"Three lights were out (one flickering, two completely off), making the room quite dim. The window film had many reflective holes, and the room felt a bit different from what was advertised. The staff initially gave us the wrong room key, but they came to fix it within half an hour, and their service attitude was very good. However, the hotel really needs to improve its equipment maintenance. Vicotr Harbour itself is beautiful though."

"The hotel is in a good location and the surrounding environment is also good, but the decoration and facilities of the hotel itself are extremely average. We have stayed in no less than 40 hotels in Australia in 10 years. This is the first time we have to wait for a quarter of an hour to return the deposit after checking the room. I think this practice should have been many years ago. For such a high room rate, the service is like this. Nothing to say. I will not stay there again."

"The hotel is conveniently located about 10 to 15 mins walk across parklands from East Terrace in the city which is where most of the popular restaurants and cafes are. During our stay, the preparation for the V8 car races was ongoing and many of the roads were blocked off. But finding a detour was easy enough. The hotel has limited onsite parking but there are plenty of spaces in the quiet residential streets behind the hotel. The hotel’s reception also manages the Econo Lodge Hotel which is located across the street and has its own parking. We only stayed for 1 night and did not get to try the restaurant onsite. The rooms layouts were not exactly rectangular but they were big enough to accommodate a king and a single bed and a pull out bed from under the single bed. A good and unusual feature was a power point built into the bed side cabjnet which works well for those with a need to use CPAP machines or for charging devices. There was a study/work table in the room that is useful for business travellers."

"Great place for those who want a place to stay. I stayed there for 2 nights, and the experience is very good. Staffs were very friendly, especially Miss Sophia. I also get to chat with other fellow travelers and whv holders in the common room (indoor) and space (outdoor). The kitchen is spacious and very accessible to those who wants to cook (almost) 24/7; the kitchen is closed for a couple of hours for them to prepare for dinner (first come first serve) (and it also have free breakfast too). Overall, would come to stay if I need to stay for a couple of nights."

"This was my second time staying at the Lincoln Inn on my return trip, and the experience was just as good. The supermarket across the street is incredibly convenient. It was a lifesaver during my stay. The room was comfortable, and the temperature was just right that day, so I didn't even need to use the air conditioning."

The location is excellent, with a McDonald's right across the street and major supermarkets like Coles nearby. It offers fantastic value for money, especially during holidays. The Hotel Windsor, Melbourne (Worst value for money) The Park Hyatt Melbourne stood out as having the best service among all 11 hotels. We arrived around 5:00 PM and were informed our room wasn't quite ready, requiring a 10-15 minute wait. Before I could even react, the front desk staff immediately offered complimentary breakfast for the next day as an apology, along with a voucher for two drinks at the lobby bar while we waited. Of course, we happily accepted! The hotel's location is a little outside the very center, situated behind Parliament House and right next to St. Patrick's Cathedral, which you can see from the rooms. Fitzroy Gardens, home to Cook's Cottage, is also within walking distance and worth a visit. I was very impressed with the hotel's amenities. The room even had a three-prong power outlet, a feature I didn't find in any other hotel. The 'old money' decor gave it a grounded and understated elegance. Breakfast was excellent and very extensive, with freshly made Western pastries that were incredibly delicious. I heard their flat white is even better than those from popular specialty coffee shops. The heated pool was long and narrow, feeling like it was definitely more than 25 meters. There's also a tennis court available for A$50 an hour, though you need to bring your own racket."
