The room was larger than typical Japanese hotel rooms, and the front desk service was excellent. You can ask the front desk for free tickets for specific bus lines for the day. It's a bit of a shame that the parents of the children staying next door basically ignored them. The kids were constantly running up and down the hallway, and we could feel the vibrations throughout our room. We eventually notified the front desk, who then spoke to the parents, and the children finally went back into their room, but it still wasn't quiet as they kept jumping around 😓. The building is a bit old, but the restaurants around the hotel are great and extremely convenient.

Spacious room, clean, very thoughtful design, they asked you to try their Toyama filtered water which is one of the best kept secrets of Japan, hotel comes with sauna and hot bath and gym room; walking distance of about 5-10mins from Toyama station. The hotel is just 2 mins walk from Toyama station. Across it is a shopping mall. Very convenient! Hotel has free bike to rent, easy to cycle around the place. Hotel breakfast is really good, an infusion of japanese with other cultures. And most affordable. Room amenities are basic but sufficient. The only thing I don't like is the bed. Gives me backache. There is only one thin pillow. Otherwise all good.

Came here to relax with the natural hot spring that Toyama is famous for. The waters here are dark brown like soya sauce. The public bath has several baths including one that is outdoor. There are ample lockers, dressing tables and shower berths. The laundry room is inside the public bath area. They are separate machines from the dryer. While the washing machines are free, it costs money to use the dryer. The shower cubicle in the hotel room has no shower rail to hang laundry to dry. The double bed room has a private cypress wood bath tub. It felt good to soak in onsen water in the morning before breakfast. It’s deep enough for someone tall to sit in. A short walk away is the tram stop. A free tram ride coupon can be obtained from the front desk for international tourists.

This hotel is an excellent choice for a trip to Toyama. It's located on the 5th floor and above of a shopping mall right next to Toyama Station. You can just go downstairs and you're right at the station, which makes transportation and dining incredibly convenient. In terms of transport, since there isn't a huge amount to explore within Toyama city itself, and most attractions are within walking distance of the station (even Iwasehama is reached by train from Toyama Station), staying near the station is a significant plus if you're using Toyama as a base to visit places like Takaoka, Amaharashi, or Himi. For dining, you can find local Toyama specialty restaurants right at the station, and they generally have good reviews. Therefore, just the location alone makes this hotel highly recommendable. As for the facilities, the hotel has everything you'd expect, and the rooms are well-maintained. The public bath is decent, and the breakfast is quite good. Not only is the all-you-can-eat sushi (which is a main selling point) of good quality, but the other dishes are also noteworthy. I was very satisfied with the meal. Overall, if you're using Toyama as a base for a two-day trip to explore the surrounding areas, this hotel is a superb option.

The hotel is super convenient, only about a 3 to 5-minute walk from the station. It offers great value for money, with fantastic photo opportunities overlooking the Kurobe Gorge. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes. For dinner, you can even choose a hotpot to cook at your table, and they also feature local Hokuriku specialties.

I stayed for 4 nights in Toyama, and overall, this hotel had the largest room and offered the best value for money. It's just a 3-4 minute walk from Toyama Station, and you can see the hotel as soon as you exit. The room was very spacious for our family of three, and it even came with capsule coffee and snacks. The mini-bar drinks were also replenished daily. There's a large supermarket directly across from the hotel (mostly cosmetics/pharmacy items). Several restaurants recommended by Google Maps were also within walking distance, which was incredibly convenient. Breakfast was decent but didn't vary much over the days. All in all, it's a really excellent hotel, highly recommended.

The breakfast is the highlight of this hotel, but children over six are charged adult prices, there's no separate child rate. The hotel rooms are a bit small, and the toiletries are P.O.L.A., which is nice, and you can get coffee yourself. The beds in the room are also on the smaller side, but still manageable for sleeping. One thing to note is that there's no room service if you're resting in your room.

Toyama offers an abundance of delicious food, and even if you're not planning a hike up Tateyama, exploring the city itself is highly recommended.

The hotel is unforgettable. One berth and two food choices should be the most common set meal, but it is still amazing. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoy the breakfast in the courtyard snow scene, regardless of the tip of the tongue or the eyes, you have the ultimate enjoyment. Bibimbap snacks for breakfast have a variety of tricks, and Toyama famous things are worth trying. The exquisite presentation makes people unable to bear to eat, everything is ingenious. We did not book a private soup, because the scenery of the public soup is more beautiful! There are very few guests staying, and the hot spring in the snow is worth a try! As a paradise-like existence, you must accept the store's limited English output. Remember to bring your mobile phone translation software. Everything is not a problem.
