Highly recommend this hotel if you have an early flight. The rooms are quite spacious, especially compared to other hotels in Iceland. Breakfast starting at a surprisingly early 4 AM was fantastic, and the selection was more varied than I expected, covering all the essentials. There's a convenient pedestrian walkway directly to the airport. The soundproofing is excellent; we couldn't hear any airplane noise. We also had dinner at the hotel; the taste and prices were comparable to other places in Iceland. Overall, I really enjoy Icelandic cuisine.

This place was excellent value for money, -- spotlessly clean, very easy, and the most spacious and best-appointed room we had during our weeklong visit to Iceland, staying in different accommodation every night. Staff were very pleasant, the included breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and our room was the biggest one we had. Highly recommend this hotel/hostel.

The room is relatively large and has its own characteristics. There is almost no service. I booked this hotel because I saw that there is an airport shuttle bus. I mistakenly thought that the hotel has this service. I started calling after booking the hotel, but no one answered. Later, Ctrip customer service helped me contact the hotel, and they said there was no airport pick-up, only airport drop-off. After checking in, I found out that the shuttle bus is bus No. 55, which runs once an hour. It takes 13 minutes to walk to the hotel after getting off the bus. The hotel has a terrace hot spring, which is clean and empty. And you can see the erupting volcano while taking a bath.

The hotel is relatively close to the airport, so location itself is convenient. The room was spacious and with comfortable beds, though with fairly minimal amenities. Based on the room alone, it is acceptable for a short 1-night stay without much to ask for. On the negatives, there is currently a renovation of the hotel entrance is ongoing. No information was provided to us in advance nor is it mentioned in their website, which is misleading since an informed opinion cannot be made (given the ensuing issues on noise etc). Also due to the renovation, the reception area is rather stuffy and dark, since there is limited air circulation and natural light in the current temporary “reception” area. Finally, the area immediately around the hotel up until the entrance is badly maintained, if at all, with garbage all over the place (from food containers to used condoms).

The name of the hotel speak for itself. Fantastic experience as we managed to catch the northern light right at the hotel itself. Tho hotel looks aged (might be due for refurbishment), overall is ok with all the necessary amenities. Staff were nice. We told them we had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight and wouldn’t be able to go for the breakfast which was provided for. The staff offered and arranged the breakfast to be prepared early for us. So nice of them.

Sehr gut gelegene Unterkunft nahe des Flughafens. Sie liegt in einem kleinen Ort, der alles bietet und dennoch sehr ruhig. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und sauber. Man hat alles was man wollte vorgefunden. Der Kontakt bzgl. der Schlüsselübergabe war ebenso 1A. Vor Ort findet man einige kleine Hütten, die viel Ruhe bieten! Wir würden gerne wieder kommen!

Location close to the airport, good value for money. The room is big and there is no problem with hygiene. There is parking space. There is a restaurant/bar downstairs. Overall, it can be ordered again. 

We booked the motel for our last night in Iceland to be as close as possible to the airport. You need only 20 minutes to Keflavik. The room has everything you need for a night and it was very clean. The telephone contact to the check-in time arrangement was very friendly and uncomplicated. Also the self-check-in and check-out was easy and easy.

The hotel is less than 4 kilometers from the airport, but the traffic is not convenient, only the taxi from the airport to the hotel. In the morning, the sign that needs to clean the room is hung on the door. When I come back at night, the sign has become a sign that does not need to take care of the room, and the room is not cleaned. From the hotel to the centre of Reykjavik, take the 55 bus near the hotel.
