"Highly recommended! I'll definitely choose Habsburg again next time I'm in Harbin! The location is great, within walking distance to Central Street, and right across from the cable car and Songhua River. Subway Line 3 is right outside the hotel, super convenient. I chose the 120° room, which offered a partial view of the Songhua River. The stay was very comfortable, the bathroom was large, and what I loved most was the shower pressure – absolutely fantastic! The service was excellent, especially breakfast! The restaurant is wonderful, with a great ambiance and complete facilities. All the staff in the restaurant were incredibly warm and enthusiastic, a hundred times better than the service I experienced at other places these past few days! During the National Day holiday, they even gifted 3D printed yogurt to my child every day. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious; staying for three days, there was something different every day, which was great. The parking lot is a bit small, but there are security guards who help find spots, which is excellent. Comparing it to other hotels during my trip to Northeast China over the National Day holiday, Habsburg had the best service, especially suitable for family travel. Oh, and there's a gym, a laundry room, a billiards table, and even a play area for kids. They have queen costumes, but I didn't get to try them this time – next time! There's also afternoon tea with some snacks and drinks. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends."

"My spouse and I, as independent travelers, have explored many cities and generally had good experiences. Our first trip of '26 brought us to Harbin in Heilongjiang, Northeast China – the farthest we've traveled in over seventy years. We were quite apprehensive about coming to Harbin: first, the long journey and potential for a bumpy ride; second, the cultural differences between North and South, and whether we'd adapt. Despite these concerns, an inner drive pushed us to try it, leading to this Harbin trip! After buying our sleeper train tickets to Harbin, we started searching for hotels online. Ctrip recommended Manman B&B to us, and after staying for two days, we felt very satisfied. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and conveniently located with a bus stop right outside. The customer service was exceptionally responsive to all our requests, making us, two seniors totaling 143 years old, feel warmly welcomed. Because of this, we even extended our stay in Harbin by an extra day. Harbin is truly wonderful! The people of Harbin are even better! Harbin is getting better and better!"

"(This is absolutely, 100% genuine and I'm so touched!!!) My boyfriend and I traveled together, and we only booked this hotel in Xuexiang the night before, but it turned out to be the luckiest decision I made on this trip! Shortly after booking, they assigned us an incredibly enthusiastic butler! From travel itinerary planning to basic hotel services, he was almost always online 24/7. He explained all the activities available in the scenic area, customized our route based on our preferences, helped us book all our tickets, and even arranged our return transportation to Harbin, considering the heavy snow might block roads. Ahhh, seriously, if we had any questions or didn't know where to go, we could ask him and he'd reply instantly! So cool! When we got back to the hotel at 11 PM, the hotel restaurant was closed, and there was no delivery service in Xuexiang. But our butler first prepared frozen pears, frozen persimmons, and other fruits for us, and then went out into the snow, checking multiple stores to get us dinner 🥹 (He truly anticipated all our needs and proactively recommended more cost-effective options – he's seriously so genuine 🥹) The hotel restaurant service was also excellent; the dishes were incredibly fresh and delicious! Today was so much fun! We saw thick snow, snow mushrooms, visited **Qiang's house, watched Northeast Errenzhuan (a local folk art), rode snow tubes on Bangchui Mountain, participated in a 'down jacket disco,' and embraced under the fireworks! "Overall, this was the best hotel of our trip to Northeast China. It truly lives up to its rating and feels genuinely upscale. Many hotels in the Northeast have high star ratings that they fail to deliver on, but this one pays great attention to detail. The cleanliness is exceptional, and every floor has a very pleasant, soothing fragrance. The staff are well-educated and have a wonderful attitude, proactively helping with luggage. It’s not just the typical casual warmth of the Northeast, but a high level of professionalism that clearly comes from proper training. They even gave us farewell souvenirs at the end. The hotel is in a great location—just a few minutes' walk to Central Street (Zhongyang Street) with plenty of dining options nearby. The room is very quiet and sensibly laid out, featuring a luggage storage area and a large, spotless bathroom. The facilities are fully equipped, and the bathrobe is extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic; although the dining space isn't very large, it offers a combination of set meals and a buffet. We had the beef noodles, pumpkin soup, and a salmon sandwich. Breakfast runs until 10:00 AM, and afternoon tea starts right at 11:00 AM. Snacks are available in the lobby at all times, and there is a lovely little courtyard where you can swing on a hammock/swing, sit at a small table for great photo ops, or just relax and enjoy some tea. The only minor drawback is that the laundry room is a bit small and messy, and for some reason, our clothes wouldn't dry properly. We hope they can improve this. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time. Highly recommended!"

"The room was super clean and the hotel facilities were top-notch. Housekeeping did an amazing job. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming and good-looking. They constantly replenished the warm little cookies and snacks, and offered a great variety of coffee and fruit tea. The location is fantastic and very convenient for getting around. Exit 1 of Metro Line 2 is right across the street, and just two right turns (about 100 meters' walk) will get you to Central Avenue (Zhongyang Street). I stayed for two consecutive days and had a wonderful experience and impression. The breakfast was hygienic, clean, and offered a wide variety with over a dozen choices."

"The hotel has a great environment, is very clean, and offers attentive service. Both the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. It is the best and most comfortable hotel we stayed at during our trip to Northeast China. There is a small courtyard at the back for parking, which is very convenient for road-trippers. It is also very close to St. Sophia Cathedral—just a few minutes' walk away. There are many snack bars in the surrounding area, making dining very convenient. I have to make this review before the winter ends because this homestay deserves all the guests coming to snow town and snow valley. The hospitality of the owners is beyond imagination, i’m not kidding! They have been extremely helpful in guiding us throughout our travel to snow town and snow valley. We communicate using a translator but it still feels like speaking with a friend. Don’t hesitate to ask questions regarding your trip and the activities that you want to do. As for us, we booked a 3d/2n stay with them. They helped us maximize our itinerary as well. 2 nights before our tour, the owner gave us the number of bus driver. We paid the bus tickets in advance. Day 1 8am-2pm - Bus from Harbin to Snow Town (Xuexiang). We left our luggages in the bus. Tickets bought at the entrance. Dont worry about prebooking. Play in Snow Town until 8pm. 8pm - Bus ride from Snow Town to Snow Valley. The bus driver already knows where to drop us. At the bus stop, we were fetched by car and brought to the inn (~2 min ride). Day 2 9am-4pm Play at Guoxiongling Bear Ridge. For 400rmb/pax, we went up the mountain by snowmobile. We played banana boat drift, snowmobile, some went skiing and a super amazing view! There were also fun group activities! :) Note: The owner gave us drone videos of ourselves and took pictures of us. He also brought his insta360 and gave us copies of group activities videos. You can also use this during the banana boat drift which would look awesome with insta360. The owner is also a licensed ski instructed but my husband didn’t want to ski so there’s that. Haha. We went down around 3pm by snowmobile. At 5pm, we ordered dinner from their restaurant. The Northeastern Fish Stew is amazing!! Try it and thank me later. After dinner we did the hot water in ice trick for Free! We also had fun talking about traveling and sharing stories of our pets, while having tea, frozen persimmons, peach and sunflower seeds. 🥰 Day 3 Departure date. Bus leaves at 6am and 9am. They booked the bus for us back to harbin. I wish we could have stayed longer! Room we stayed had a heated Kang bed. The floor had heating too. Toiletries are complete with indoor slippers. Breakfast serving is large! The room is clean, with water heater. On top of that, it’s 1/10th of the price of snow town accommodations. Snow village offers a unique experience away from the glittery lights and sounds of snow town. It is both peaceful and charming. Thank you Liu Bo and your husband for the awesome stay we had. We truly appreciate it! Thank you for the surprise and gifts as well! :) We hope to see you soon again!

We chose this hotel for our trip to Yabuli, and its location is fantastic. There are plenty of recreational activities right within the resort. Our stay was excellent; the room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was super comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was very efficient. The environment is quiet, and overall, it offers good value for money. Plus, the sightseeing cable car offers beautiful views, and the Rainbow Flying Carpet is exciting and fun! Highly recommend!

The guesthouse has an incredible vibe. Opening the window reveals thick, pristine snow, and the wooden cabin feels so cozy and healing. The hot water is consistent, the heating is ample, and the bedding is clean and soft, making for a great night's sleep. The owner is exceptionally thoughtful—always available to help, taught us how to take the boiling water-to-ice splash photos, and helped us avoid tourist traps. The meals consist of authentic local home-cooked dishes, which taste fantastic. Free from over-commercialization, it's peaceful and quiet, perfect for slowly soaking in the snowy scenery of Snow Valley. Overall, it offers great value for money and is sincerely recommended.

My stay here was great! The front desk staff were really friendly and efficient with the check-in process, which was a nice touch. I chose the 120° room, which offered a partial view of the Songhua River. The stay was very comfortable, the bathroom was large, and what I loved most was the shower pressure – absolutely fantastic! The service was excellent, especially breakfast! The restaurant is wonderful, with a great ambiance and complete facilities. All the staff in the restaurant were incredibly warm and enthusiastic, a hundred times better than the service I experienced at other places these past few days! During the National Day holiday, they even gifted 3D printed yogurt to my child every day. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious; staying for three days, there was something different every day, which was great. The parking lot is a bit small, but there are security guards who help find spots, which is excellent. Comparing it to other hotels during my trip to Northeast China over the National Day holiday, Habsburg had the best service, especially suitable for family travel. Oh, and there's a gym, a laundry room, a billiards table, and even a play area for kids. They have queen costumes, but I didn't get to try them this time – next time! There's also afternoon tea with some snacks and drinks. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Harbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly. The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon. The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price. I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing. The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games. It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel. Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

Every day since leaving Xinfu, I've been missing the sledding hill behind the lodge (it was free and unlimited!). The owner even helps guests take photoshoots like 'splashing water into ice' (he took three amazing shots for me 😎) and 'glowing with colors.' He's an incredibly skilled photographer, and those pictures instantly elevated my social media game. They also organized a session where we all made candied hawthorns together. As an extrovert, being able to chat with everyone like that was just so enjoyable! The owner also led the trip to Wusong Ridge, keeping us entertained, taking photos, and even teaching us how to ski along the way. As someone from the south, I truly got to experience the thrill of playing wildly in the snow! And of course, the accommodation itself was very unique, with a traditional heated *kang* bed, ensuring a deep sleep until morning. Waking up to hot porridge in the morning was just heavenly!
