A brisk 30min (but slightly precarious!) walk away Chipping Norton where we had evening plans. Hotel was clean and rooms comfortable. On the morning of our departure the shower was freezing and couldn’t seem to get hot water in the room at all. Apart from that the stay was pleasant.
Located in a lovely area of Oxford, it is one of the best high standard hotels in the town for people who want to stay more comfortably. Overall a great place
Having stayed at the Holiday Inn Oxford on three separate occasions now, I can wholeheartedly say it is a truly outstanding hotel and has become my firm favourite whenever I visit the area. Each stay has been consistently excellent, exceeding my expectations every time.
From the moment you walk in, the check-in process is always smooth, efficient, and handled by genuinely friendly and welcoming staff. They make you feel valued right from the start.
The rooms are consistently spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. The beds are incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep after a busy day exploring Oxford or working. The bathrooms are modern and clean, and the overall room maintenance is clearly a high priority. I've always found the rooms to be quiet, providing a peaceful environment.
What truly sets this Holiday Inn apart, in my experience, is the exceptional level of service across the board. Every staff member I've encountered, from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant team, has been professional, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. They consistently go the extra mile to ensure guests have a pleasant stay.
The hotel's facilities are great, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of tasty options to start the day right. The location is also very convenient, offering easy access without the stress of navigating the very centre of Oxford, especially if you are driving.
Based on my repeated positive experiences, I cannot recommend the Holiday Inn Oxford highly enough. It offers reliable comfort, fantastic service, and great value. It's clear they take pride in their hotel and their guests' satisfaction. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else on my future trips to Oxford!
Stayed here over Christmas as we wanted to visit Bicester village for Boxing Day sales. Found that staying here and visiting Bicester Village just after opening helped us to skip the immense queues to enter Bicester Village (not just the individual shops which also had a queue of their own) that started a few hours after opening.
- Room was very comfortable.
- Amenities were supposedly available on request at the front desk but I didn’t try this.
- 24h parking rate (starting from check in time) was £5.
- Breakfast starts at 7am and the selection was good
The hotel environment is very good. Although it is about 15 minutes' drive from the center of Oxford, it is also very convenient for tourists who drive by car.
A large lawn is next to the Tom River. It is great for running or walking in the morning.
The facilities are also new. For a British country hotel, I think it is already very good. Each room on the first floor also has a small outdoor table.
The hotel's own restaurant tastes good. The staple food is 25 pounds per portion, which is a lot, but it is a bit salty.
The only shortcoming is that I booked a king-size bed room, but the front desk gave me an ordinary standard king-size bed room. Fortunately, I can add an extra bed (15 pounds), otherwise I must have to deal with them.
Ctrip is not kind either. It charged the premium room fee for a king-size bed (nearly 1,000 more expensive) but did not do the job. The English confirmation letter says: kingbed, and the corresponding bed should be super kingsize. The hotel thinks it is kingsize, which is 1.5m in the UK, and super kingsize is 1.8m.
Nice hotel. Staff are cordial but the amenities need to be reviewed and made up to date. No landline to ring the reception for any service needed, had to go all the way downstairs to the reception to make a complaint on a toilet that’s refused to flush. Shower not working, couldn’t flush the toilet until I applied much pressure on the flush handle. Would’ve been great if the amenities are up to date (for the lack of a better word).
Junior suite perfect for family stay!
A two room accommodation with kings size bed in one room and sofa bed in the other room.
Dining table and chairs really helped a lot with room service meals.
Restaurant meals also good quality and good value.
View is of construction site but it was over the weekend so not noisy.
Great stay and recommend the room as a larger family room if the rooms with the two double beds leave no space for cots or prams.
Very satisfied with the stay experience.
The hotel is located right next to the highway exit, making it easy to find the way. The car park charges £10 a night, which is quite affordable.
The room size is also OK, with two single beds, there is enough space to open three suitcases at one time. In addition to the three-pin socket, there is also a USB charging station, which is very thoughtful.
The waiters are also professional and attentive.
The restaurant on the ground floor was overjoyed with the food. Especially the curry chicken rice is very authentic and delicious, and the portion is very generous. Great satisfaction.
The stay was quite nice !Check in was very flexible for my timing. I would suggest a little bit more cleanliness. There is a towel left on the shower room floor. Could have provided a complimentary water bottle? ( At least one for a room) Because even other normal stays provide this. But apart from this everything went nice and smooth.
Great location, in the heart of high street of Woodstock and 10 minutes walk to the gate of Blenheim Palace. The room was spacious and super clean. You got all you need and you can request fresh milk from Reception for coffee or tea. Breakfast was fantastic.

PPHYO PHYO WAI YANG YINGWe absolutely enjoyed our 3 days 2 nights stay at the graduate hotel at Oxford. We booked 2 King room bedrooms for me&my husband & my son for 2 nights. I am a little worry about 24m2 size of the bedroom might be too small for us but upon arrival and check-in, the room is just nice, very cozy and warm and very Brtish atmosphere. The arrival hall is really pleasant, they have a small cozy bar for good whisky cider and some snacks. My husband & I enjoyed our drinks at the bar, we tried their British draught cider. For the breakfast, they reserve at very beautifully designed Alica restaurant just next to the reception. Very decent English buffet. Not too crowded and very enjoyable morning breakfast.
The bed, pillow blankets are super comfortable and we had uninterrupted sleep throughout the night. The room temperature is just nice we set at 19-22 degrees.
The bathroom is not spacious but just nice for 1 person. However the bathroom floor is alittle cold as the hotel did not provide slipper. The amenities are decent shampoo/bath gel/conditioner big bottle sizes with small soap though we prefer hand gel and hand lotion as it is cold weather.
The room has a spacious corner for closet and luggage, that is very good for my husband and I.
However there's only 1 chair for reading and the light/lamp are a little dim maybe we can call it cozy [ Brtish style ].
Pros-
Fabulous location to all tourist attractions [ 5 - 10 mins walk ]
Pros-
Fabulous hotel with good hardware & software
Pros-
Restaurants & bar that open late and offer food and drinks late till 10pm
Pros-
Daily Housekeeping is very good
Pros-
Hotel offers on-site car parking service by the conceige at £48/per night , we paid £96 for 2 nights car parking, same price as London Cheval
Pros-
They only charge £1 for security deposit that's very unusual but we total appreciate it.
100% Happy & Satisfied with the stay

BBecezsiLovely hotel in a beautiful location! The riverside setting makes for a lovely view! We stayed in a spacious suite and were accommodated with an extra bed with no problem at all. Decor is a little dated and the accommodation could have been a little cleaner however, the staff were wonderful and the breakfast was great!
We would stay here again, thank you for a lovely stay!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located in the countryside, suitable for car owners, and has a unique appearance. The triple room is a suite with four beds. The room is large, the accommodation is quiet, the service is warm, the breakfast is typical British style, very good, the hotel is cost-effective, and I am generally satisfied.
SSoe Hlaing**Hotel Review: Easy Hotel Oxford**
I recently stayed at Easy Hotel Oxford, and it was a convenient and affordable choice. The check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly. The room was small but clean, with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower. While there weren’t many extras, it had everything I needed for a short stay.
The location is fantastic—close to public transport and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Perfect for exploring Oxford on a budget!
Overall, Easy Hotel Oxford is a great option if you’re looking for simplicity, cleanliness, and value for money.

AAsiyah Yu LinThis hotel is just next to the Queen's Lane bus stop. Oxford Tube, and the mega bus stop there. Therefore it is very convenient to go out and into Oxford. It is close to the University as well.
The only inconvenience is that there are steps everywhere, from the entrance to the reception, and to my room. This probably a general problem with old buildings in UK. Otherwise no other complains about the service.
The bedding are very conformable - this is definitely a highlight.
GGuest UserThis is a perfect hotel, don't know why there are no reviews? It may be newly opened, everything is perfect, we arrived late, but the counter staff were very friendly and helpful with our luggage, there is a restaurant downstairs, hungry is not a problem! The room is very clean and new, very beautiful and comfortable, just like in the picture, I am really lucky to be able to live in this kind of hotel here! There is enough parking at the door, and it only takes 20 minutes to get to Oxford. If I have a chance in the future, I will come again! There are no comments here, I am afraid that everyone will miss such a good restaurant, so come up and write a comment!
