The facilities and hospitality of the hotel mentioned above are close to full marks.
On the other hand, unfortunately the cleaning of the hot spring bath is not so good, and there is nothing that can be done about the quality of the hot spring water.
And the quality of the dinner. The number of dishes is more than enough, but I would like them to take the taste more seriously.
I would like food that tastes good, not just the price.
Overall, I was very satisfied.
There's a children's play area, the large communal bath has an open-air hot spring, and it's generally spacious and nice.
That said, it can't be helped that it gets crowded.
There are also times when you can enjoy free drinks, which is great.
If I had to say something, I would say it would be great if the buffet menu didn't change and if there were two types of baby food instead of just one.
thank youso much🥰🥰so very nice place, the staff are so very supportive, very near in tobu world square & tobu world square station,The hotspring is so good especially the strong mist sauna & the overall complete amenities.esp.horse oil shampoo & conditioner,& so nice yokatta.I like also the space in veranda,co'z i can smoke anytime & the freshness invironment.the comfortable bed.The very good breakfast.Overall, supportive staff 100 percent.Thank you so much always trip.com
first of I would like to thanks always trip.com for very nice & convinient bookings everytime,we stay new sakura hotel, because the interior of the hotel is mostly sakura theme, the carpet, the gorgeous chandelier, the wall design, etc.or cherry blossom in Japan,& so very affordable prize,we spend only 18,000 yen for 2 adults, with 2 breakfast & 2 dinner.Very near from kinugawa onsen station, only 3 hrs.from Tokyo. We amazed the room,so very big for the two of us,for very cheap prize, can accomodate even 10 person, the buffet breakfast & dinner also is so good but the most I want to share is the drink all you can alcohol beverages for 1 hour, like beer, japanese wine, sours, all kinds of softhdrinks,I enjoyed for self service alcohol drink all you can!the hotspring also is very good but the cons is take care in the outdoor spring because of the concrete stairs, especially for the elderly when slippery, there's
& a little bit far from our room, the young staff also at the counter is nice & most of them are young japanese lady,so very entertaining,so many free amusement like billiard, majong, etc.with a nice sorrounding sightseeng site.& last after check out they give 2000 yen discount coupon for the next visit,Thanks God & trip.com for a nice autumn tour moment in kinugawa onsen Tochigi Perfecture Japan
Kinugawa Ace Hotel, the service is superb, although the front desk does not understand English very well, but communication is smooth, the place is very large, the hotel is magnificent and luxurious, there are private hot springs, there are also outdoor open-air hot springs, there are many shops in the hotel, enough to satisfy the guests' shopping without leaving the house, adults and children also had a lot of fun, highly recommended.
Even if the ingredients are used up due to the buffet, they will not be refilled, and unless you tell them, they will not be added. By the way, it's not the content of the buffet that makes me want to eat more. The correspondence relationship at the front desk is good, but the correspondence relationship between the people at the dining place is not good.
The swimming pool is crowded, but it feels good.
There is also a dinosaur monument, so I think children can enjoy it.
By the way, it is free for children under 12 to sleep together, but there is usually an extra charge.
I like the open-air bath very much, and I often go there with my family. The transportation is convenient, and there are pastures and amusement parks nearby, allowing the children to have a good time.
The room is spacious, sanitary, and the washing is very good. The cleanliness of Japan is beyond doubt. The hotel is a comprehensive hot spring hotel. The buffet breakfast and dinner are very rich. It is worth experiencing
The service is attentive, the food in the restaurant is delicious, the room is clean, and the outdoor hot spring pool can only be described as 👍. However, the location is relatively remote and it is inconvenient to take a taxi. Fortunately, the counter staff was very enthusiastic to help call a taxi, and it was included in the pocket list.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe exterior of the hotel is pretty, but the interior of the hotel is dated and needs a bit of updating. There were parts of the hotel that were completely shut down (maybe there are saving up enough money to one day renovate). However the facilities and rooms are well maintained and the onsens are beautiful and peaceful. There are 2 main onsens, that are separated by men and women. Each day the onsens are switched, in the morning you will go to one, and in the evening before dinner you can experience the other onsen. Onsite there is a really nice restaurant and gift shop that featured local products at reasonable prices. There is a 24 hour coffee/tea station that is free to use. It's a short 10 minute walk from Kinugawa Onsen Station. When you arrive they provide you a yukata to wear while you are staying at the hotel. The rooms are spacious with options for a western bed or japanese style (sleeping on the floor). We opted for the western bed to be higher off the ground as we thought it would be colder to sleep on the ground. Although the rooms are very well heated and was a bit too warm, that we needed to open the window to cool the room down. The rooms have nice views of the countryside. They provide a pitcher of ice water in the room and you can go to the front desk to refill with ice if more is needed. The bathroom is quite large and has both a shower and toilet in a separate room of the bathroom; although we mostly bathed in the onsen. There is a 7-eleven nearby that was open 24 hours, but otherwise there isn't much else around the hotel. Also the town of Kinugawa Onsen closes quite early, around 8pm it's quite deserted. We were there at the end of November 2024, and it seemed that the hotel was mostly unoccupied, so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was a very nice one night stay.

KKongkongwukongkongAn old hot spring hotel! Breakfast and dinner are really cost-effective! The food is delicious, from fish to small pots! Appetizer strawberry wine, hot tea and dessert after dinner! The hot spring is also quite good. We are the family of four adults with children. It is a very satisfying stay experience! I have lived in a lot of expensive places before, but it feels similar. Cost-effective leverage, praise!
