This was by far the best hotel/guesthouse experience we had during our trip to Yunnan. The room came with a Xiao AI smart speaker, the bathroom was clean, and the water pressure was excellent. They also offer airport pick-up and drop-off, which is perfect for guests catching early flights the next day. On the day we checked in, they even gave us complimentary flower cakes. Employee number 666 provided amazing service!

Really enjoyed our stay we ended up extending our stay by one day and decide to return to it after our 3 day shangrila trip. It’s become our home away from home. The concierge is so sweet and helpful. I added them on WeChat before my trip to do my Taobao haul and they picked up and stored all my packages and then took them to our room. They helped us take our luggage up and downstairs, answer all of our questions. Amazing friendly staff. The room is super clean, and the view of the mountain is half the reason we booked and didn’t disappoint. Floor to ceiling window on 4th floor was so nice. Shower pressure is amazing, hot water comes quickly. Bath products smell awesome, and Dyson hairdryer and the towel is so nice and absorbent! The beds are very comfy that my friend can’t stop commenting on it! And for me everything felt just right that I got to comfortably fall asleep. Beddings were very comfortable, soft to the skin, blankets are warm with nice weight. There were also two different pillows to pick from and the gel feeling one was so easy to sleep on. And all the buttons near the nightstand to open the curtains both blackout and privacy, different lights and heater/ac was very convenient! I get to turn off everything with a touch of a button. There was a giant humidifier in the room that can last all night and more, small fridge with different drinks for free including my fav Perrier sparkling water. First night there we joined for the yak butter tea ceremony and met the owner and some of the other guests around the table. They had a lot of snacks out and also hand churned the butter tea and showed us how to do it as well. The owner also brought out ice wine from shangrila to share and was delicious as well. Awesome time. For breakfast, there are two aunties who made our breakfast fresh with delicious chicken bone soup that I slurped up right away, the local specialty noodle which was surprisingly delicious that I also slurped up even though I was trying to do lower carbs. My friend loved their porridge and their pickled veggies with it. The dining room is on the top floor with a balcony on the outside and floor to ceiling windows looking out. And we got to see the golden sunrise mountain while we enjoyed our delicious breakfast. The afternoon tea platter is lovely too! I’m also really excited to try the different teas when we get back. Location is close to old town but not inside of it so cars can drive underneath. Was easy for pickup for our different tours. Also easy to walk to old town as well.

Had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless and well-maintained, the bedding was super comfy, and the bath towels were so soft. The staff were all incredibly polite, and you could tell they paid attention to every little detail. It's a very photogenic place, and the service was outstanding – they really went above and beyond to help with anything we needed.

The best hotel host goes to Ah Fei. Based on the reviews, they are true..he is very helpful and easy to deal with. He helped us to arrange for transportation from train to hotel, welcomed us with the warm tea, gave us slippers for kids and attentive to our needs. Aside from that, the hotel room itself is also okay. It’s located almost in front of Chagee (malaysians would love this). There’s also washing machine and dryer for use so it’s convenient for travellers. It’s also near to the north gate of Lijiang Ancient City, so it’s easy for pick up and drop off if you want to Didi.

The host greeted us with peeled apples, which was very refreshing after a long journey and we arrived late at niaht so it was verv helpful to calm our stomachs. They also helped us bring the luggages (we brought a lot and was very heavy ). The location is very steategic, super close to Lijiang Old Town and the environment is very quiet so it's super comfortable. Even though the accessibility is quite difficult especially for families with elders, but the hosts were super helpful and always available and ready to help 😊 Thank vou so much, host. The room was super warm too despite the cold weather outside. And the view from my room was really beautiful too

This review is similar to the one above because I booked two packages—a two-day, one-night stay and a one-day stay—totaling three nights, and I had a fantastic experience. The hotel's overall service, facilities, value for money, and location are all excellent. If I visit Kunming again, I'll definitely stay here. The hotel also perfectly balances human-centered service with self-service options. Not only are there two self-service laundry rooms with washer-dryers, but drinking water is also conveniently placed on tables near the elevator on each floor. Guests can simply grab it when needed, which saves the hassle of constantly calling the front desk for delivery and prevents the hotel's little robots from being overworked! 😂

It was a wonderful stay! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a beautiful view. All amenities were available, and the building felt extremely safe with secure access and security. The host was very friendly and responsive at all times. The price is excellent compared to others, and the location is great ..close to cafés and a nearby park. Highly recommended! 🌟

We truly enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel, especially the beautifully preserved ancient architecture, which gave the place a unique charm and character. The room was thoughtfully furnished with a wonderful colour scheme, and every detail—from the lighting to the overall layout—was well designed and comfortable. Cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and they kindly showed us the room with the bathtub, which immediately confirmed our decision to extend our stay for another night. We also loved spending time in the courtyard and appreciating the landscaping, which added to the calm and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this boutique hotel perfectly met our needs for relaxation and for appreciating traditional architecture and courtyard design.

Our stay in this luxury bedroom suite was a memorable experience, largely due to the exceptional accommodations. The suite itself was nothing short of spectacular—incredibly spacious and warmly appointed. The layout was impeccably designed, featuring a foyer, a living area, a comfortable bedroom, and a walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom was a highlight, with a separate water closet, a vanity area with a deep-soaking bathtub, and a separate, spacious double shower room. The private outdoor sitting area that led to a huge, rejuvenating hot spring was the crown jewel of the suite. It's important to note the location within the Dong Feng Yun Scenic Area. A significant benefit is that the hotel provides the scenic area entrance ticket and transport to and from the gate, which is excellent. However, its setting means it is quite far from Jianshui's Old Town and other key locations. This can be inconvenient when you wish to visit other spots or find dining options outside the hotel. A major logistical issue we encountered was with return trips. When trying to get back to the hotel, most taxi drivers requested a top-up payment, as they would have to return to the city center without a passenger. Service at the hotel was generally good; the staff were prompt and attentive upon our arrival and throughout our stay. However, we noted a noticeable drop in attentiveness during the checkout process. A minor point to note is the centralized A/C system, which meant we couldn't control the room temperature individually. That said, the provision of a standing fan was a thoughtful and effective solution. The food at the hotel's restaurant was acceptable, though it didn't quite match the exceptional standard of the suite itself. Overall, this is a truly magnificent property for the space and privacy it offers, but its remote location requires careful planning and extra budget for transportation.

Excellent! Location: The hotel is also known as Xinyin Guan Inn. It has a lovely café near the lobby with a beautiful view of the old city. Cars can access a drop-off point about a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is located on a hill, offering wonderful views, yet it is still convenient to walk to the old town via the stairs beside the hotel (approximately 10–15 minutes on foot). Service: The service was excellent. The staff can speak a little Thai, and they created a WeChat group to provide information, assistance, and recommendations. I asked for a local food recommendation, and they suggested wild mushroom hot pot, which is a very special local dish. They also helped me book a table and gave me a complimentary dish of golden mushroom sashimi (which I loved!). Room: Everything was exactly as shown in the photos. There is a smart device called Xiao Du Xiao Du, which you can use to control various functions in the room. I really liked it.
