La proprietaria si é mostrata fin da subito gentilissima e molto disponibile. L'abbiamo contattata telefonicamente per avvisarla del nostro ritardo rispetto all'orario di check in: lei ci ha subito tranquillizzati sul fatto che ci avrebbe aspettato fino alle 22 circa senza alcun problema. Appena arrivati, oltre a mostrarci la struttura, ci ha fatto scegliere la colazione per l'indomani (ci sono opzioni sia dolci che salate, tutte cucinate in casa) e l'orario che preferivamo. Al mattino ci siamo però resi conto che dovevamo anticipare di circa 40 minuti la colazione: anche in questo caso, la signora ci é venuta incontro permettendoci di fare colazione all'ora richiesta nonostante il pochissimo preavviso. Terminata la colazione, la padrona ci ha addirittura proposto di portarci via degli scones come merenda durante il viaggio.
La struttura é piccola ma molto accogliente e ben tenuta. Super consigliato!

It is about 15 minutes' drive from the Cliffs of Moher. This hotel is located on the seaside and can be labeled as a five-star hotel. The rooms are comfortable and poetic. The cream liquor provided is delicious. There are also free bottled water in the room. Slippers, pajamas and disposable consumables are all available. The restaurant and bar in the hotel have a great atmosphere. The morning at the seaside near the hotel is so beautiful. Breakfast is made to order and buffet, top-notch and rich breakfast! I would like to go there again if I have the chance.

Hotel was lovely, room was very spacious and bathroom was newly refurbished, although the bath was a bit too high, making getting out of the shower a little awkward. Food, I didn't think was too good. While breakfast came on a large plate, and there was plenty to eat, if only it could be eaten. Bacon and sausage seemed like they had been cooked ages ago, and were tough and cold (having said that - I like my food piping hot). Entertainment was excellent - something for everyone. I would definitely go back. Lovely helpful staff too. Yes, we had a great time

This time because I was going to Moch Cliff, I chose a hotel closest to the cliff. The hotel is in the town. It is a more traditional European town hotel. There is a small waterfall facing the hotel. The overall is good, but the SPA is a swimming pool. Don't expect. But because each town here is far away, it is only connected by bus for an hour, or waiting for the bus or chartering, so if you live again, it should be better to live in the center of Dulin Town. It is closer to the airport. It is also convenient to charter a car and buy some daily necessities. Then live in the city of Gaodefa. The cliff is between two points, but it will be more convenient at two points. It is close to the cliff like now, but the traffic and daily are not convenient.

Honestly very old hotel with slow flow of water , rooms are ordinary , its basically old and traveller who are flexible and can adapt to situations and lifestyle like this , sure okay but for people like us who need everything precise , surely not a good one.

Lovely atmosphere at the reception and wonderful view from the room. Staff is very friendly.
However, the buffet breakfast was a bit disappointing and there were no staff to support at all.

I recently stayed at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel has a wonderful mix of history and comfort., the old manor house setting gives it real character, yet everything feels modern and welcoming. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after exploring the town. Staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly and professional, creating a warm atmosphere that really stood out. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Ennis, with free parking. Overall, the Old Ground Hotel delivers on charm, convenience, and genuine Irish hospitality. Castle Oaks was lovely and would recommend, however the staff, especially Josephine made it fantastic, so lovely and kind and great with the kids. Alex was great, saw a tired and hungry family and jumped in to support to make it easier. Can’t recommend the place enough

Lovely, cute country hotel. Lovely front desk staff. Great kicking off point to explore The Burren and West Clare. 5 min outside Ennis so was great for getting dinner in the eve.
