I stayed at the hotel for a few days during my trip to Rovaniemi. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful in particular Riko who assisted with the heating in my room. He had to bring me a portable electric heater because the central heating was not working properly and I really appreciate his assistance. The cleaners were all friendly and helpful and happy to clean the room only when it is convenient for you. I also like the security where after hours you will need your room key to access the hotel. The only small problem is there is no fridge in the room only a cooling box. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Rovaniemi. The location is great and close to shops and restaurants too.

The hotel is a little far from the city, the room environment is good, lying on the bed to watch the stars and the northern lights, the hotel breakfast and dinner are buffet, dinner does not provide drinks, the only drawback is that when I first checked into the room, there was a trash can full of garbage, it was not cleaned in time, it was far from the hotel front desk and it was at night, I was too lazy to go to the front desk, so I just left it in the room

We are a family of 5 and booked 2 family rooms in this hotel. The rooms were big, compared to another Rovaniemi hotel that we stayed in and the amenities were wonderful. Free use of Sauna, 24hr gym, just located directed opposite the supermarket and most of all, the hotel has a microwave that you can heat up the food brought from the supermarket! What a deal!. Some areas for improvement, it would good if the Sauna can be 24hrs instead of closing at 10pm. If the hotel can provide utensils like spoon and fork it will be even more awesome. Overall our best stay in Rovaniemi for the price point, I think its a steal. Oh BTW, Burger King and McDonald is just opposite and 24hrs too.

The room in the East Village Glass House felt very clean, and the room was not big but adequate. I was worried that there would be no 24-hour front desk because I missed my train and arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock in the evening, but I was very surprised that there was one, and the service attitude was gentle and thoughtful; then I got lucky. While lying in bed and looking at the stars in the sky, the Aurora appeared. I watched the aurora for more than an hour. The sky kept changing. It was worth watching the aurora while lying down.

It was helpful that they kept our luggage even before check-in. There were a few clumps of dust in the bathroom, but the room was generally clean and nice! There was a wide variety of breakfast options, and we enjoyed it. Santa Claus Village is easily accessible from the bus stop about a 10-minute walk away. There was also a supermarket about 10 minutes away from the hotel, which was convenient.

We booked the Husky Safari trip with Northern Lights Village in Saariselkä and enjoyed the ride with the Alaskan huskies—it was a truly unique and wonderful experience. However, there are several areas where the service could be improved. First, the staff and guide were not very welcoming. After experiencing other activities in Rovaniemi, the difference in customer service was noticeable. There were no basic facilities like drinking water in the waiting room, only restrooms. When we asked for water, we were told to drink tap water from the restroom. The only refreshment provided after the activity was hot berry juice. There were also issues with communication regarding pick-up and drop-off times, which were not clearly explained. During the husky ride, our guide was not very helpful. At one point, when we wanted to switch drivers for the sled, the guide simply said, “Okay, you can change,” but didn’t assist us, warning instead that the huskies would run off if the vehicle wasn’t held firmly. We eventually sought help from another staff member on a snowmobile, but they told us to ask our own guide, as they were assigned to a different group. While the husky ride itself was amazing, the lack of proper customer care and attention to detail left much to be desired. Another important note: most tour activities in this area are non-refundable, so be sure to consider this before booking. Overall, the activity is fantastic, but the service and customer care need significant improvement.

Their breakfast is delicious ! I enjoyed sauna in my room. The location is nearer to the Santa Claus village. Please choose this hotel is you want to have a good time there.

Staffs are kind and good at English so I didn't have any difficulty of communication. I recommend to buy a spa included ticket and enjoy the Finnish sauna. For the foods, you have to pay for the dinner buffet but the quality is really good. It was worth every penny. There was nothing inconvenient at all. If I had to pick one, there were no amenities in the bathroom only except soap.

I wrote an email the week before our arrival to ask if an early checking at 2h instead of 4h could be possible as we had to prepare for our wedding. They’ve answered that they will ask the cleaning team to do the room first so we could enter it earlier. As we had 2 hours to wait we’ve decided to use the safe locker room they are providing. There is only 10 lockers there. After 10 minutes of struggles to try to lock a locker with all our luggages inside, we had to go back upstair to ring the rude guy again. We’ve waited 10 minutes again for him. When he arrived he told us that the lockers were broken and unusable. No sign to tell us that or nothing, just figure this out yourself when he knew it was broken! There is only two seats in the entrance and there were already 4 people waiting there with their luggage. I asked him what we were then supposed to do and he told us to just leave all our stuff unattended and unlocked there, with everybody able to go through them. I asked him if he was serious and he told me ”if you don’t trust us you can leave with your luggage!” I told him that i don’t know him and with some reviews already talking about stolen stuff in the hôtel you can understand why! He was very rude so i told him i was going to film him and that’s when he said i could leave our stuff in our room while it was being cleaned. We’ve decided to do this and whild doing it we’ve met the cleaning team. Honestly they should be the ones dealing with guests while the rude guy should be left far from any hospitality job where you interact with humans! They told us nobody told them we’ve asked for early checking otherwise they would have done our room first, especially if we wrote an email way earlier to ask for this. Probably the rude guy who forgot how to do his job again! After all that we only had 30 minutes to wait LOL When entering the room, we’ve realised that the fire place is fake. If you wait for the heat or flames of a real fire place you’la be sadly disapointed. Just a fake very light colored ”flame”. The bathroom is one foot away from the bed and the toilets are in it with the shower and sink. There is just a small wall separating between your pillow and the toilet. Wonder why we don’t see this on their website??? The room is advertised as a room ”with view”. If a view on street work and an old building is ”a view” then this is true. The room is good, but the only thing is that it is a bit small. For a hotel in the suburbs at this price, if it is bigger, it may be more luxurious. The service is good, there is a special car to pick up and drop off. If you have heavy luggage, it is recommended to choose a room with a door on the roadside.

Firstly, we booked this hotel through TUI. I would never use TUI again for a holiday, they were unprofessional and there was a real lack of their presence at the hotel. We travelled in a group for the Santa break and the room situation in that there is a maximum of three occupants didn’t work for us and this is where I felt cheated by TUI as it was presented as a family hotel. However, this review is based solely on the hotel. The hotel is in a fantastic location and the breakfast was amazing. Dinner is on a similar level to all other hotels in the area and, as someone who has travelled to Lapland previously, it is very different from the UK anywhere you go in Lapland so don’t read too much into the reviews that say the food is terrible and awful, it’s not, it’s just very different from the UK. The hotel staff are welcoming and friendly, they will do what ever they can to accommodate help accommodate you and were overall lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples or small families.

Located in the center of Rovaniemi, there were many supermarkets and restaurants around and shopping malls. The office that was doing various activities was very close and helpful. The lobby is large and has kids space and microwave oven, and you can also warm and eat frozen foods. The breakfast was also very delicious.

When I went there, I didn't know that check-in was done at the front desk of Santa's Hotel, my sister hotel Santa Claus, so I had to walk for about 10 minutes. However, it is easy to check out by simply placing it in the mailbox at the entrance of Santas Hotel Rudolf. They are very comfortable and stylishly furnished, and have many conveniences, such as shampoos, pots and teas, and hair dryers. The reception at the Santa Claus Hotel is very friendly and polite, so it has received more appreciation.

The most cost-effective accommodation in Finland. It took some time to find the front desk, and I was very satisfied with everything else! There is a large space for breakfast, and the bathroom provides a sauna room with bath towels and towels. I am really surprised! It snowed when we went, and we participated in the husky sledding activity. There was a 10[%] discount and the hotel was a partner. It was more affordable than ordering online in advance, so satisfied! The transportation is convenient. The bus is in the Holiday club, dozens of meters away from the front desk, and the supermarket is about 600 meters away. There is also a public sauna, but it is too cold to go out. It is more convenient to enjoy in the room! Will choose here next time I go...

Absolutely amazing hotel, everything was highly satisfying and exceptional. The apartment is clean, spacious and modern, features a very well equipped kitchen, a private sauna, a great sized bathroom, a nicely furnished living room with a dining area and a separate bedroom. We liked that here are enough place for your stuff as there are spacious wardrobes in the apartment, so you could feel yourself totally at home, as you don't need to dress up from your luggage. Heat was perfect, we never felt cold. Bed is very comfy and has a great size. The area is quiet, calm and yet centered, easy to reach anything by walk. Last, but not least the staff was very nice and friendly all the time, they helped us whenever we had a question and never had to wait even for a minute at the reception to get someone who could help us. I have stayed at most of the worldwide known hotel chains and this hotel has definitely overperformed many of the big names. Would love to come back and I wish we could stay here for weeks or even for months as well. :)

The balcony of the room was facing a small wood, and the scenery after the heavy snow was beautiful. In addition to Finnish and English, there are Japanese in the hotel. No wonder there are many Japanese tourists here, but most of them are middle-aged and elderly. After the Spring Festival, I made a lap in Lapland. There are only few Chinese in Surrey. The ski area here is also very empty, but the snow quality is first-rate.

Due to the placement of the rooms, it might be challenging for some people, especially older folks, to move from reception to their rooms to carry their baggage. There are no WiFi, TV, fridge, or desk phone in certain rooms. Most likely a one-time experience to stay and that's about it.

We were lucky enough to win a week in the Holiday Club in a draw from Inghams Holidays! My lady gave way to a silver-tongued salesperson at an event and gave her email address never believing it would ever be her that wins. Then she nearly deleted the notification email as it was probably a scam. And so we were off to lands well north of the Arctic Circle in the middle of January. Neither of us were skiers so we weren’t sure what to expect. And we are both in our mid-70s so we weren’t going to take many risks. It's a three-hour coach trip from Kittila Airport to Saariselka including a 20-minute rest stop. The first stop in Saariselka was to get issued with heavy overalls, snow boots and mittens which are vital for temperatures of around -25c to -30c which was what we experienced. The hotel is in the centre of town and most places are walkable. Temperatures indoors were pleasant, not hot, but to go outside needed around 20 minutes to put on the kit to go outside. While we were there the sun rose about 11 am and set around 2.30 pm but there was another hour or two of reasonable light. The rooms were basic with twin beds easily pushed together and the continental individual duvets. Bathroom was fine. Lighting in the room was OK but could have been brighter. There’s a TV but the only English programmes were subtitled. The rooms aren’t serviced during the stay but we asked the rep and he organised the cleaners to change towels and empty bins mid-week. We had half-board so breakfast and dinner were buffet service and the food was filling and plentiful. My lady is vegetarian and the rep told the kitchen and they provided a fresh-cooked vegetarian dish for every dinner just for her which was easily added to with the salads and vegetables on the buffet. Dinner was usually soup with two main meat or fish courses plus plentiful bread, vegetables and salads. There was usually just one choice of sweet plus endless hot drinks and an adjacent bar. During the week we were there large numbers of French came and went plus some oriental parties. A couple of times we encountered a rather full house but the turnover of tables is quick and the food doesn’t seem to run out. There is a swimming pool which seems to be for play rather than swimming plus a sauna and a spa but we didn’t try them. There’s no gym. Inghams offered excursions such as husky driving, reindeer farm visits, skiddoos plus there is a regular public bus service to the ski lifts. We found it delightful to walk the signed trails in the hills – a walking pole is useful. The silence in the woods is wonderful. Everyone wants to see the Northern Lights but that is entirely by luck. During our week there were plenty of sightings but the quality was not good. Enough to show you have seen them but not enough to be thrilled. Plenty of green but no reds or blues. I never knew that the vague wisps of white cloud can be seen as green by taking a picture! Inghams offered excursions such as husky driving, reindeer farm visits, skiddoos plus there is a regular public bus service to the ski lifts. We found it delightful to walk the signed trails in the hills – a walking pole is useful. The silence in the woods is wonderful. Everyone wants to see the Northern Lights but that is entirely by luck. During our week there were plenty of sightings but the quality was not good. Enough to show you have seen them but not enough to be thrilled. Plenty of green but no reds or blues. I never knew that the vague wisps of white cloud can be seen as green by taking a picture!
