Impeccable service, very friendly room. I heard that it is a century-old hotel. There are not many rooms, so there are not many people in the hot springs, so the experience is very good. There is an open-air wind, you can watch the snow in the hot springs, very flavorful. The meal is very good, the dinner is Japanese, and the breakfast is buffet. Self-service has Western-style bread coffee, as well as natto rice with noodles and soup. My snow boots came back without a shoe cabinet and disappeared. The whole hotel staff helped me find it, and the uncle who managed the shoe rental kept apologizing. If I can't find it, I will prepare a pair of snow boots for me.
The facilities in the hotel are complete, there is a kitchenette, laundry, dryer, and massage chair, very comfortable, not far from the pick-up station, about 5 minutes walk, there is a small night grocery store next to the connection station, you can buy snacks first.
Choosing KKR Yuzawa Yukiguni during my trip to Echigo Yuzawa was truly an excellent decision. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station, up a slight hill, but it was quiet, and the room was pre-heated, making it warm and comfortable. What I particularly loved was the dinner kaiseki and breakfast; the ingredients were fresh, the presentation was substantial, and the taste was absolutely delicious. Also, the view from the large public bath felt like looking at a framed painting. If you're going to Echigo Yuzawa, I highly recommend it!
The foreign language level of the front desk is average, and they can't communicate well in foreign languages. When checking in, I had to wait for a long time because other guests were invoicing. There was a smell of cigarettes in the non-smoking room. I had to open the window for ventilation by myself, and it was still very cold. The lid of the kettle was broken, but it could still be used normally. The front desk bowed and apologized many times, but that was all they could do. Not far from the train station, relatively quiet.
Thank you for your help for 3 nights and 4 days. The food was very delicious and I was full. I enjoyed the bath for a long time, as it was open from 15:00 to 10:00 the next day. I enjoyed watching the dances such as the illumination of Sado Kanayama and Sado Okesa during the night activities. Thank you for your help!
Facilities: Typical Japanese style. The hotel is not very new, but it is very warm and recommended.
Cleanliness: The hotel is not very new, but every corner is clean.
Environment: Yahiko Village is very comfortable and very suitable for walking around slowly.
Service: The reception staff are two old ladies. They are very polite. It can be seen that they love life and their work. The experience is great.
It was an old folk house more than I imagined.
トイレ and Fenglu は are common.
There are no taverns or convenience stores if you don't walk a little.
However, it feels like an old Japanese house. The atmosphere of decoration and corridor cannot be tasted anywhere else.
I want you to stay once.
Keiko was a lovely host. She was super friendly and welcoming to the area. She was available for any questions we had and was also able to provide a freshly cooked breakfast/dinner at a very small cost. There was free parking behind the accommodation which was great as we had our own entry/exit after hours.
The room was spacious, but while the heating wasn't very strong, the bedding was extremely warm and comfortable.
Would be more than happy to stay here again any time we're in the area!
