My good impression of this hotel comes entirely from the cute uncle who helped me carry my luggage. The hotel sit atop a hill overlooking the desert hills - a wonderful view, about a 10-min. drive from the Petra visitor center. All the staff we met, from the security guards, to the bellman, the front desk, the restaurant - were just SUPERB. All of them. The lobby is inviting and warm, the restaurant is spacious and with lots of sunshine. Dinner buffet had a very nice variety and decent quality, yet overpriced. Breakfast had a wonderful variety with good quality. The room was very clean, and looked like it was built last year - very well maintained. Although the building looks very new, overall, the hotel is overpriced a bit. Overall, an excellent choice for Petra.

Beautiful interior, love the ambiance of lobby lounge and Al Iwan restaurant, food is delicious! Excellent location, just opposite Petra Visitor Centre, ATM can be found next to the Centre and only charge a small fee compared to ATM at airport. Unfortunately, not every superior room comes with a balcony therefore i don’t see what’s the difference compared to classic category. And AC/heater in room smell like kitchen, not sure because our room was just above the back kitchen. After all, it’s a mixed feeling about the hotel.
