This was an incredible hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights during the Ice Festival with 3 kids. We had the family themed room and our kids loved the kids room. It’s basically a kids themed room that’s conjoined with a regular king sized room with an adjoining door between the rooms. It’s perfect for young kids. The staff is incredibly kind and courteous. The service is top notch. The bellman/porter staff at the front are some of the best I’ve ever had in Chinese hotels. Many staff including Max went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. The breakfast had so much variety and was very luxurious. The service here was great as well and our waitress Air did a great job helping our kids. The location is really convenient being right across the street from a Line 3 Metro Station and across the street from where you can take the cable car across the river to Sun Island. It was a short walk to Central Avenue. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing that could be better would be if it had a pool since our kids love pools. I need to take the high speed train early morning hence chosen Xueli Hotel as it is near to harbin west train station and it’s above a shopping mall and opposite is the Wanda mall. Family room is big and some free snacks are provided for. Only downside is the room assigned with slight sewage smell.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful; the moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a fairy tale. The service is also excellent, and the breakfast especially deserves high praise. It was incredibly delicious, with a wide variety of dishes and great flavors. The hot dishes, in particular, were superior to many five-star hotels. I was even surprised to find roasted lamb leg and abalone at breakfast, and the sausages were also tasty. The hotel bed was exceptionally comfortable, from the pillows to the mattress. Out of my nine-day trip to Northeast China, this was the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The location is perfect; you step right out onto Central Street, and within 200 meters, there are countless highly-rated restaurants. The only minor downsides are that the elevator is a bit slow, possibly due to it being an older building conversion, and the room was a bit small. However, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a larger room. All in all, it's highly recommended. Upon leaving, they even provided a lovely souvenir gift bag with good quality candies and wafers, as shown in the picture below.

It's been a few days since I got back from Snow Town, and I'm finally getting around to writing this. This was by far the best experience I've had in Snow Town. The owner was incredibly nice, providing one-on-one service throughout our stay. From the moment we got off the bus, the owner had someone come to help with our luggage – the service was so warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious, bright, and clean. They even provided us with special Northeastern fruits like frozen pears and frozen persimmons. The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented. Plus, the hotel is right next to Xueyun Street, which is super convenient.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being close to both the morning and night markets, as well as several important riverside attractions. Dining and shopping options are also very convenient. The rooms are spacious with a practical layout, and basic amenities were mostly in place. As Heihe's morning market is quite famous, we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. However, the cleanliness was not up to par; there were small flying insects in the room, likely coming up from the drain. The service also left much to be desired. Not only did they fail to accommodate our request for a room away from the elevator, but they assigned us a room right by the elevator entrance, citing room type as the reason. Later, we discovered that rooms of our booked type were indeed available further from the elevator. Furthermore, to borrow an umbrella, we had to pay a 50 deposit per umbrella. While it was refunded immediately upon return, it still left a slightly unpleasant feeling for a hotel guest.

It is very close to Mudanjiang High-speed Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. It is very convenient for shopping and eating around. The hotel is an old 5-star hotel. I have stayed there many times and I feel that the service is as good as always.

**Translation:** Check-in was quick, especially considering the typically lengthy and thorough document verification process for foreigners in China. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is decent—quite good by Chinese hotel standards, especially catering to Russian tastes. Rooms are medium-sized with comfortable beds. The location is ideal if you want to stay downtown, as there’s a pedestrian street right outside the hotel. And since the city is small, everything is within easy reach. The staff is friendly and eager to help. They don’t speak Russian, but if you know even a little Chinese, they’ll make an effort to understand you. The hotel itself is new and, compared to others in the area, in perfect condition. I’d say it’s the best accommodation option in Heihe right now.

The absolute highlight of this hotel is its incredibly convenient location! The subway and direct shuttle buses are all nearby, and getting a taxi is quick and easy. It was especially great to take a direct shuttle from the Ice and Snow World back to Central Street, and then it was just a short walk back to the hotel. Seriously, don't sacrifice convenience for a slightly larger room or subway access when choosing a hotel. In the freezing cold of Harbin, even a 10-minute walk can feel impossible. At least the roads around Central Street are cleared of snow and not slippery. Next up, the service at this hotel is truly outstanding. The front desk staff are all super enthusiastic and always provide attentive service. There are also various snacks and fruits available 24/7 for guests to help themselves to. Regarding soundproofing, the room type I stayed in was very quiet, with no noise at all. Although it was a bit small, it was perfectly sufficient for one person.

Hotel is located in the city centre next to 步行街 (walking street) and it’s less than 8 mins walk from Mudangjiang train station . Received good service from front desk. This hotel offer entrance ticket to guests to use their 8号温泉 Hotspring bathhouse. Very good to rest, relax and have a good rub back

I have to give a huge shout-out to Manager Xiao Jing at the Shangri-La Hotel Harbin! From check-in inquiries to responding to our needs, she was incredibly patient and meticulous, professional yet genuinely caring. She really made our entire trip feel warm and wonderful – truly amazing! We were traveling with a child, and Manager Xiao Jing even offered a complimentary kids' breakfast. At check-out, she gave us a souvenir little tiger. We will definitely choose to stay here again next time we're in Harbin!
