This was my first trip to Harbin, and I booked a riverside hotel near the Songhua River on Ctrip. My stay at the Harbin Habsburg River View Hotel (St. Sophia Church branch) was overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the service and breakfast. From the greeters and front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was consistently described as 'warm, attentive, and caring,' making it feel just like home. They even offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, which truly showed how thoughtful and considerate the hotel is. The breakfast was incredibly rich and featured local specialties. What really stood out was the long serving time, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy it as a brunch – a luxury usually only found in international resort hotels. The variety was impressive, including Northeastern dishes like 'kill-pig' stew, chicken stew with mushrooms, 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), iron pot stew, frozen pears, and Kvas, along with Lanzhou beef noodles, wontons, tofu pudding, and big bone stews. The hotel's location is also excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk (500 meters) to Central Street, the Flood Control Monument, and the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Market are within a 2-kilometer walk. Directly across from the hotel is the entrance to the Songhua River Cableway. We stayed on the 11th floor in a high-level river view room, offering distant views of the river and Swan Castle. The night view was truly beautiful. The room was well-equipped with a humidifier (essential in dry Northeast China), heated eye masks, sleep earplugs, a foot bath, bath salts, and charging cables. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and snacks daily, and the bottled water was from Quanyangquan. This hotel is a 'service-driven' choice offering excellent value for money. With its thoughtful service, abundant breakfast, and convenient location, the Habsburg is definitely worth choosing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Harbin and would even recommend it to friends.

I genuinely recommend this hotel! From the moment I walked in, I felt the meticulous service. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The guest rooms were spotlessly clean, and the bathroom and bedding were very well maintained, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The hotel's overall atmosphere is quiet and elegant, and the location is excellent, making it suitable for both travel and leisure. My overall experience was perfect, and it's definitely on my list for a return stay.

This hotel is truly tasteful, with attentive service and plenty of photo opportunities. The breakfast is rich and varied, and the environment is elegant and quiet. The front desk staff, particularly a young lady named Minghui, was incredibly patient and helped us with all our questions, which made us extend our two-day stay by an extra day. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Central Avenue, and within walking distance of the Songhua River and Saint Sophia Cathedral.

Not my first time staying in this hotel. We'll, would like to say that this time it was above all of my expectations. The room was super clean and the music in a bathroom was nice as usual, but the most unbelievably incredible things was that I got an upgrade from the guys in the reception. ## Amenities: The mattress was comfortable, two types of pillows were provided, a smart toilet, a TV with screen-mirroring capabilities, and the internet speed was very fast! The slippers were the thickest and most comfortable I've ever encountered in any hotel. ## Cleanliness: The shower drain wasn't clean and was a bit clogged; I had to deal with it myself while showering. ## Ambiance: I had requested a high floor, but was only given the 7th floor, so my view was ultimately blocked by the tall building directly in front. Additionally, the room was right by the elevator entrance. Luckily, there were no noisy tour groups blocking the elevators that day, so it was relatively quiet. ## Service: Almost non-existent. During check-in, there were two front desk staff. The male staff member was warmly smiling and assisting another group, while the female staff member gave me a cold reception. When I asked about the floor, she simply said my room type wasn't available on the 9th floor. Normally, one would expect something like, ”This room type isn't available on the 9th floor, would you like to consider an upgrade to a different room type on the 9th floor?” She offered no smile and was very curt. After she simply stated my room type wasn't available, I didn't feel like pursuing the conversation further. *Sigh*. ▶ There are self-service drinks in the lobby on the first floor, but the staff didn't inform me. I only found out about them after seeing it online. ▶ Upon check-out, there's supposed to be a farewell gift, but the staff didn't mention it. Long after I had left, I received a message on the Ctrip app saying there was one, meaning I would have had to inquire at the front desk myself. *Ahem*. ▶ I didn't book the hotel's buffet breakfast, but the restaurant allows you to order items à la carte. My companion and I spent 20 yuan and were completely full. (The fried rice was delicious!) ● Overall, in terms of value for money, it's really good! It just falls short on the details. (I wonder if this has anything to do with booking a discounted room? 🤔)

Bringing my little one to Harbin for a family trip, I decisively chose the Polar Bear Hotel within Polarland, and it absolutely exceeded all expectations! It's an absolute treasure for kids, hands down! 🐻❄️ The hotel is located inside Polarland, right next to Sun Island subway station, just a few minutes' walk away, making transportation incredibly convenient. You can directly access the Polar Pavilion from the hotel, so whenever the kids get tired, we could just head back to the room to rest without lugging them and our bags around – it's so family-friendly! It’s also very close to the Ice and Snow World and Central Street, just a few subway stops away, making getting around super easy. We booked the Polar Bear Family Room, which features huge panoramic windows. We could lie in bed and watch the polar bears swim, pace, and play with balls – it was a truly immersive experience! My little one would wake up in the morning and immediately press their face against the glass to watch, and at night, they'd fall asleep with the polar bears as their 'companions,' they were so excited. The hotel truly understands the needs of families with children! The room had exclusive bunk beds for kids, equipped with a full set of children's amenities: cartoon slippers, a mini toilet seat, kids' bathrobes, and toiletries. They even provided drawing supplies – the attention to detail was incredible. The public areas also featured a polar bear-themed playground and a picture book corner. Even the elevators had polar bear animations, making waiting for the elevator a fun experience. Every day, there were rich family activities: polar bear science classes, arts and crafts, and night tours of the Polar Pavilion. The kids could do crafts themselves, learn about animals, and have an amazing time, completely freeing up the parents! The restaurant boasts a panoramic glass design, so we could enjoy breakfast while watching the polar bears play below our feet – a truly unique experience. The breakfast spread was extensive, with soft bread, wontons, and cartoon-shaped buns suitable for children. The food tasted great, and my little one ate so happily. All the staff were incredibly gentle and kind. Check-in was efficient and quick, and they proactively explained the family activities and polar bear viewing times. They thoughtfully provided a baby cot and bed rail for families with children, and even gave us a polar bear plushie and a science picture book, which made my child so happy they couldn't put them down. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the heating was super strong, making it feel like spring even in winter – a truly comfortable stay. The Harbin Polarland Polar Bear Hotel perfectly combines a family-friendly experience with a polar theme. Its convenient location, thoughtful facilities, warm service, and unique immersive polar bear viewing experience make it a must-stay hotel for families visiting Harbin! The kids had a fantastic time, and the adults were relaxed and at ease. It was definitely an unforgettable family trip, highly recommended!

This hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral. There's also a large shopping mall and market right next door, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. They have their own dedicated parking lot, which is a huge plus for those driving. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the rooms are clean, well-equipped, and cozy. All in all, it offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

Before I set off to Harbin, I made a lot of hotel guides. Because I took my parents out to travel, I finally chose this all-season. I thought it was newly opened and very close to Central Street! From the day of check-in, I felt that the staff were super good, very patient, everyone was very kind, especially praise! Arranged the room for us according to our needs, and also helped us upgrade the room. The internal facilities are also great, very clean, large space, and you can see the exterior! If you come to Harbin next time, you don't need to look at other hotels, you definitely prefer this whole season! Bring your parents out, parents like this hotel very much!

Honestly, I'm a bit reluctant to give a good review because the Executive Lounge here is just so subpar right now. And the loud noise in the morning was really annoying, though the duty manager did apologize and offered juice, a small gift, and a cute little tiger plushie, so I guess I'll let it go. Maybe it's the off-season, or they're cutting costs and boosting efficiency. But frankly, the Executive Lounge in Shenyang, also in the Northeast, was much better. I hope Harbin can really step up its game.

The room facilities are top-notch and impeccably clean, which put me at ease. The front desk staff were professional, escorting guests to their rooms and meticulously demonstrating how to use various amenities – truly thoughtful and attentive. Service was prompt whenever called upon, and the parking attendant outside proactively helped with luggage, all with a friendly demeanor. The hotel's afternoon tea was exquisite, and the ambiance was cozy (as pictured). The location is superb, making it very convenient to get around by taxi, subway, or even walk to Central Street. Overall, the hotel genuinely felt like a home away from home. I'll definitely be back.
