RedDoorz Near Baclay Drive Super Metro

My recent stay at RedDoorz Pardo provided a unique blend of positives and challenges, offering a comfortable retreat while deviating from the typical RedDoorz amenities I've grown accustomed to. Upon entering my room, I immediately noticed the absence of standard toiletries like soap and a toothbrush—a departure from the usual RedDoorz experience. This deviation proved inconvenient, as these essentials are typically expected in a stay of this nature. RedDoorz Pardo may want to reconsider this oversight to maintain alignment with the consistently high standards set by other RedDoorz establishments. On a more positive note, the hotel's central location in Pardo was undoubtedly a highlight of my stay. Positioned conveniently, RedDoorz Pardo provided easy access to local attractions, eateries, and transportation hubs, making it an ideal base for those keen on exploring the vibrant surroundings. Despite the initial hiccup with the amenities, the air conditioning in the room functioned impressively well. The cool and comfortable environment it created was a welcome relief, especially during the warmer parts of the day. This positive aspect significantly contributed to the overall satisfaction of my short stay. In conclusion, RedDoorz Pardo offers a satisfactory option for a brief stay, with its prime location compensating for the absence of certain expected amenities. While the oversight in providing basic toiletries was a drawback, the efficient air conditioning and convenient locale make it a viable choice for travelers eager to explore the attractions in the Pardo area. RedDoorz Pardo has the potential to enhance its guest experience by ensuring that its offerings align with the consistent standards upheld by other RedDoorz facilities, thus providing guests with the familiar and reliable experience they associate with the brand.

This is a homestay, near the pier to the sea, walk in, there are 7-11 and McDonald's, the location can also be cleaned every day, but there is no toothbrush, you have to prepare this yourself, there is a public swimming pool, the environment is OK Breakfast is okay, it ’s calculated by head. I do n’t know if I can order one more. I was in a hurry to catch the boat and leave. Overall, the price is good, but I live on the first floor. There are a lot of mosquitoes!
Aosmec Square Hotel

First I must say that my GF and I have stayed at about 10 hotels on Lapu-Lapu Island. All budget or mid-range priced. All in the last 6 months. The AOSMEC is the lowest priced of the group. All other hotels were 2 to 3 times the price of AOSMEC. The simple truth is that my one week stay at the AOSMEC was the best!!!. Yes it is a basic Hotel with no frills or a pool. But if that's what you are looking for? This hotel is simply perfect. PROS: WIFI speed is extremely good since every floor as it's own router. The hotel is extremely clean. It simply is irreproachable. You always see someone cleaning morning to night. Cable TV is very good with brand new TV'S This hotel is Familly owned by phillipino's and they make sure clients are happy. So any issue that might come up. Is dealt with very quickly and correctly. The room cleaning is upon request but just ask and it's done quickly and perfectly! The owners completely understand what a budget traveller needs and they don't overcharge. You can get anything you need on a ”a la carte” basis. Example: we got some laundry done. The price was about 15% higher then doing it ourselves at a laundramat self serve service. If you factor in tranportion cost to get to and from the laundromat. It's less expensive through the hotel. WOW! The clientele is a mix of locals and foreigners. And all are happy with the rooms and services received. The hotel is soo well managed that it is expanding. About 20 rooms are being added. AND THESE ROOMS ARE NICER! 5 Rooms are 95% completed. I visited one. Cons: the restaurant is basic. It's geared more torwards the local clientele. But there are many good restaurants within walking distance and this should not be a concern. There is also a convenience store right next to the hotel. Not even 30 seconds away. It is about 30 minutes away from the airport. Taxis are a bit more scarce but with the Grab app.(like Huber) that issue goes away. This place is the perfect budget hotel that actually beats out most mid range hotels at 3x the price. Dont hesitate and book. No worries here. Do not hesitate in.booking here. You won't regret

my friends and i had errands in cebu city and we needed to stay overnigt. i already had email interaction with the admin saying that there are 3 of us and we want win beds and an extra bed. When we checked in, they strongly suggested 2 bunk beds and i said NO to that. when i said NO, the receptionist looked irritated. She was impolite in conversation and i had to say ”good afternoon” first. She does not smile and rolls her eyes which i do not really like. anyway, the rest of the staff were really nice and accommodating. The housekeeping guys were kind and quick to help us with what we need and the lady in the kitchen wad nice. it still was a good experience. i just wish that receptionist will find ways to look at life a positive way and find joy so she can spread joy as well.

The cheapest hotel I could find. Stayed for 15 days. The rooms was on 4th floor nice and clean. I say rooms because halfway through our stay our air conditioning unit gave out so we were relocated(for free) to another room. The employees were all kind and willing to help with everything we needed. Location is nice. Almost next to Ayala mall and the general area is safe and easy to navigate/find transport in the form of either jeepney or bus. Decor is a bit gloomy and outdated. That beige on the walls is the only thing I disliked. It is by no means a 5 star hotel but it's a bargain for its price(15 euros a night) anyone would be stupid to pass. I recommend it to everyone who want to visit Cebu on a budget. We didn't taste their kitchen or visit the gym they have.

This hidden gem is indeed a great find! We were welcomed by the owner himself. Gave us the necessary details upon check in. He is always a call away. The rooms were new, very clean, aircon was freezing cold! Beds are comfortable, clean, crisp and nice smelling linens. Purified water is available for a very reasonable price. I love it that we can cook as they provide rice cooker, electric kettle and a four burner gas range. Best of all, there's the sea right in front of you when you step out from your unit. Amazing view, amazing host, amazing staff! Will definitely book here everytime we will go to Dalaguete for a quick beach getaway! ^^

Sf Cantina

Bantayan
We fell in love in this precious resort with cosy bungalows and very friendly staff. SF Cantina is situated 10 min walking distance from Santa Fe city. They offer great accomodation to affordable prices just a few steps from the white sandy beach. The service is fantastic, staff is so kind-hearted and help out with everything you need. We stayed in the bungalow with balcony closest to the beach. The bedroom was very nice with bamboo bed and there were enough space for clothes and stuff. There was a TV but we never turned it on. AC was in order, but a bit noisy. Cleaning was excellent. We saw a few cockroaches, there always are in these areas, nothing to complaint about. Bed was comfortable, there was warm water in the cute shower. Wifi was available, sometimes more, sometimes less in the bungalow, but around eating area it worked during all of our stay. Breakfast was basic but enough. You could also order food any time. The bar was open until about 22:00. Staff organized boat trips, scooter renting, and other tours, we warmly recommend this place and will come back here again uf visiting Bantayan again. Big thank you to the staff, you were all fantastic ❤️ Tina & Damir

It’s all about expectations here. The price is very low (we paid <15USD for a twin room), so don’t expect a Ritz Carlton experience, you get a room with the basics – that’s it. Our standard room was of adequate size, had no windows, a TV with many satellite stations, an individual AC that was adjustable in temperature (other reviews said it isn’t). The bed was a bit hard but manageable. Sheets and pillow covers were clean. The superior rooms may have windows, but that can also mean that you have street noise. Internet speed was quite ok. You need to ask for a voucher which is good for 24hrs and one device only. We got two vouchers, maybe you can get more if you ask. The staff at the reception was professional and helpful, not overly friendly but definitely not unfriendly, as some other reviewers commented. They happily gave us information on what Jeepney numbers to use and provided us with an adaptor for the wall plug. All AC outlets in the hotel are US style flat prong. Note that you are required to leave a 1000 Peso cash security deposit upon check-in. There are several signs that explain that you won’t get the deposit back if you smoke in your room. No issue for us, we got the money back as soon as housekeeping confirmed the room was OK when we checked out. The lobby looks very old and run down, again: this is not the Ritz. There are some tables and you can order food and drinks, the AC is nice and cold though. but it’s not a place you want to spend any more time than absolutely needed. The do keep luggage for safekeeping when you check out, don’t know for how long though we only needed it for a few hours. The location of the Hotel is in a busy part of town that is somewhat rundown, but we never felt unsafe – even at night, when we walk around looking for a place to have dinner. There’s a 24hr Metro supermarket around the corner too. Overall this place is good to stay for one night on your way in or out of Cebu, especially if you travel to/from the southern bus terminal. BTW: “Nuat Thai” around the corner has good 1hr massages for 200Peso.
