Narmeen ShahidIt is a good one - however unlike its branch in Egypt, they didnt had shower cap, slippers, bathrub and other stuff in rooms. The staff and their service was really good. The buffet as well wasnt full of vareities as in egypt (no doughnut stand). It was an hour away from sight seeings. Beautiful lounge and bar area

Guest UserThe room was a bit small, and there wasn't enough space to open my suitcase on the floor, but the facilities were quite complete, and it was clean. The location is a bit far out, but it's well-connected by public transport. There's a direct bus to the city center right outside, and you can also walk there in about half an hour. Overall, it was decent.

marcryuGreat location, easy access to major attractions in Oxford. Love the literary theme of its interior and rooms. Service and concierge staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Our graduate twin room was surprisingly spacious and very pretty. Breakfast selections were plentiful and of good standard. Highly recommended if ever in Oxford.

Guest UserGreat for self-driving, it's right off the highway. Parking is easy with a QR code, and I've attached a picture of the overnight parking fee. If you're staying longer than 24 hours, just tell the front desk and they can waive the extra charges on their system. There's a gas station and fast food like KFC nearby. It's also convenient to get to the city center by taking the 300 bus. Both the breakfast and dinner provided were excellent.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Blenheim Palace, which is very convenient. If you are in Oxford the night before, you can stay here and go directly to Churchill Manor the next morning.
The house is an old house, but it is quite clean. Better than expected.
The only thing that is not satisfactory is the receptionist on the evening of October 5th. Her coldness makes people think that they are in Germany instead of Britain, but as a front desk receptionist, she does not even have the most basic polite greetings (such as hello, welcome) and her attitude is not like a German at all. I have never encountered such service quality in the UK, which is very unprofessional, so I choose 2 points (unsatisfied) for the service. If you don't want to spend money to see a big cold face, you can choose other hotels nearby.

Alan Ng(HKG)The location is a bit out of the way, but it's convenient if you're driving, and there's free parking. The room is huge and even has a kitchen with a view of the golf course. Breakfast is plentiful, and it's great value for money.

Close to the station and Oxford University, walking attractions are all done. The breakfast is rich and affordable. The room is also very good, spacious and comfortable. The only two dissatisfaction: 1. The old house has no elevator, there is a suitcase to move upstairs, the stairs are particularly narrow. 2. The front desk has to press the credit card 💳. I was afraid of being stolen and wanted to press cash to be rejected. I couldn't stay without giving him a visa credit card message. I was deadlocked for a while. I used the elderly card to press the message and locked the card directly. I don't know why it is so rigid.

Guest UserWe have stayed here twice. The first time (2025) we were in the block which is separate to the main building- this was OK and the service was much better.
The latest time we stayed we were in the main building- its grotty. The carpet leading to the rooms was stained and the room itself although it looked clean, didn't 'feel clean'-the place could do with a refresh and new carpets.
We were unable to get food upon arrival as they stop serving at 9pm- we arrived a couloe of minutes before 9pm after a 4 hour drive, we were disappointe and we could see a couple eating in the bar area whose meals came out long after we had arrived- so really we could have ordered and been served. We ended up ordering an Uber eats meal.
