Beautiful hotel. Single room a little too small. Really accurate and precise service with towel change in the evening and room check. Only negative note they didn't call me for the wake up call even though I recommended it... I hope next time they give me a bigger room đ

The hotel itself was good , the room was very spacious and clean , breakfast was nice (not buffet) served at the table , better then most other hotels I've stayed in previously in tunis
Customer service was amazing , especially Riyadh and atif , these 2 members of staff (at reception) were extremely helpful and kind

When traveling alone, I don't have very high requirements for accommodation. It just needs to be clean and have a private bathroom. The Swissotel is in a very good location, near the train station and only a few hundred meters from Medina, in a small alley next to the main road. During the day, I saw cleaners cleaning the path in front of the door, but at night there would be a lot of garbage on the road. This has something to do with the national character of this country. People are used to throwing garbage on the ground. This is not the hotel's fault. The interior of the hotel is very clean. Go right from the hotel and there is a big trash can at the intersection. At night, it is often overturned and scattered with garbage. If you want to go to the supermarket to buy things, you must pass by this trash can. This may be the reason for the bad surrounding environment mentioned in some comments. The breakfast is different every day, simple and delicious. It is 8 kilometers from the hotel to the airport, and it costs 8 dinars to take a metered taxi. But from the airport to the hotel, you will be charged 25 dinars.
The toilet in the room I stayed in did not have a toilet seat, and I could discuss changing rooms with the hotel.

The hotel was right in the centre. I stayed in room 303. Small with double bed though considering i booked single room. Room was clean and tiday and compact. Dud not have kettle or fridge and no glass could be found. The night receptionist was very helpful, cheerful and found me a glass and some water.
Hygiene: Very clean, it's rare to come across such a clean IBIS. I don't wear slippers and my bare feet won't get dirty.
Environment: Convenient transportation, about ten minutes to the airport
Facilities: Compared with other hotels in Tunisia, the facilities are relatively new.
Service: The service attitude is very good, everyone is very enthusiastic.
There are not enough hot dishes for breakfast, but the rest is good and it's ok to stay.
Very Good

DDr OSBeing engaged to a tunisian girl i fly frequently to tunis from the UK.
Location of the hotel is good, 15 minutes from airport, busy area but i dont think its an area to walk around at late night.
Ive tried loads of the hotels ranging from 2 stars to 4 star hotels in tunis city, hamamet and sousa areas.
This hotel is a small hidden gem.
I was Greeted with a smile when i came around midnight, check in took a minute (unfortunately wasn't given the wifi password on the spot had to ask for it latter on)
The wifi was very fast in the room, i had no issues with connectivity
The owner offered me a complementary bottle of water which i appreciated cause if was thirsty and hungry, they offered to get me some food from a nearby fast food place, so i requested a sandwich which i paid 15 tunisian dinners for ( didnt likee the sandwich much but i appreciated there help đ đ đ )
The hotel itself is very very nice, not a generic build, had a tunisian look to it with paintings everywhere, they have like a small venue area down in reception
The room was spacious and again nothing generic about it.
The beds were steel frame beds so nothing fancy but the mattress was new and comfortable
Everything was spot on clean
flat tv on the wall and an A/C unit which was functional, all remotes were there in the room.
The rooms were very calm, no noise and most important they WEREN'T PAPER THIN !!!!
No kettle or tea/coffee in the room
2 towels in bathroom, small to medium size, no large ones
Shampoo was available in packets, they supplied 2,
Toiletries available, very clean modern toilet, no leaks
Overall
I loved this hotel, i paid 20 pounds for the night and i am 100% sure i will be coming again soon
GGuest UserMixed review, but overall too pricy hostel for the quality of the service. Having a good location and a cute decoration isnât enough. Pros and cons below :
Pros :
- Amazing location in the heart of the Medina ideally located
- Cute hostel with beautiful tiles
- Kind and helpful staff
Cons :
- The room we booked in advance was not available when we arrived. Instead of a double bed room, we were put in a bunk beds room with no explication or apologies. No solution, accommodations or compensation were offered to us afterwards. Very poor service from the hotel on that side and I saw online afterwards itâs not the first time theyâre doing that
- Noisy hostel with no soundproof rooms at all. All the rooms are close to each other and open to the dining area with the breakfast starting at 7:30am and people coming back very late at night. Earplugs very much needed
- Average breakfast, the quality of the products is poor knowing what is available in the area. Be careful with water as some plastic bottles for breakfast are filled with tap water
- Be aware youâll have to walk at least 5min in little paved streets after taking off your taxi and finding a taxi to leave the area wonât be always very easy

Sstarboy ashaniHonestly speaking. It's good for the cheap price but could be a bit cleaner.
Lifts are old and the lift door sensor dnt really work do doors squash on u.
The room I requested when booking, wasn't the room I got. However, it was a massive room with queen size bed and a double, which were quite comfy.
Bathroom bath too messy, it's like they patch painted bits of it.
You can hear every noise from another room and in passage.
View through the window wasn't good as shown in photos. Images advertised by hotel are a lot more different when you're actually there.
Hotel had no source of clean hot water. So I don't recommend bringing your baby here. I had to buy thermost and bottled water and go to the cafe around the corner and get them to warm it.
Air conditioning was rubbish in the room I got. Toilet couldn't flush properly, have to take lid off and press from in there.
No iron, no kettle.
Very helpful Staffs, 3 nice bars, regular room service.
GGuest UserIf u ever in tunisia make sure u stay at tis hotel.the design is fabulous.my bed facing the sea.u can lay in bed sea view. Every staff is nice and try their best to service. Specially the reception gal at check in. She upgraded my room. Really appreciate. Their garden is huge very peaceful .plus private beach walk. cardio room great view. My opinion well worth the money.donât miss the sunrise sky turning pink.u canât see pink from the photo.u can see it when ur here. I absolutely enjoyed my stay.
GGuest UserIf u look for luxury tis aint for u.hotel is a bit old. But if u want relax close to nature private beach less ppl gym swim still affordable. I would recommend tis hotel. I walk to four seasons every morning during my stay.long walk on quiet beach.be patience when u in Tunisia.check in is a bit slow.but sheâs a nice lady did found me a good room. I had a lovely stay.
GGuest UserIt was a great choice, I was landing at night, so I decided to stay a night at a hotel close by the airport. My sister and her kids checked in earlier and they had a blast. Great service and an amazing diverse and delicious breakfast we enjoyed the next morning together. I have to say, there was only one bit of detail worth mentioning, the frond desk lady helped me call the cab, but she did not mention using Bolt, which is a more expansive taxi service and forgot to mention that she also obviously chose the Comfort option which cost me more at least a 60% extra charge than the normal price. which was displayed on the meter when we arrived but the cab driver asked for more money than that.
Overall, we had a nice short stay and enjoyed a late checkout to chill and recover from my trip.
Thanks to Novotel Team for the delicious food variety.
HhakimThe room facilities are good, the breakfast is rich, there are restaurants around, and it is convenient to go to various places. It is very suitable for short-term business trips. There is a park near the hotel and it is relatively quiet.
