We stayed at Dormy Inn Aomori in a twin bed room and had a very pleasant experience. We were assigned a high-floor room on the 12th floor with a beautiful ocean view, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The room was spacious, and the beds were large and very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The hotel is well-equipped with excellent hot spring facilities, including both indoor and outdoor baths as well as a sauna — a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring Aomori.
Hotel breakfast is delicious and many choices.
We also appreciated the practical amenities provided. The laundry machines are free to use, with a 30-minute wash cycle. The dryer costs only 100 yen for 20 minutes, which is very convenient for longer stays. The room also features a large, modern TV, and the hair dryer provided is a premium Refa brand, which was a nice touch.
Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay with great onsen facilities and thoughtful amenities. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Aomori.

YYonglandeningmengHotel Relabo boasts an excellent location right next to the JR station. You can take an elevator directly from the station's third floor, via a connecting passage, to the hotel's reception on the fourth floor – super convenient! A highlight of the hotel is its hot springs, and they also offer yoga activities, though we didn't participate since we don't speak Japanese. Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy the hot springs for free. Female guests are escorted into the bathhouse by staff, which feels very safe. After a relaxing soak, you can grab an ice pop or head to the observation deck to enjoy some biscuits and apple juice while taking in the views – truly the essence of a laid-back vacation. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly during breakfast, which was Western-style and absolutely delicious.

HHenrylamckOn the first night of my arrival, I clearly informed the hotel staff about my dietary restrictions. I understood that they couldn't accommodate them that night, as the friend who booked the hotel for me hadn't notified them in advance. Afterward, a female staff member jotted down my list of restricted foods, and I expected them to be properly arranged for the second night. Unfortunately, on the second night, I still found food that I couldn't eat being served. When I pointed this out to the staff, they simply told me that their hotel couldn't accommodate such dietary requests for guests. If that's the case, what's the point of noting down a customer's dietary restrictions? And why didn't you communicate this clearly to the customer on the first night?
After speaking with the manager, they eventually agreed to waive the dinner cost for one of us.
The hotel is quite old, so the facilities are a bit dated, but still acceptable.

GGuest User✅ Highly recommend ART Hotel Aomori! The Nebuta lanterns in the lobby create an amazing atmosphere, and the free apple juice is delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of local Aomori specialties. It's also within walking distance to the city center. Definitely a great choice for a trip to Aomori.

MmagpieeI tried the Japanese-style room. The location is very close to central Hirosaki, and there's a shuttle service to JR Hirosaki every morning, though you need to book it in advance.
The open-air onsen was a novel experience! After soaking, there were ice cream and ramen available.
The front desk offers fully self-service check-in and check-out, which was very convenient, and the service was excellent.

First of all a carpet in my room have fungi smell + cigarettes smell, so this is not what we request non smoking room, due to my allergies. Also air purifier filter need to be change it smell and seem dirty.

JJessie0624Stayed for two nights in a triple room from July 9-11, 2026. I brought friends here eight years ago and found the environment and kitchen facilities to be pretty good. There are hot spring tickets available for purchase and use at the neighboring hotel. It's super convenient and flexible for visiting Oirase Stream, Lake Towada, and Hakkoda Mountain. Since it wasn't peak season in summer, the quality of stay was really great! The room had air conditioning, which was a blessing on those hot summer days – kept us nice and cool.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite close to the train station, and the bathroom is particularly spacious. The front desk service is very friendly, and it's convenient to grab toiletries yourself. There's a convenience store downstairs, a mall across the street, and plenty of dining options nearby.

Mmaychow84We were the only occupants for the night when we arrived soaking wet after walking from Same. The owner was very lovely and accommodating in providing us with old newspapers for us to dry our shoes and also allowed us to use the in-house washing machine to wash our clothes. Both dinner and breakfast prepared were very wholesome and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here

AAnonymous User(+) Had a comfortable 2-night stay here. The lobby and lounge are very comfy, our room was spacious with a nice view of Aomori city and the sea! Would recommend guests to check-in before 5PM so you can try several apple juices from the lounge. Breakfast was great with many local dishes including the famous Kaiyaki-miso and Ika-menchi. The staff were very nice, professional, and accommodating. Would love to stay here again next time. Parking space is also a plus point (1,000 JPY/ night)
(-) The location is somewhat far from the station, 20 mins by foot or 5 mins by car. Taking a taxi from Aomori station costed us about 1,100 JPY.
