As I had a 6am flight, I chose to stay the night at TRIBE due to its convenient walking distance to the airport. I also selected it over other nearby options because it's a relatively new hotel, and I was happy to pay a bit more for cleanliness and comfort.
The hotel does look stylish from the outside, and the public spaces are well-designed. However, the room itself was a disappointment. Cleanliness was not up to standards, which was a major letdown. When I pulled back the duvet, I found dirt marks and hair inside the covers. It made me extremely uncomfortable, and I ended up not sleeping under the covers at all because it just didn’t feel clean.
Additionally, they used off-brand coffee capsules instead of proper Nespresso ones, which felt like a small but noticeable cost-cutting move for a hotel in this price range.
Overall, the location is convenient and the design is nice, but the lack of attention to basic cleanliness really undermined the experience.
Great location and very clean hotel. Comfortable for a short stay and close to the Trafford Centre. Nearby tram makes this location great.
Good parking and friendly staff.
Breakfast a bit disorganised and lack of food choices for dinner. However very good value and customer care was excellent.

Very beautiful downstairs/reception area. You are expected to check in using a machine.
There was a tea and coffee station on the same floor as my room which was good (no tea/coffee in the room)
The rooms are good (mine only cost a few pounds more than the Travelodge, for the same night). But the downside for me is that the rooms seem very over-engineered. A bit like it was someone's vanity project to create a hotel like this, rather than
considering what makes guests lives easier.
Overall I'm glad I stayed and experienced it and I do recommend it as a good hotel.

Honestly has to be one of the nicest hotels ive ever been in and definitely in such a great location to the co-op live arena up the road. Bed was super comfy, shower was bliss and the little kitchen bit was adorable. 10/10 will definitely come back here for future visits to manchester!
It was convinient to travel to Ethihad stadium and city center if you have a car. It might be difficult if you want to only use pilublic transport. The room was clean and the breakfast was also good
The hotel location is quiet and a couple of hundred yards from the tram. It is the other side of the quay from Media City that offers a large variety of restaurants.
The hotel was clean and tidy albeit basic. The bed was comfortable but the pillows needed replacing.
The hotel breakfast was fine and good value.
The hotel is in a great location, very close to both the train station and Terminal 2 (though some of the roadworks around the area are a little confusing this isn't the hotel's fault). It has a bar and small restaurant with a pool table downstairs, along with some vending machines. The restaurant does things like pizza, burgers, simple pastas etc.; I got in the lift with someone taking some pizza back to their room and it smelt amazing so I had to get one! A little bit pricey, but that's kind of expected for airport hotel food, though it was worth it as the pizza was freshly made. Very convenient being able to take it up to my room and chill out. The room itself was more than adequate, clean and had everything you need. I'm not really sure what more they could do to improve things at the kind of prices you pay for hotels like this. In fact in some ways it was better than more expensive hotels in the area simply because I liked having the vending machines on site to buy a drink or little snack late at night where other hotels have long shut up everything and there's no one about and nothing to buy. It was over £20 a night cheaper than other hotels in the area at the time I booked it so again, I really don't know what else you can ask for. I did try to book a stay on my return but prices had gone up and it was the same price to stay at one of the nicer hotels nearby; if that's the case then by all means go for the nicer hotel but if you're early enough to take advantage of the cheaper prices this place offers it's definitely worth it. Negative reviews seem to focus on there being no hairdryer (who cares, bring your own) or Chinese people complaining about there being no bottled water or slippers something; I'd rather save £20 on the room than some pointless gesture like free bottled water and slippers. Someone mentioned they couldn't check in until 3pm... isn't that the normal check in time for hotels? What are these people smoking, honestly.
Enjoyed our brief stay here. Came in from China in the morning, but check-in was at 3:30pm. Phoned in advance for earlier check-in and accommodated us, so could have a quick shower and get to the races for 3pm. Distance is not far for walking as long as you have suitable footwear (15 minutes).
Breakfast very nice, good range and Trisha was good waitress.
Reception booked a taxi back to the train station in advance and came on time as planned.
The front desk staff were incredibly slow; even at 3 PM, our room was still not ready. On the positive side, the room itself was quite clean. However, a significant issue was that despite having the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on, housekeeping still entered the room to change towels. The air conditioning worked well. The hotel's location is convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the train station, and it has an elevator. A minor detail missing was the absence of complimentary tea bags or coffee in the room. Overall, compared to other Ibis hotels, this one was quite disappointing.

AAdventure BuddyWe love this hotel’s style and design, very beautiful. It’s close to the train station and is in city centre. The room is a bit small than expected, so its a bit overpriced. Just book the normal/ standard room is fine next time i guess.
GGuest UserThis is an amazing hotel great location right in the centre near the shops a short walk from couple of train stations. Very friendly and polite staff nothing was too much trouble we were able to drop our bags early doors so we weren’t carrying them round and they were in the room when we checked in. Checking in and out was easy no problems fab bar area we booked our table for teatime just incase it got busy as we had a voucher towards evening meal which was lovely! Room was a good size clean and modern with little touches bed and pillows amazing! Overall a fantastic experience would definitely recommend to anybody and would return myself. A huge thank you to the staff especially the young gentleman (sorry didn’t get his name) who looked after us from dropping bags off to checking in to helping with purchases and leaving he was a credit to the Brewdog Hotel very friendly made the time, amenable nothing was too much trouble for him went above and beyond to make our stay a great one!
