This five-diamond hotel, listed on Ctrip's hotel ranking and one of the top hotels in Tongren, turned out to be incredibly disappointing! First, let's talk about the positives: the overall environment was indeed good. We stayed in the garden view building, and it offered great photo opportunities outside. The room facilities and equipment were fine, and there was plenty of hot water. However, there were just too many downsides! 1. When we booked, our first choice was a twin room. Since only the Suzhou-style garden twin room was available that day, we booked it. Upon arriving in Tongren, we took a taxi following the navigation, only to find a long flight of stairs at the hotel entrance with no bellhop in sight. It was hot, and we had two suitcases. I went up to call for help, and there was only one person at the front desk who said I had to wait. It was a peak season during a short holiday, so why weren't enough staff arranged? Did it seem like the occupancy rate was very low?! Okay, after struggling to carry our two suitcases up, suddenly there were two people at the front desk... Then the front desk staff started scanning our IDs. It turned out our Suzhou-style garden room was in a different area (Hilton Garden Inn)! Why wasn't this marked on the Ctrip homepage??? If it had been, I wouldn't have gone to the wrong place!! Upon arriving at the Hilton Garden Inn, they scanned our IDs again. Do we really need to scan them twice? 2. Consequently, the takeout we ordered in advance was delivered to the Fengqi front desk. They said they would send it to the Garden Inn. After waiting for over half an hour with no delivery, I called again to inquire. They said there was no one at the front desk, so I had to go down and get it myself. When I got there, I saw three people at the front desk. So, this is what 'no one at the front desk' means?? They then claimed the two other staff members had just returned. Yes, I must have such 'good' luck? 3. The booking included breakfast, Hanfu experience, and a boat tour discount, but none of this was mentioned during check-in. I had to ask about everything. Where was your service? 4. The handheld shower in the room was broken. Don't your engineering staff conduct regular room inspections? Is the MOD duty manager too idle? As a resort-style hotel with clear peak and off-peak seasons, are you just playing around by not conducting room inspections and repairs during the off-peak season? Does Hilton know that one of its mid-range hotels offers this kind of service? The first impression I got in Tongren was extremely bad! It ruined my entire mood for the trip! I am truly speechless!!!

This trip to Huangguoshu, we chose New Century and were incredibly satisfied! Visiting Huangguoshu during the off-season is definitely more relaxed. Upon check-in, we added the concierge on WeChat, which was really thoughtful; they were always prompt in addressing any requests or needs. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of options. The hotel's kids' facilities are a true paradise for little ones – the sandpit and non-motorized playground kept them thoroughly entertained. My kids absolutely loved it! Plus, there are even sika deer and alpacas to see on the outdoor lawn. The weather in Guizhou during spring is quite pleasant, and the hotel's outdoor lawn offered a refreshing and picturesque view, with lush greenery everywhere, putting everyone in a great mood. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance!

I stayed at the Guizhou Hotel VIP Building for two nights. I arrived late at night, and seeing my weary face, lobby manager Mei'ao proactively offered me a bottle of warm water, which instantly relieved much of my travel fatigue. Front desk staffer Yang Shiting quickly verified my order, and noticing I was traveling with an elder, she thoughtfully arranged a room closer to the elevator for convenience, which I found particularly touching. When we returned and chose the VIP Building without hesitation again, I was pleasantly surprised to see Shiting and Manager Mei'ao once more. What truly amazed me was that they remembered me and said 'welcome home,' making me feel incredibly warm, like I was truly home. I especially loved the tea station in the lobby; it was very refreshing. When I checked out, Xiao Shi handled the process. My car was already waiting outside, and with very little time, I realized I had left my ID in the room. Knowing this, Xiao Shi immediately went to retrieve it for me, telling me not to worry and to take care of the elder in the lobby. I was genuinely moved. The next time I come to Guiyang, I will definitely stay here again.

True to its reputation as a national treasure! Even before arriving, service manager Xiao Yuan proactively reached out to arrange our room and sent us a travel guide. The hotel's breakfast selection and quality far exceeded our expectations. We even got to try the complimentary Maotai ice cream, which thrilled the kids. Renhuai, the 'Wine Capital of China,' was historically a bustling hub for merchants, and this was our first visit. The hotel's warm service and thoughtful greetings truly showcase the excellence of a top-tier domestic brand in both hardware and software. It's a shame we only stayed one night; next time, we'll definitely extend our stay for a few more days. We'll be back, full of praise for Maotai Hotel and our fondness for酱香 (Jiangxiang) liquor!

The hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of the old town's commercial center, right next to Hongtong City and Erqi Food Street. It's also within walking distance of Qingyun Market and MixC, making it incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, shopping, and sightseeing. The staff are all very friendly and approachable, always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean, and tidy. They even have a garden restaurant and a pet park where guests can interact with cute animals during breakfast, which is a delightful and surprising experience. Special thanks to Lotti and Lily at the front desk (their badge photos are attached) for their wonderful attitude and for promptly resolving any issues. Five stars!

The location is excellent, in the heart of the city; there are plenty of parking spaces, so driving is worry-free; the breakfast has a rich variety; I was worried that the equipment and facilities would be old, but the actual experience shows that the hotel has spent some effort on maintenance, and it is clean and comfortable; finally, let me talk about the service. The day of check-in happened to be a family member's birthday, and the young lady who checked me in was very attentive, and immediately sent blessings and small surprises. The glasses brother in the hotel's Chinese restaurant also gave me a very warm reception, which left a brilliant impression and memory for me and my family.

The hotel upgraded me to an executive suite for free. The facilities were complete and very clean, and the environment was tidy. It was very hot the day I arrived, and the staff brought over a fan, which I appreciated. The hotel also offers afternoon tea and light meals in the evening on the top floor. I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay at Kempinski again if I have the chance.

Stayed at this hotel for one night, and it far exceeded my expectations! What surprised me the most was the room's amenities. First, the DeRUCCI mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm, with excellent support. My whole body relaxed as soon as I lay down, and I slept soundly until morning. As someone who usually experiences back pain, I felt no discomfort at all. Second, the Laifen hairdryer was fantastic; it had a powerful airflow and dried my hair quickly, leaving it smooth and frizz-free. It's better than many hairdryers I've used in five-star hotels. These two details alone show how much thought the hotel puts into its service. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area!

My stay at Novotel Guiyang was truly delightful, thanks to the exceptional and professional service from the front desk team. When I checked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles, processed everything efficiently, and even went above and beyond by recommending local eateries and attractions. They also thoughtfully suggested a quiet room. Later that night, when I needed to print some documents, the on-duty staff promptly sent them to my room via robot, which was surprisingly quick and incredibly helpful. On my departure day, the front desk agent, noticing I was in a hurry, meticulously planned the best route for me, showing the kind of care you'd expect from family. The service throughout my stay was incredibly detailed and attentive, from their warm greetings to their quick responses to my needs; every little thing made me feel right at home. Thank you for your dedication; you made my Guiyang trip wonderfully comfortable. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time! - A satisfied guest

Cleanliness: Clean Environment: For a hotel near Guiyang North Railway Station, this one is pretty satisfactory. At least it's a standalone hotel! Service: The hotel offers a shuttle service, and the driver was excellent—very patient and kind, which I really appreciated! We hit rush hour in the afternoon, but luckily the driver was very familiar with the high-speed rail station area, so we avoided getting stuck in traffic!
