The ravine by one Selah is a Nature Farm Resort. Given the case, people would need to consider bringing preventive measure for insects especially mosquitoes. The stay can be considered as Glamping - they don’t offer towels and toiletries so bring your own. The activities are nice if its available. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy those due to limited time and staff. Check in is by 3PM but most of the activities are only until 5PM. You’ll only be able to settle in your respective Cabin by 5PM. They advertise that the activities can start by 8AM but not much of staff is available till 10am. Lots of Cabin but only 2 trams are available and can only be operated with the staffs. The area is approximately 7 floors so you’ll have to manage the stairs. I don’t think its senior citizen friendly place but again it’s a very goods place to unwind and detach from the city.
Vietnamese boat is not available as the boat broke. We weren’t able to try fishing because there was no bait. As for the zip-line and bridge walk, we weren’t able to do due to limited number of safety devices. However despite these, we enjoyed the Cabin Hammock, the River, and the cabin pool.
Staff and service are excellent the only thing I noticed is the they don’t provide towels soap and all by amenities the the hotel supposed to provide but overall will recommend to friends.
This is a perfect place to stop and rest when enduring a long trip down south via the Pan Philippine Highway. Reasonable price, good location and a nice beach view are always good to have on a trip.
View of the Taal Volcano & the lake is breathtaking. Front desk staff is kind of robotic! 😬 Breakfast service is alright. Bell hops helpful and friendly. Magnificent fireworks on the stroke of midnight on NYD 2025! Overall quite satisfactory experience!
I just wanted to share some quick feedback — the facility is clean and well-maintained, and the staff are very accommodating. It was a pleasant experience overall.
Thank you and keep up the great work!
This hotel in the industrial area cannot take taxis or grabs.
The Japanese restaurant next to it is delicious.
The room is big and the breakfast is simple. The attitude of the service staff is very good.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Timberland Heights Resort, and overall, it was a lovely trip. The resort offers a similar atmosphere to Shangri-La Boracay, though naturally not at the same level of luxury and elegance. However, it provides a great vacation experience, perfect for stays of at least two nights to fully enjoy activities like the Outdoor Cinema, Bonfire with S’mores, and swimming in the infinity pool with its stunning views of both the city and nature. It’s a place I would return to and recommend to friends.
That said, there are a few areas where improvements could be made. First, attention to cleanliness could be improved, specifically with the coffee mugs and kettle in the room. Ours had hardened residue, particularly around the mouth area of the kettle. Fortunately, the Manager promptly addressed the issue by replacing the mugs, glasses, and providing us with a new kettle, which was much appreciated.
Additionally, I’d like to bring up a concern regarding the swimming pool. My son has swum in numerous pools both locally and internationally, and this was the only time he experienced an allergic reaction. We initially thought his fever was related to a cold, but on our last day, he developed rashes, which we later learned were due to an allergic reaction. The rash began on his neck and spread to his shoulders, chest, back, and limbs. After visiting his pediatrician and undergoing lab tests, it was confirmed as an allergic reaction. We suspect that it may be related to the chemicals used for pool maintenance, as this was the only pool that triggered such a reaction after over 20 others.
While this was an isolated incident, I think it would be worth the management’s attention to review the chemicals used in the pool to ensure they’re safe for all guests. This would help to avoid any similar experiences for future visitors, especially those with sensitive skin.
I truly hope to return and celebrate future occasions at Timberland Heights Resort, and with a few adjustments, I’m sure it can continue to offer even better experiences for all its guests.
It's always fun and memorable staycation here. We love their swimming pools, very relaxing. Lobby and room smell so nice. Perfect location also. Restaurants, malls, groceries and coffee shops are just walking distance.
Some say that there are no other hotels around Rosario, but the cost performance is good, so I stayed for several nights. There is a 7-Eleven nearby and many restaurants. 3000 yen is highly recommended.

MMelvin RaagasI had an amazing stay! The service was exceptional, and the staff are accomoding. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The free breakfast was a delightful bonus—delicious and with plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
SsushifranThe environment is excellent for a holistic health resort. Wrapped within a forest with lots of trees and organic farming all over the place.
Good: Spa treatments were really good. All therapists very professional and I had an extremely good experience.
To improve:
- it's 2 hour drive from the airport. The resort does not provide shuttle service from airport, I had to find my own transport. Lucky I found a very reliable and good driver.
- customer service not up to such a luxury resort level. Some of them are good but some seem to be quite reluctant in answering requests. Like when I make booking, it takes them forever to reply, and no following up. I also sent my health report as requested at reservation, they never read it and still ask me about it when I arrive. What's the point.
- food could be better.
- decor and songs in the rest very outdated.
DDean Andre MagallanesWe've enjoyed their amenities, we didnt expect the beautiful white sand beach and the huge pool as it is well maintained. The room is quite huge as well. however, they should maintain the cleanliness of the surroundings as theres a lot of flies in the lobby and inside the restaurant which is quite disturbing for us while we are eating our breakfast. Hoping that this concern will be addressed properly. So far, we have enjoyed our stay despite the flies roaming around the building.
JJill M.It's always fun and memorable staycation here. We love their swimming pools, very relaxing. Lobby and room smell so nice. Perfect location also. Restaurants, malls, groceries and coffee shops are just walking distance.
KkeithstoryIt was wonderful experience in Altamare, even though the location is isolated from the city, it is worth to stay here.
I have tried most food while we are staying here, and all of them are taste good and hygiene.
Outside pool is clean and beautiful, you can see the sunset every evening.
If you join the scuba diving, you will see many beautiful corals and small and big fish, even turtle (if you are in a right timing)
Doing Snorkeling is also recommended.
Satffs are very kind and friendly.
But the wifi signal in the room was poor.
RRhytzzWe had a great stay! breakfast food was good. Kids can play and swim but pool water is kinda cold 😀
Family friendly! Great Location and Accessible to all 👍👍
GGuest UserStaff are attentive and kind, service was good. Food was good. The place is very Instagramable. Very nice cabanas. The plates used during dinner are really nice. The room has no refrigerator or water kettle, water pressure of the shower weak, but there is enough water supply. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beach is small, though. Overall it was a pleasant experience staying at this resort. The service and food made up for the small beach
