"Mixed feeling about this … it’s a walk from the jr station in the center of the red light district, cheap accommodation, no big deal … but first room the WiFi signal was bad, staff was helpful and changed to another room, again later on the WiFi was not useable, surely the manager knows about it , was planning to stay extra nights but was not possible, next morning manager rely the apologies and room fee was refunded"

"Extremely close to JR Station and the bus terminal, making it a great stopover. The hotel room was quite spacious, with a small sofa and even a capsule coffee machine! We could walk to Fugan Canal Park, and since it was a weekend when we visited, there were evening performances and a musical fountain at the park, which was very lively."

"Location: About a 15-minute walk from Toyama Station. There's a convenience store, the Daiwa department store, and the Toyama Prefectural Library (Glass Museum) nearby. Overall, it's very convenient. Cleanliness: First, you need to take off your shoes when you enter. The entire hotel's hallways and guest rooms are covered in tatami mats, which is a dream for those who love tatami. The bathroom floor is made of bamboo strips, which feels much better than tiles. Every morning, you can see staff meticulously cleaning the common areas, which was a great experience. (They don't clean your room during extended stays, so be aware if that's an issue for you.) Facilities: There's a public hot spring with a large pool and sauna (also open to day visitors, but closed for cleaning from 10 AM to 3 PM). If you don't like public baths, you can enjoy a private soak in the small wooden tub in your room anytime, which is fantastic – it's like getting a private onsen experience at an economy price. The ice cream, yogurt, and massage chairs on the second floor are also a huge plus. Dining: Since I stayed for several days, I booked a room without breakfast. If you decide you want breakfast on any given day, you can just go to the restaurant, swipe your card, and pay when you leave (2500 JPY per adult per meal). It's highly recommended if you love fresh seafood, offering Toyama's 'three treasures' (squid, white shrimp, and tiny rolls), as well as various sashimi and roe for you to create your own seafood bowl. Even for someone like me who doesn't eat much seafood, there were plenty of options like fried dishes, bread, and refreshing watermelon. Overall, I highly recommend this chain onsen hotel."

"Five-star rating all around! I was a bit worried the 2019 renovation might feel old, but it absolutely doesn't – everything feels very new. They offer a pick-up service from the train station, or it's just a 300m walk. Inside the hotel, there are English-speaking staff, making communication a breeze. The buffet dinner was also good. There aren't many dining options on the hot spring street; besides one BBQ place, it's mostly set menus and ramen, so the hotel buffet is a better choice. For lunch, I recommend the cafe by the entrance; both the cakes and drinks were delicious. Since we visited in winter, we didn't book the scenic train, but we did go to the ski resort, which was perfect for kids. The foot bath next to the train station was super hot and incredibly relaxing. This is a great place to stay for two nights."

"This is a really good stay. It has everything you need and the room is actually quite spacious. We had 2 large luggages and can be opened easily. Price is also very affordable with complimentary breakfast. The only downside was you’ll have to pay for parking. There’s a multistorey parking just right behind the hotel, no labels whatsoever. It is shared with TIMES parking (the only label at the parking’s entrance) - so it was very confusing. Staffs were not able to convey the parking location properly, probably due to the language barrier. Should have put up a hotel parking signboard there to avoid confusion."

"Nice and clean hotel. But the melting snow is not easy to walk on. ( For visit in June) It will be good if the commentary for walks or for night slide show can be in English as well. The staff are very polite and helpful. Delicious dinner too. Lastly thanks for giving me a room with wonderful view at level 4. Windows can be opened and air is very fresh. Free tea and coffee and selected timing. Souvenir shop and public bath are good too."

"Hotel was great and is within walking distance that is beside the train station so maid our booking of the train to the alpine snow wall much easier. It is new and clean and carpark is right next to the lobby so it was very easy to check in and out. Though we rented a car we didn’t drive when we stayed there as we were given free 2-way passes to take the tram frim front desk and the train is very accessible."

"The hotel is conveniently located near Toyama Station. Downstairs, there's a Japanese restaurant and a sushi place, but unfortunately, neither accepts reservations, so you have to queue. There's also a convenience store on the first floor. The front desk is on the second floor, where you can pick up toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup remover, skincare, tea bags, drip coffee, and bath salts – a really good selection. You need your room card to access the elevators. The room itself is a bit small but quite new, and the layout is pretty efficient. My only complaint is the narrow and long entryway; with a 24-inch suitcase open, only one person can pass through at a time. It would be perfect if that hallway were a bit wider. The bathroom gets a huge thumbs-up! It's spacious, with a separate bathtub and shower, and the shower floor dries very quickly. For room cleaning, you need to put a sign on your door. If you only need fresh towels and trash emptied, you can leave them outside your door in the morning, and they'll hang new ones on the doorknob. They provide two bottles of water daily. Toyama Castle and the 'most beautiful Starbucks' are both within walking distance."

"The hotel is just two blocks from the station. The lobby is quite grand, but the rooms are a bit dated. If you opt out of room cleaning, you get two free bottles of water daily. Breakfast is served on the top floor with views of the snow-capped mountains, and the spread is pretty good, though it does get a bit repetitive if you stay for several days."

"Great stay- good food and very fresh. Good public bath with very hot water. B Free coffee and plain water at level one. (For certain timing) Entrance is at level two. From room, can see sunset view. Thanks for the great service!"
