This was my first trip to Harbin, and I booked a riverside hotel near the Songhua River on Ctrip. My stay at the Harbin Habsburg River View Hotel (St. Sophia Church branch) was overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the service and breakfast. From the greeters and front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was consistently described as 'warm, attentive, and caring,' making it feel just like home. They even offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, which truly showed how thoughtful and considerate the hotel is. The breakfast was incredibly rich and featured local specialties. What really stood out was the long serving time, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy it as a brunch – a luxury usually only found in international resort hotels. The variety was impressive, including Northeastern dishes like 'kill-pig' stew, chicken stew with mushrooms, 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), iron pot stew, frozen pears, and Kvas, along with Lanzhou beef noodles, wontons, tofu pudding, and big bone stews. The hotel's location is also excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk (500 meters) to Central Street, the Flood Control Monument, and the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Market are within a 2-kilometer walk. Directly across from the hotel is the entrance to the Songhua River Cableway. We stayed on the 11th floor in a high-level river view room, offering distant views of the river and Swan Castle. The night view was truly beautiful. The room was well-equipped with a humidifier (essential in dry Northeast China), heated eye masks, sleep earplugs, a foot bath, bath salts, and charging cables. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and snacks daily, and the bottled water was from Quanyangquan. This hotel is a 'service-driven' choice offering excellent value for money. With its thoughtful service, abundant breakfast, and convenient location, the Habsburg is definitely worth choosing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Harbin and would even recommend it to friends.

I came to Harbin for a music festival and decided to do some sightseeing as well. After a long search, I skipped the usual five-star hotels and chose this Russian-style one instead. Turns out, it was a brilliant choice! The hotel's location is excellent. Just a couple of hundred meters to the right, and you're on the main street of Central Avenue – a quiet spot that's still close to all the action. The subway station is easily accessible by walking through Zhaolin Park. What truly stood out was the hotel's decor; I absolutely loved its strong artistic ambiance, with exquisite and opulent Russian palace-style details everywhere. The breakfast was fresh, the afternoon tea was delightful, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be recommending this place to all my friends visiting Harbin. The value for money is just fantastic!

Due to work, I travel a lot across the country and stay in many hotels.麗怡 (Liyi) is consistently one of the best value-for-money options without any major drawbacks. I even book them for my parents when they travel alone, as it's so hassle-free. This time, I stayed with my parents in a family room at their Sophia branch. The hotel is relatively new, right at the entrance of Central Street, and very convenient for taxis, which can pull right up to the entrance. What's truly remarkable is how quiet it is, despite being so close to a tourist area. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's delicious. The beds and pillows in the room were very comfortable, and the cleanliness was excellent. There was a slight hiccup when booking, as the initial room type wasn't quite what I wanted, but the hotel staff were very proactive in resolving it. From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently warm and attentive. My parents were very satisfied and comfortable, and we'll definitely be back. Our trip was a bit rushed, so I didn't take many photos, but their official pictures are quite accurate.

Harbin was the last stop on our road trip. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from Saint Sophia Cathedral. The room was spacious and well-equipped, clean and hygienic. The most unexpected bonus was the parking lot in the back, which was incredibly convenient. Both the front desk and cleaning staff provided excellent service! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Incredible value for money! Highly recommend!

This is the first five-star review I've given a hotel all year. The hotel is right next to Central Street and very close to the Central Street subway station. There are plenty of dining options around the hotel, and of course, Central Street itself is great for shopping, so the location is excellent. But these are secondary; the hotel's overall service and facilities were truly impressive. The staff's warm service and the perfect facilities left a deep impression on me. Even though we only had one suitcase, the doorman helped us carry it all the way to our room. The room wasn't huge, but it was very well-equipped, especially the fully automatic toilet. The shower pressure was excellent, and the water temperature was just right. The quality of the dental kit was also very good; I even took a new set home. Besides the buffet, it seems there are also special daily offerings for breakfast, and afternoon tea is provided. The room was also very quiet, which was a huge plus. This will definitely be my top choice when I visit Harbin again.

Not my first time staying in this hotel. We'll, would like to say that this time it was above all of my expectations. The room was super clean and the music in a bathroom was nice as usual, but the most unbelievably incredible things was that I got an upgrade from the guys in the reception. The facilities are modern, clean, and meet general expectations. Although the room isn't huge, it's fully equipped and I'm very satisfied. The thoughtful design and layout completely met my high standards for accommodation quality, even for someone as picky as me. While the window view isn't great, it perfectly satisfies the need for a good night's sleep – after all, I'm not here to gaze at the scenery from the hotel. The breakfast selection can cater to above-average needs and is highly recommended. PS: The essential oil scent of the hand soap is wonderful! They even provided Red Sausage from Li Dao and a Modern brand popsicle. Each floor has a water bottle dispenser by the elevator for guests to take, and the room also comes with complimentary Coke and Sprite. The attention to detail is impressive! I just had to write a glowing review! Hope it stays this way!

Let's start with the hotel's location, which is excellent. Turn right out of the hotel and you're on Central Street within 20 meters. Turn left and walk a few hundred meters to the popular Hongzhuan Morning Market. It's about 2 kilometers from St. Sophia Cathedral, the Flood Control Monument, the riverside cable car, and the cruise ship terminal, where you can take a boat to Sun Island. There are many old, highly-rated restaurants nearby; I highly recommend Lao Chu Fang (Old Kitchen) for its amazing dishes, and it's just dozens of meters from the hotel, making it very convenient. The highlight, however, is the hotel itself, which is steeped in history. It's a protected cultural relic, a century-old mansion that seamlessly blends modern amenities with its historical charm. Staying here, you get to experience its rich past while enjoying contemporary comfort and convenience. This trip was a self-driving tour with four childhood friends and our mothers. The hotel's butler-style service made us feel right at home from arrival to check-out. Given the hotel's prime location, parking is scarce and managed by the city with separate fees. I had informed the front desk beforehand that we were traveling with four elderly ladies. To my surprise, upon arrival, a helpful staff member (a handsome young man!) immediately assisted with our luggage, helped us check in, and escorted us to our rooms. Similarly, at check-out, they helped load our luggage into the car. The front desk staff (a lovely young lady) even arranged a parking spot for us in advance. Overall, my friends and our mothers unanimously praised our stay at Hotel 1903, saying it was wonderful, and we'll definitely stay here again next time.
