come back and use a hair dryer at 1am. It's not the hostel's fault, but pointing it out as something you may want to consider discussing with your roommates. Each person in the room will have a locker assigned too (mine didn't have a lock, but the others' did, so you may want to check that with the staff. Personally, I wasn't bothered). There is also a communal fridge and washing machine (for an extra fee) on the second floor. Overall, I'd say it was a great experience and a nice hang-out spot in Chengdu!

This B&B is right at the entrance to the scenic area, and the hygiene is excellent. You can look up at the entire ******* village from your window. The hostess is so kind, enthusiastic, and incredibly efficient. What's even better is that she's also an experienced traveler herself, and she gave us so many great itinerary suggestions. She really gave us the courage to overcome altitude sickness and embrace the stunning beauty of the Great Northwest! After checking out, we adjusted our route based on her insider tips, and our trip was incredibly fulfilling. It truly showed us why Western Sichuan is called a 'must-drive destination in this lifetime' and opened up a whole new world for us. Hope we meet again someday, but even if we don't, I wish her a life full of joy and adventure! 🥰🥰🥰

We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Shangqouai Valley, Siguniang, making it easy to get around. The room was clean and comfortable, which is very important, especially when traveling with a baby. The staff were extremely kind and attentive. They reminded us not to wet our hair while showering to reduce the risk of AMS. When our baby cried nonstop at night, the staff showed great concern — they offered to take our baby to the hospital and provided oxygen as they were worried about AMS. We truly felt well taken care of. Highly recommended, especially for families traveling with young children.

The room was clean and tidy, with all the amenities. Although a bit dated, the inn's decor was cozy, just the way I like it. The owner, along with her son, met us at the parking lot and helped with our luggage, which was very much appreciated. The inn is very close to the main attractions of the ancient town, just a few minutes' walk away. We stayed on the second floor, where there was a dedicated tea area, and our family had a very enjoyable Dragon Boat Festival. It's a shame they're closing after October this year. I wish the owner a happy and carefree life ahead!

The entire courtyard is quiet and tastefully decorated. The room is a family-friendly one, located in the inner courtyard. The ambiance is excellent. The sofa area is separated from the bedroom. While not very spacious, it's comfortable and clean, with good air conditioning. The service was very friendly, including welcome fruit. They answered all questions, also known as ”Bi Lai.” The room also has its own cafe, and the Bingmei 15 is quite good. The downsides are that the water pressure from the electric water heater isn't very strong, and the mattress on the 1.5-meter king-size bed is a bit firm, but the 1.2-meter bed is fine.

My stay at the Emeishan View Hot Springs Hot Spring House was absolutely perfect! The front desk staff was warm and attentive, and check-in was efficient and quick. They also proactively shared helpful travel tips, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was spacious and comfortable, the private hot spring bath was clean and pleasant, and the breakfast service was a welcome bonus. With so many nearby attractions and convenient transportation, the overall experience far exceeded my expectations and is highly recommended!

The overall ambiance is absolutely wonderful! Downstairs there's a dining area offering delicious local specialties like yak hotpot, coffee, milk tea, and noodles. The room itself is incredibly clean and tidy. Everything about it felt fantastic! **Facilities:** The weather during our visit had a significant temperature difference between morning and evening, making it a bit chilly. Thankfully, the room had floor heating, and all the facilities were basically perfect! **Hygiene:** The hygiene was excellent, and the overall style was very distinctive. Walking into the lobby downstairs immediately impresses you – it's truly amazing! **Service:** The service was beyond words! From check-in to check-out, the service was super commendable. It was such a great experience that for the first time ever, I decided to give a five-star review even before checking out!!! The owner and all the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, truly making me feel the hospitality of the Western Sichuan region! Owner, your genuine approach will surely bring you great prosperity! I highly recommend everyone visiting Mount Siguniang to not miss this owner and this guesthouse hotel. Seriously, I'd be heartbroken if anyone missed out, okay?!
