I stayed at Hatten Hotel Melaka and really enjoyed the central location. The hotel is connected to Dataran Pahlawan Mall, making it super convenient for shopping and food. Rooms are spacious with nice city views, and the facilities like the pool and gym are a plus. Service is generally friendly, though it can get busy during peak hours.
What I liked most is that many attractions are within walking distance A Famosa (Porta de Santiago) is just about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to, Melaka Hill and the Sultan Palace Museum. Perfect for exploring Melaka’s history without needing transport. Overall, a comfortable stay with a great location if you want both convenience and easy access to heritage sites.

I had a wonderful stay at Swiss Garden Hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is very strategic — just about 15-20mins walk to the Red House, Jonker Street, and the riverside, where you can find plenty of nice bars, local food, and spots to explore. The free private parking was a big plus, especially for those driving in.
Highly recommended for travelers looking for a relaxing and hassle-free holiday — a perfect place to chill and enjoy Melaka at your own pace.

Good:
Welcome cookie!
A few cool things about the breakfast -
Fresh green salad
Teh tahrik cart (Raziq was awesome!)
Charcoal toast
Infinity pool with great views
Steam and Sauna
Weird:
Insisted that we could only request for two pilllow on the pillow menu when we paid for an extra bed had to request three times before the reception relunctantly agreed.
Room is spacious and clean. Bed is huge and comfy. Double pillows. Separated toilet and shower rooms. Far from malacca town which is good because it won't let too crowded and have traffic jam. Freeborn outlet os just a few minutes away and there are free shuttle bus to go there..the hotel is good value for money.
Downside: there is zero sound proofing between connecting rooms. We can literally hear every single word clearly as if the people next door are in our room. If not for the disturbance (baby crying throughout the night), we would have a lovely deep sleep.
overall rly liked my stay! good value for money
- spacious room, relatively clean. there’s a desk + chair in the room, as well as a chair (?) for your luggage
- shower has good water pressure and heater was easy to use. aircon in the room was strong as well
- service at the front desk was prompt and warm
- location is good! near mahkota parade and a couple of other malls/shopping centres, with convenience stores like family mart & 7/11 within walking distance.
- also abt 15-20 min walk to jonker street
- amenities could be better — the gym was tiny and poorly maintained, with very little equipment.
- noted that they have a few restaurants but didn’t try the food! they did give me a free high tea voucher for 2 days of my stay though, which was a nice gesture.
Clean and quiet hotel . Spacious and all amenities are available . There is a capsule coffee machine in the room . But no cakes were sent to room as promised from the crew - for birthday celebration . Poor front desk service , a bit slow and unfriendly . Used to stay here several times but this time was not that pleasant . Check - in 3/7 @ 8.30pm ( the front desk lady was rude ) . Hope the hospitality service may be improved .
highly recommended to traveller. parking a bit far from hotel. clean n tidy room.. hotel smell so fresh. good staff..should improve facilities at the gym. too much machine under maintainen. no aircon.. one more thing why escalator infront hotel lobby was not function.

I love staying at Apple Premier Suites hosted by Maple. The team is easy to deal with, unlike some places, they have staff on site, so key collection is hassle free. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The location is also great, with plenty of eateries, convenience stores, and Jonker Walk just a 10-minute walk away.
However, cleanliness should be improved, especially the bathroom. The floor and walls need scrubbing as mould has started to form. Overall, I enjoy staying here and will definitely come back again.

The hotel's location is excellent, situated right next to the main road. The surrounding area offers a variety of pleasant and affordable dining options.
Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance to the riverside, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the water's edge. The scenic views of the historic shop houses make for a therapeutic and picturesque experience.

BBenjamin85It’s right beside Mahkota Medical Centre and right next to the pickup point at Hatten Hotel where the coach stops. Great location!
Room is clean and nice except the aircon is centralised air conditioning and cannot adjust the temperature. Room is rather warm (around 26 degrees). Requested for a standing fan but it’s not available.
Many eateries near the hotel that you can explore
MmiooI recently spent one night at the Asiatic Hotel in Malacca and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located within short driving distance of key attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and the Stadthuys, making it a good base for sightseeing.
The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The room itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the basic amenities provided, including complimentary bottled water, toiletries, and a kettle for making tea or coffee. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast enough for streaming and work.
While the hotel doesn’t have an in-house restaurant, there are several eateries and cafes nearby, and the staff was happy to give recommendations. Parking was easy and free, which is a big plus in Malacca.
If I had to mention a downside, the soundproofing could be better — I could occasionally hear hallway noise and other guests. But for a short stay, it wasn’t a major issue.
Overall, the Asiatic Hotel offers good value for money and is a solid choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, no-fuss stay in Malacca.
MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiI recently had the pleasure of staying at OYO 90899 Tube Hotel Melaka and the experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a truly memorable stay.
The check-in process was seamless, with the staff demonstrating exceptional hospitality and efficiency. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident, from the elegant lobby adorned with tasteful decorations to the well-appointed rooms that exuded both comfort and style.
Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
Dining was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. The chefs' commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate.
The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Requests were handled promptly and with a genuine smile, adding a personal touch that made me feel like a valued guest.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, situated in close proximity to popular attractions, dining options, and shopping districts. Whether I was exploring the city or simply strolling through the nearby parks, everything was conveniently within reach.
In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Name] was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service created a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a refined and indulgent getaway. I look forward to returning to [Hotel Name] in the future for another unforgettable stay.
DDr Mohd ShaladdinI stayed at MITC Hotel for two days and one night. Its location is strategic, conveniently close to commercial centers and government offices. The room was clean and comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The price offered good value for the quality provided. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay here.
AAzuan ZainiFamily if 5 with 2A 3K. The hotel previously known as Puteri Resort. Smooth check in. Room are with 2 single bed (small size). Although the hotel name are Amverton, I've know it was Puteri Resort because used to give lecture here.
Rating: smooth check-in & check-out
Lobby - nice. Huge.
Rooms: Ok standard. But will know its a kind of an old hotel
Brakfast: quite OK with few variety of Malaysian food & western.
*been charged for two additional waterpark ticket which I feel, hotel shouldn't charge fee for it. ( 2 are already included with room). Its just feel like normal pool with kids slide. Thats all.
GGuest UserThe experience at The Majestic Malacca truly exceeded my expectations. The building itself is almost a century old, and the interior furnishings are exquisitely preserved and tastefully appointed. Breakfast is à la carte, offering a delightful spread of Portuguese, Malay, Indian, and Chinese options. The quality is superb, truly restaurant-grade; after such a meal, I hardly felt the need to dine elsewhere. If I had to nitpick, the only minor drawback is that the hotel isn't within walking distance of the main tourist area, requiring a short taxi ride. However, taxis are inexpensive, so I highly recommend staying at The Majestic when you visit Malacca.
