Cangzhou Jinshi International Hotel has truly redefined my perception of local five-star service! Even before check-in, a butler proactively reached out, offering a complimentary room upgrade and securing a prime spot with a view of Shicheng Park. The doorman promptly opened doors and assisted with luggage, and check-in at the front desk was incredibly swift, all handled with a constant smile. The room was meticulously clean, down to the smallest detail, with welcome fruits, drinks, and complimentary mineral water replenished daily. The smart curtains and lighting were incredibly convenient. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring freshly made lamb intestine soup, donkey meat 'huoshao' (flatbread), and 'roujiamo' (Chinese hamburger) – authentic local flavors aplenty – plus a complimentary afternoon tea. Housekeeping and room service were remarkably responsive. From check-in to departure, every aspect was thoughtful and attentive. This hotel deserves a full five-star recommendation!

Took advantage of the off-season prices to stay in a sea-view room 😂. Specifically chose one where I could see the sunrise, but the weather wasn't cooperating – cloudy skies, no sunrise. The room was very clean, and as soon as I opened the door, I saw the ocean view outside the window, which felt totally worth it. The size is a bit small, but it's enough for just me. Facilities are complete, and the front desk was responsive. Thumbs up! I'll come back when the weather gets warmer.

This InterContinental hotel, located right next to Yuhua Wanda Plaza, was filled with a wonderful festive atmosphere. The room was spacious enough to move around freely, and the bathroom was clean with a great wet/dry separation. It offered excellent value for money. Our housekeeper, Lily, was incredibly attentive, checking in daily, responding to our needs promptly, and even leaving us small gifts 🎁. She also helped us with our luggage to the car when we checked out. A special thanks to Lily!

This is a premium hotel in Shijiazhuang, located in Chang'an District, a strong economic area of the city. It really stands out near the Provincial Museum! The decor inside is luxurious and high-end, the service is excellent, and the underground parking is very convenient. It's truly a hotel with top-notch service! My initial room seemed to not be incorrect, they immediately upgraded my room. Then I lost my AirPods (for the second time when staying at this hotel) both times a lovey lady named Cathy made sure I got them back, even contacting the rail company and getting them from the train. Goods great, pool is awesome. Best place to stay when visiting Tangshan and price is great

The whole hotel is luxurious, tasteful, and hardware is excellent. It is the most expensive hotel in Zhengding District. But I can't help but want to vomit a bad thing: 1. The room and corridor 𥦬 The house is locked and airtight. Although the waiter said that it has been open for four years, it still feels boring to live in. The air conditioner can't be turned on. The waiter's eldest sister is very good. She also came to help. It still didn't work. Finally, the window of the room was locked and opened. It was equipped with a fan to blow, and the air was circulating. But the problem is that the large truck passing by the window is very loud, and the window is stuffy and hot, so I can't sleep. 2. In such a tall hotel, the breakfast coffee machine did not have a coffee cup. The waiter asked me to drink it in a column cup. The coffee tasted not to be said. 3. The hotel did not have any prompts that the simple slippers prepared need to be paid. According to our inertia of going north and south, we took away the road and changed our feet. As a result, the car received a call from the hotel halfway and said that it would pay, a pair of 25 yuan, I will go! Anyway, I will never live again next time.

This hotel experience was fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the view from the window was pleasant. MMichael Exploring China and BeyondWe visit the Four Points by Sheraton, in Gu'an Langfang often.
This was a particularly special visit, as there were numerous events to celebrate.
Namely ”Mid Autumn Festival”, ”National Day” and my Birthday coincided during this period.
This Hotel is without a doubt the best Hotel, not only in Gu'an, but in Langfang as well.
The ”Eatery Restaurant”, plays a vital role in the success of this Hotel.
I often say this when visiting a great Hotel or Restaurant, it's the ”Team”, whom makes the establishment a success.
The ”New” pastry cheff, is truly a great asset to the Restaurant and Hotel.
His pastries are of exceptional standard, and the variety is huge ”unlike the sister Hotel's Restaurant, The Sheraton”, whom barely have any pastries or desert on offer.
Without the right team in place, the business can and will, never be truly successful.
Especially, in the current highly competitive market.
As a former ”Regional Retail Manager”, with over 15 years of Management experience, I can't help but observe and analyze certain businesses.
Being University Qualified in ”Customer Relationship Management” and ”Retail Management”, I appreciate High levels of Customer service.
The success of this Hotel and Restaurant, lies in it's team, and their hard work and dedication.
True ”Managers”, lead from the front, and set an example to their staff.
As the case with ”Samuel” the General Manager, whom always assists his team on the floor.
The same can be said for ”Marcus” the Restaurant Manager, whom is always ”hands on” and working hard on the floor.
Such ”leadership” sets the tone, for a great team as it will filter down to staff on all levels.

Perhaps, ”Marriott” should consider, having this Hotel's ”sister” Hotel, ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management and Team, learn about ”Hospitality and Service”, from this Hotel ”Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang”.
As in my opinion, the ”The Sheraton, Chaobai River Hotel's Management” is not on standard.
The facilities at the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an, Lanfang, are on International standard.
We always enjoy the Swimming Pool, Lobby Lounge and Outdoor Deck, during our stay.
The ”Alpacas” are truly amazing creatures and are well taken care of.
They truly make guests' stay, more enjoyable.
We can highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton, Gu'an Langfang, to all visitors, ”Foreign, and Domestic”.
This is still our favorite destination, in Gu'an / Langfang and surrounding areas.
We look forward to our next stay, see you soon.

WWeiletangshuhuaThe room, while not huge, was charmingly appointed and comfortable, complete with a balcony offering mountain views. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and they offered a selection of pillows to suit individual preferences. The room was generously stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks, which were replenished whenever we ran out. The provided tea selection was excellent, and in the evening, we had a complimentary matcha experience delivered to our room, which we could prepare ourselves. The service was exceptional; a dedicated butler was always on hand to assist with any needs. The bathroom amenities were also high-quality and very pleasant to use. All these thoughtful touches created a truly special and refined experience. They provided comfortable pajamas in the room, perfect for wearing directly to the hot spring baths – a truly considerate detail. Overall, my child absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. We definitely want to visit again.

KKellyC_**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures**
Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us.
The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests.
Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night.
On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area.
However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight.
In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

__ZFB886588****An older hotel, but the facilities are still complete and the room was pretty clean. You can't expect too much from an old hotel. It's best to take a Didi (ride-hailing service) from the station; don't just jump into a shared ride, you might get ripped off. It's just outside the city wall, and I personally think staying here is more comfortable than inside the wall. Among the performances, only the iron flower show is worth seeing, but you absolutely need to get there early to secure a good spot, otherwise, you won't be able to watch. The commercial streets are all pretty much the same!

GGuest UserI recently stayed in room 3129 at this hotel and overall, I had a good experience. The location is excellent as it sits right in front of the beach. The hotel also has a hot spring which is a nice addition, although some areas were not functioning properly due to being broken.
The reception staff was very attentive and friendly, particularly one male employee. However, it seemed that the female staff members were not as willing to work.
I highly recommend trying the massage services offered at the hotel. I had a neck and back massage which left me satisfied.
The breakfast buffet was decent and the dining room supervisor and the reception staff at the buffet were friendly and hardworking. Most of the cooks and servers provided good service.
I would also recommend paying for the dinner buffet as it offers a wide variety of seafood. The only downside was a young grill cook who lacked proper manners when I asked a question about the food. He responded lazily and rudely. Additionally, there was a young waitress with a tattoo on her leg who seemed uninterested in working. While the rest of her colleagues were cleaning and setting up tables, she would simply join them and sit down or play with her mobile phone.
In terms of the room, the cleanliness was below the minimum standard. It was quite neglected, as they only mopped the floor and it still wasn't clean. There were hairs from previous guests throughout the room. The private hot spring in the room could also use some improvement.

The lobby manager's service is very sincere and enthusiastic, and he is considerate and responsible to the children. It feels like a five-star hotel. The waiters are also very enthusiastic and caring to the children. Because I brought my children with me on this trip and I had a lot of luggage, the waiter brother always smiled and rode an electric bike to help pick up and drop off the luggage. The room is facing the sea, and you can watch the sunrise in the room. The hotel is just outside the beautiful seaside. GGuest UserBeijing issued an orange warning for strong winds on the weekend, so our family of four came here to avoid the strong winds. It is very convenient to drive 19 minutes from home to this hotel. The buffet changed to a ”Mexican style” this time, but I still look forward to eating the chef's stewed ribs and lamb ribs next time:) I have been here many times and will come again.
Service: Compared with the full house during the holidays, it is more comfortable to stay on weekends. Allen, the guy at the front desk, prepared the room card in advance and checked in very quickly. In order not to go out for dinner or order takeout, we chose a set meal with dinner buffet, which is very suitable. TTheMachineThe compound and apartment are both very nice. Check-in was not difficult for us but only because we used WeChat and spoke Mandarin. Amenities were sufficient, though the kitchen lacked a microwave. The kitchen initially also lacked cooking supplies but our host provided them upon our request. The host is very responsive on WeChat. The compound has a playground and a few shops, and there are plenty of small restaurants just outside the compound. The location of the compound is right across the Chaobai river from Beijing, very close to one of the three bridges in the area. Crossing the bridge into Beijing by car requires passing a border check station which is slightly inconvenient as a foreigner since you will likely be required to go into the station to register every time. However, after the first crossing, subsequent crossings were very fast for us (1-2min processing time) and our rideshare drivers waited for us with no problems. Most of the time, the compound is ~20-25min by car to LuCheng subway station in Beijing, which is currently the closest subway station to the compound. However, during the morning rush hour on workdays, the border check station going into Beijing will have traffic jams up to 30+min. A rideshare (DiDi or Hello Ride) to/from LuCheng subway station costs around 20-30CNY each way. There are also public buses that go directly to/from LuCheng subway station but they only run during rush hour, and passengers still have to get off at the border check station for processing. This border check station is currently a big inconvenience, but current road and subway constructions in the area may alleviate this inconvenience in the near future.
Currently, it is difficult to find short term apartment rentals that accept foreigners in/near Beijing, so this stay was great value for money, despite us having paid ~2-3x the cost of rent for locals, it was still priced below tiny rooms in most Beijing hotels.
