Location is very good, not so far from main road. Close to the hote there is an restaurant and petrol ststaion. It was quite, breakfast was good. The water pressure in shower was very weak, and the window was not hermetic, so it was quite cold before switching on the heater.

Kenmore is a beautiful location and the area is a stunning area of natural beauty in Scotland. That said, having stayed at this resort before, I was disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of not only the lodges but the leisure centre. The lodge itself had peeling wall paper and chips around light switches and old frying pans, all things which are easily maintained and/or changed. The pool area is lovely but pool was cold and one of only two showers were out of order due to a cracked base in the ladies. This was a relatively cheap break but despite this I do feel the Kenmore club is looking a little shabby and in much need of an overhaul or at least some renovation to keep up with the neighbouring hotels and lodges which are more modern and well kept

I have only stayed here many times, just close to my child's school. Not very clean. The service is very warm and the food is average. A post station type hotel It is worth mentioning the garden, which has many old trees, very beautiful and spiritual.

The room is a bit old overall, but the decoration inside the hotel is still very distinctive, the breakfast is good, and the location is also very good in the city center. The downside is that the network is poor and there is no elevator (but the highest is two floors)

Very central hotel. Stayed in a twin Cosy room. Looked out to train station. Walked in and first impression was poor as the one window was filthy looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very, very long time. Room was clean but very basic. Tea & coffee in room which I like. Iron and ironing board which was good also. Parts of the hotel look dated a but tired, not like what is shown in the tv advert. Room was very hot but there was a fan in the room which was helpful as it was needed. Breakfast was delicious, I would stay again because of the location. The staff at check in were very helpful especially when I arrived and there was no space in the car park. Although we didn’t eat in the hotel it looked like they served lovely food. Live entertainment in the bar of hotel on Saturday night. Lovely courtyard area if you want to sit outside or have a walk around. All In all it was pleasant enough, I’d go back just a real shame about how filthy the bedroom window was couldn’t look out to enjoy the view.

The hotel is on the main street of Dunkeld but my room window was to the internal yard with hotel parking. Very calm location. Good size room. Very large screen TV set with Netflix. Great choice for breakfast with large portions. Very polite and helpful hotel staff.

The hotel promotes itself as Dog friendly but it only accommodated dogs in the annex bedroom. Dogs are not allowed in any part of the main hotel reception, dining area etc so it’s not really a dog friendly hotel. As owners our movements were restricted as it wasn’t appropriate to leave our dog in an unfamiliar location unsupervised as he became very distressed. Dog friendly hotels usually allow owners to bring dogs into reception areas and dining areas. If I knew this was not possible I would never have booked. On a positive note the young man Rory working in the dining room gave a great standard of service, listened to our concerns and couldn’t be anymore attentive. It is important to highlight this and obvious how hard he was working whilst we where there😀 please note the photo uploaded was taken in another local dog friendly hotel ‘Mckays’ which did actually allow dogs in the bar and communal areas as it should be.

GGuest UserThis venue is really a hidden gem up to a point , the Chef and kitchen ( paticularly the Haddock and Poached Eggs at Breakfast which is Michelin Star level ) the spa and swimming pool are kept to a good standard of hygene , however there is a serious problem with service which is evident from the staff behind the bar ( Saturday 4th May to be specific ) where it was plainly evident for all of the guests seated in the lounge to witness the grief that was being given to the Restaurant Host and other waiting staff by the two individulas behind the bar who were making their life's a misery by poor attitude and unhelpfulness when rightfully they were chasing restaurant drink orders which were painfully slow on deliverance attributed totally to the ineptness of the bar staff . Its about time that Providence Hotels boss Mr Neil Hughes and Blantyre Capital and Fairtree Alternative Real Estate were made aware of this as it is not fair on the efforts made by the other staff who are being dragged down needlessly by the bar staffs under performance , ineptness and demeanour .

GGuest UserA lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade. Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too. The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax. Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated.

GGuest User Ratings for all except service based on website. rating on SERVICE based on experience for reasons entirely out of my control, I had to cancel my stay 24hrs beforehand. I called to let them know. I advised I had to cancel and the reply was (word for word) ” ok , that's still chargeable”. NO ' I'm sorry to hear that' NO ”maybe we can find another date so you don't lose your money”... no ' we can't refund you but do you want a credit on account'. if I'd have phoned 12 hours earlier my money would have been refunded or I could have amended my booking. the blame was put on TRIP as I was told ' you booked through them and they wont help you. So I'll be avoiding this place when I go up for my trip, and I'd advise others to avoid places with staff as uninterested as here.

GGuest UserA lovely hotel in a quiet setting. Bar service was a bit slow but available most times during the day. Food service was ok. Breakfast was good… wide variety… although fruit could have been fresher, ( apple was brown). Dinner at night was ok. Entertainer was good, enjoyed his music and cheerfulness. Difficult to get a taxi on the day we left and was pouring with rain. Staff were really helpful and took us to the train for which we were really grateful! I suggest booking a cab the day before. Our room was comfortable and a good size. However the bathroom window curtains need attention. A shower curtain pinned up with press studs wasn’t appropriate for security and privacy! We would stay again.

AALEXPRIVery pleasantly surprised. Arrived to hear that they were currently RENOVATING the rooms. Brand new room, new bathroom, excellent bed. Wi Fi was free, as was the tea and coffee. You also get a free breakfast which is remarkable value - either a full English or a continental. Juice, pastries, coffee machine, spreads - was very good indeed for the price paid. Curry house also ran by the same people is attached, with a bar and a pool table. So so convenient. Car park very close by. Less than 1 minutes walk.
