Staff greeted warmly, was able to check in slightly earlier even if it was 30mins early. Room was relatively clean and bed is comfortable, the view was astounding. It was worth the price I paid for! (Glad to come across the discounted prices) There's BHC chicken, minimart and CU convenience store too, also other restaurants. Should you prefer another convenience store, there is a e-mart next to the hotel and a lot of the raw fish restaurants down the road. Though quite of a distance from the downtown city, taxi fares are relatively affordable. Great experience! Nevertheless will definitely come back to stay again if opportunity arises.

눈 뜨자마자 마주한 동해 바다, 잊지 못할 호캉스였어요 객실 문을 열자마자 통창으로 쏟아지는 강릉 바다 뷰에 감탄이 절로 나왔습니다. 침대에 누워 파도 소리를 듣는 것만으로도 그동안 쌓인 스트레스가 싹 풀리는 기분이었어요. 특히 아침에 굳이 밖으로 나가지 않고 객실에서 편안하게 감상한 일출은 정말 환상적이었습니다. 룸 컨디션도 청결하고, 침구도 포근해서 바다를 보며 '물멍'하기에 최적의 장소였습니다. 뷰 하나만 보고 와도 돈이 아깝지 않은 곳, 낭만적인 강릉 여행을 원하신다면 강추합니다! 오션뷰 호텔을 여러 군데 다녀봤지만, 여기만큼 뷰와 시설 모두 만족스러운 곳은 드물었습니다. * 전망: 테라스에서 바라보는 에메랄드빛 바다가 그림 같습니다. 사진보다 실물이 훨씬 예뻐요. * 청결: 욕실 물때 하나 없이 깨끗했고, 어메니티 향도 좋아서 기분 좋게 사용했습니다. * 서비스: 체크인부터 체크아웃까지 직원분들이 항상 웃으며 응대해 주셔서 대접받는 느낌이었습니다. 근처 맛집이나 카페 거리와도 가까워서 위치도 최고였네요. 다음 강릉 여행 때도 고민 없이 여기로 예약할 것 같습니다. 바다 위에 떠 있는 기분이 들 정도로 뷰가 압도적이에요. 침구도 푹신하고 방음도 잘 돼서 꿀잠 잤습니다.호텔 바로 앞 해변 산책로가 너무 좋았습니다.

It was a last minute reservation we have made to enjoy our national holiday and it surely was a great decision! The location of this resort is in prime spot right next to the Dae-po dock where for the seafood lovers you are in for a delight of fresh and cost efficient sashimi and steamed crabs. Not only that, the resort itself was very resourceful for the families who bring their youngs - massive indoor playground - arcade for the little gamers - quiet family friendly walk way into the shorelines - indoor water park (Stopping here because my fingers hurt trying to write everything down!) Lastly, the rooms were cleaned at exceptional quality with the ocean view. Definitely coming back here next year!

Good: Very spacious room with great view and a balcony! Bathroom had a rain shower. Walkable to Yeonggeumjeong Pavilion which has great night view. Bus opposite hotel goes directly to Seoraksan. Walking distance to Intercity Bus Terminal. Bad: 1. Front desk. I asked about the swimming pool when it was before 9PM. Official closing time was 10PM and last entry was 9:30PM. Front desk staff told me the swimming pool entry has closed for the day even though it's not 9PM yet. 2. Only had housekeeping once even though I stayed for 4 nights. This was not explained during check in.

The elevator was uncomfortably hot because the air conditioning wasn't working, and it felt especially cramped when it was full. This definitely needs improvement. However, the facilities were excellent and very comfortable, and the overall layout was well-designed. What's more, unlike the heated pool in Sokcho which had an unpleasant odor, Samcheok's was perfectly clean and odorless. I'd definitely love to go back.

The location is so good that I visit often~~^^ Even though it's old, I visit often because I like the beach walk. I recommend the hotel because it's cleaner than the resort. I especially recommend the ocean view even if it costs a little more. It's worth it~~^^ I was in room 515, and the plaza was visible, and the bathroom was relatively clean.

The property in nicely located near the ski slopes and with 5 min walk you can star your day skiing. We are a bit disappointed on how the reservation has been managed by Trip.com we have been assigned 2 Executive Suites for two adults and one child of 12 years old when 1 room would have been more than enough to accommodate three guests! That’s shameful! Room service end at 9:30 PM which in my opinion it’s a bit too early for a 5 star hotel like this one. Also a bit ridiculous to ask for an ice bucket 5.000 KRW against the coat of 570.000 KRW of one room only!! My sincere appreciation and gratitude to Mr.Koh the Concierge that has been extremely helpful and kind to us during the whole stay. Kudos to him!!!

Good experience with Legoland Resort Hotel! The location is very close to the Legoland Park. Many facilities within the hotel, but nothing to play in the legoland in winter. Most of the games was closed. Hopefully we can spend a whole day in the hotel.

Did not book the bus from Incheon airport to Alpensia Ski resort, end up no transport so have to spend $460 on international taxi.  Location of hotel is at the centre so it is close to ocean 700 and ski700 .  Hotel guest enjoy discount for snow sledding, skiing . Room was facing the ski slope so view is great .

As a new hotel, I was naturally very satisfied with the facilities. The pool had ample sunbeds, a jacuzzi, a sauna, and most importantly, the infinity pool with its ocean view was a great place to enjoy. Since it's a new hotel, I'll share some of the shortcomings I noticed for the sake of improvement. 1. An unidentifiable smell in the hallway I was on the 6th floor, and as I got off the elevator and walked down the hallway, I could faintly smell something like a sheep or llama enclosure. I was curious about what was causing the smell. 2. Breakfast It's no exaggeration to say that half of the reason I go on a staycation is for the hotel breakfast. While the food wasn't terribly bad, the variety of food was limited. Granted, they do have a lot of bakery items, but I'm not a huge fan of bread. ㅠ I'm an adult, so I'll be okay with it, but my elementary school-aged daughter said it was absolutely disgusting... 3. Swimming Pool I was very pleased with the facilities, but the lack of a discount for guests on the pool was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if that's the case for a 5-star hotel, but~ I don't know about other aspects, but I'd go back if the breakfast was improved. Still, my daughter had a blast at the pool and had a great time.
