Hotels With Wi-Fi in Antofagasta, Chile

From the moment I arrived at the Diego de Almagro Hotel, the atmosphere felt unmistakably desert-like. The colors, the vibe, the arcades, and the traditional roof all suggested the spirit of the Atacama. The property is spacious, and with all rooms at ground level, it avoids that “industrial hotel” impression entirely. There is a large swimming pool at the center, framed by trees typical of northern Chile. My room faced the pool and was very well equipped, even featuring a smart TV. Breakfast offered plenty of variety, including cooked options like empanadas, and it was served in a rustic-style restaurant. The reception team were all very kind. The location of the hotel is also excellent—right in the center of San Pedro de Atacama, ideal for exploring the town on foot. The only downside was that the WiFi didn’t reach my room, though it worked well in the outdoor areas. In the end, I didn’t mind much, as I enjoyed spending most of my time outside anyway.

All the service staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially Yaz, Lydia and also the 2 gentleman at the front desk. The hotel is like a 15-25mjns walk from the ‘center’ of the town. However. You can easily ask the front desk to help get a taxi service at 4000 CLP. I like the clean room, the layout of the hotel it’s very spacious, and very quiet and peaceful. However as it’s a new hotel, they are just starting to build a swimming pool. The kitchen is not fully opened during lunch and dinner time. However during our stay, the restaurant was opened for dinner. And o had the opportunity of having a wine tasting one night. The Sommelier Camillo was such a joy to talk to and he has educated me so much on Chilean wine. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come back again. The only problem I have is there’s no kettle though Yaz has always helped to bring us hot water when we bring a flask. And also there’s no tissues in the room

Great hotel just 5 mins away from airport. Comfortable stay, have a nice restaurant that serves full fledged food, with a nice welcome drink from the bar!

The room is a bit small. There is no place to put the big suitcase when it is opened. It can only be placed at the door. It is inconvenient to get in and out. The distance between the table and the bed is small. Pulling out the chair can touch the bed, which is inconvenient. The soundproofing is not very good. You can hear water being discharged from other rooms and flushing the toilet. The air conditioner is not powerful and the sound is still loud. I can only sleep with earplugs. Breakfast is okay, but you can only eat it at 7 o'clock. You can't eat when you go out. I don't know if others have experienced taking it away. The hotel has a restaurant, but the price is too expensive. There is no English menu and the waiter does not speak English. It is inconvenient. I think the only advantage is that there is a big supermarket opposite, where you can buy some food without having to go to restaurants all the time. There was an incident when I went there. We had a car, and I went to the front desk to ask where I could park. Of course I stayed here, but the front desk gave me directions to the supermarket parking lot, but that was a public parking lot, which was famous in the local area. I broke the window and grabbed something. After checking in, the front desk told me that the hotel had its own parking lot and drove the car over. Hey, I think this is very bad. Why not just drive to the hotel parking lot and then check in? It's very inconvenient.

The environment is good, stayed for a few days. not bad. Breakfast is also ok, although some are not used to it. Overall it is very good. More comfortable. Looking at the sea. Also more beautiful

The service and location are great. The reception is very friendly and try their best to address our concerns/ queries. The room is basic but comfortable enough. Heating pads kept us warm during the night although the gas heater is on from 7 to 10pm only.

I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Styles in Antofagasta very much. The whole staff is super friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are not too small and not too big. I appreciate the environmental concept of the hotel, where they advise guests how to save water and do their part for the planet, and yet nothing is missing from the comfort. I could rest very well in the cozy bed with the soft sheets. The breakfast buffet offers everything one needs for a great start in the day. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

Hôtel au calme avec de très beaux aménagements extérieurs et intérieurs. La chambre et la salle de bain sont très spacieuses, bien décorées et très bien équipées (avec notamment la climatisation). Chaque chambre a une vue dégagée sur le jardin aménagé et l'isolation phonique est bonne. L'hôtel dispose de 5 piscines (dont une grande), un peu vétustes mais restant très agréables après une journée dans le désert. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. L'emplacement est excentré mais l'hôtel propose un service gratuit de navettes très pratique avec une conductrice très sympathique. Seul bémol : le personnel à la réception a été peu conciliant et accueillant (nous sommes arrivés un peu en avance sur l'heure du check in et avons dû attendre pendant plus d'une heure, l'heure officielle du check in (15h) sans que personne ne nous prévienne de la disponibilité de notre chambre).

Homely lodging. We picked this place for its quietness. It can be a little out of the way, but as we drive it wasnt a problem.shuttle service to town is provided at intervals. Service was sub-par as there were some gaps in what i would consider as being hospitable. There's a small pool and hammock to lounge around, if the weather is right. What light up my day was the dogs/cats staying there. Good place for animal lovers. :)
