Only stayed for two days, however the hotel did not clean the room, I do not know if it was intentional or not But the environment is 102 points, and upgraded the room for free There are home-raised animals that can be fed outside for free, and the environment is very comfortable, the hotel area is larger than Victoria Park. The decor is very good, the room is very comfortable, the TV can watch YouTube, and there is a skylight. It is recommended that friends with a budget can play to might as well stay in a room with a terrace, really can open the door can look at d animals and a large sky and grass The location is certainly not very convenient, at least 30 minutes drive from downtown Hobart However you can drive 5 minutes to large supermarkets and restaurants Overall highly recommended

We stayed here for one night as a stop over. The room was nice and clean and just right for a short stay. I would recommend staying here. We also received a free drinks voucher to use at the pub which was a nice touch.
Montacute Boutique Bunkhouse

What a super little hostel! Excellent location just minutes from the waterfront. Lovely man in reception - they always give a tour of facilities. Hostel is set in an old Victorian house which is delightful. Large well- equipped kitchen, free food available from previous guests. A lovely garden although it had yappy dogs in it so I wasn’t a fan. Beautiful upstairs verandah with comfortable seating, and sofas in other spaces to no shortage of places to relax. I was in a female four bed dorm which was a bit tight for space but I saw other rooms which seemed more spacious with wider beds. I loved the individual lights and fans for each bed. My bottom bunk had a curtain but I wouldn’t have like being in a top bunk as they didn’t, so you were exposed to the main light going o etc. The only thing that spoiled my stay was the same thing that spoils every stay I’ve had when travelling - thoughtless guests who make noise early in the morning/late at night. The three girls sharing my room got up at various times from 5.30 onwards so needless to say my morning did not start well! Hostel management can’t do much about that though. Immaculately clean bathrooms and a good vibe. I’d definitely stay here again, but in a private room!
Rydges Hobart, an EVT hotel

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel
Travelodge Hotel Hobart

The room and bathroom is small. The shower head is fixed which means difficult to control the water flow and cold water will flow out when you go inside. The WiFi connection is not stable. The only good thing is that the laundry facilities is good. Breakfast is normal with limited choice. The price is quite high and not value for money.
Mövenpick Hotel Hobart

Very happy with my stay at Movenpick hobart from 18-21/01/25 (Sat to Tue) for AU$606 - the rate (20% off for diamond tier) is even better than their end of year sale via official website as an ACCOR member (15% off) Since other's reviews of classic rooms seem depressing as there is no view at all.....thus I booked a superior room with city view. However being allocated to room 403 on the 4/F .....instead of full length windows as per promotional pics.....my window is relatively less impressive. Also there is a high pitch wheezing sound from the corridor......but the sound has gone once we open our door..... hopefully I can have a better room above 5/F next time. Chocolate hours and the day bed in the room are something that we liked most, not much interaction with staff so hard on their hospitality....but on the day of check in around 3pm, a cleaning staff just entered and shocked to see us inside. She thought the room needs to be clean hopefully not making her scared
Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston

Well located property in the hear of Launceston CBD. Rooms are comfortable, simple but dated. Some lower floors have older bathrooms which have shower head and bathtub overdue for repair, but higher floors have new bathrooms which are nicer and more comfortable. Close to attractions- A must visit is the Cataract Gorge site located a short drive just outside Launceston CBD. Car parking on site which is convenient.

Pod Inn

First time I sleep in a capsule ”coffin experience”. It is less caustrophobic I expected. It is comfortable, but everytime somebody goes in-out or moves in the bed awakes me. Lighting is annoying. It smells a lot mature cheddar cheese when people take the shoes off. Good location. Convenient facilities. And...affordable cause there are no many hotels and can get very expensive.
