Spacious family room consisting of 2 connecting rooms.
Day bed is huge enough to sleep 2 preschoolers while sofa bed can sleep 1-2 primary school children. Bathrooms are big, towels are lush, toiletries are adequate. Just a few steps away from eateries and the beach.
Good thing about this apartment is, air cond is good, and it’s relatively clean. I will write what I see, the bedsheets and quilt cover is full of stains, it’s really time to change new sets. There is no separate air cond split unit inside small room with single bed. The under sink pipe in dining area came off during our stay, good thing is management sent repairman within 30minutes. Quite a number of eateries near the apartment, this is a plus point. Beach access was good.
TFantastic Family Escape – Kids Loved the Pool & Beach!
Rating: 4.5/5
We had an absolute blast at Swiss-Garden Kuantan! If you’re looking for a family getaway that keeps the kids entertained, this is the spot.
The Highlights:
Kid-Approved: The pool area with the slide was a massive hit—my kids (3, 9, & 11) couldn't get enough of it.
Beachside Bliss: The location is perfect, with easy access to a beautiful, clean beach that we really enjoyed.
Nightly Entertainment: The fire show for hotel guests was a fantastic surprise and a great way to end the day.
Top-Tier Service: A huge shoutout to the staff—they were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay.
Breakfast Win: The breakfast spread was seriously good!
Pro-Tip for Guests:
The breakfast buffet gets very busy during peak hours, and you might have to wait for a table. My advice: plan your timing to head down a bit earlier to beat the rush and secure your spot comfortably.
Antara Hotel is relatively new, and we were genuinely impressed with our stay. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. As both my husband and I are light sleepers, we always hope for a quiet environment when traveling, and the room we booked exceeded our expectations in that regard.
One of our favorite features was the balcony with a lovely view. We spent the evening enjoying some beer and snacks while taking in the cool breeze, which was a wonderful way to unwind. The bed was comfortable, and I especially liked the bedroom layout. Having a separate bedroom with a door helped reduce noise and made the stay even more restful.
The bathroom was another highlight. It was spacious, clean, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day.
That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. At a room rate of around RM400+ per night, it would be nice if hand towels or face towels were provided in addition to bath towels. Also, bottled drinking water is not provided. Instead, the hotel uses a water filtration machine that dispenses purified water directly from the tap.
The location is connected to Genting via a link bridge, but be prepared for about a 15-minute walk. Younger guests will likely find it manageable, but I would not recommend the walk for elderly visitors. Fortunately, the hotel provides buggy rides to the escalator area, which helps save energy and is probably one of the most convenient services offered.
Overall, the rooms are cozy, comfortable, and offer good value for the price. If you prefer being just a few minutes away from your room while exploring Genting, you may want to stay at Genting Grand or First World Hotel instead. However, if you don’t mind a short stroll and prefer a quieter, more relaxing environment, Antara Hotel is definitely a good choice.
Before booking this hotel, I read some reviews. It's in the city center, so the location is good. However, there are a few things that fell short. The cleanliness was an issue; the bathroom had mold around the sink and inside the shower area. In the room, there were several dusty spots, as if it hadn't been properly cleaned. I've stayed in 2-star hotels before that were much cleaner. The lobby area was very hot. I asked the staff, and they said the air conditioning was being maintained. But I saw reviews from 8 months ago mentioning the lobby AC was still out. Check-in service took a little longer than expected.
The drop off and pick up place was at the side door instead of main lobby which made the GRAB pick up confusing.
Room is spacious and relatively clean. But, toilet can be cleaned more thoroughly as there seem to be a faint smell coming from it. And no hooks in the toilet to hang ur clothes. Water from the shower also seeped into the room.
Location is quiet, away from the main Genting area. Can either
- walk up the link way (about 20 min),
- walk down to the chin swee temple cable car stop and take a cable car up (RM10 per pax) or
- call a GRAB for RM30.
Good thing is that there are a couple of eateries and mini marts.
I recently stayed at Wyndham Ion Majestic and had a mixed experience. The hotel offers beautiful mountain views, a modern room design, and a cool climate that makes for a pleasant getaway. The property certainly looks impressive and has the potential to be a great destination. However, there were several areas that fell short of my expectations for a hotel that positions itself as a 5-star property.
Firstly, no hotel slippers were provided in the room, which is a basic amenity that most guests would expect at this level. In addition, only one bathrobe was available despite the room being occupied by two guests. These may seem like minor details, but attention to such details is what differentiates a true 5-star experience from an average one.
Another issue was the shower's hot water system. The water temperature fluctuated constantly between hot and cold every few seconds, making it difficult to enjoy a comfortable shower. This is something that should be addressed as it directly affects guest comfort.
The lift waiting times were also quite long during peak hours, and the hotel felt crowded at times. While this may be understandable due to high occupancy, better crowd and lift management would significantly improve the overall guest experience.
As for breakfast, it was decent but rather ordinary. The selection was acceptable, but nothing particularly stood out. For a hotel of this category, I was expecting a wider variety and a more memorable dining experience.
Overall, I enjoyed the scenery and the room itself, but the service details and facilities did not fully match the expectations associated with a 5-star hotel. With some improvements in maintenance, room preparation, and guest experience management, this property could easily become much better.
We reached the hotel at about 2.45 PM and were asked to wait for our room. Although check-in officially begins at 3 PM, our room wasn't ready until 4:20 PM. Inside, the bedroom was quite small (with an unusual sink-outside-bathroom layout) and the garden view was disappointing. However, the highlight of our stay was the beach. It is peaceful, clean, and beautifully shaded by trees. It’s a fantastic area for total relaxation.

Very Good
VVivienleeys96I stayed here recently and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is quite convenient—about 7 minutes from Awana Resort and around 20 minutes to SkyAvenue. There are also plenty of shops nearby where you can dine or pick up daily essentials, which made things very convenient.
The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the lifts were fast, so getting to the unit was easy. The unit itself is very spacious, especially for a couple, which made the stay comfortable.
That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. It would be great if the unit provided a kettle or a water filter for added convenience. Also, the water heater took quite a long time to warm up, and the water pressure in the shower was rather weak.
Overall, aside from these minor issues, everything else was very good and I would say it’s definitely worth the price.
GGuest UserStaff are extremely friendly, the place was a really relaxing and beautiful getaway. Although the beach was not sandy as it was filled with dead corals, snorkeling around the area was quite beautiful. The transport to the resort is also very convenient as they provide rides from the main village.
VVasanth Vignesh M RHad a wonderful stay at Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences, Genting Highlands. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help.
One of the highlights of my stay was the foot massage at the hotel, which was very relaxing after a long day. The food was also good, with a nice variety of options and great taste.
The breakfast area was quite crowded in the morning, but I visited during a long weekend, so that was understandable. Despite the crowd, the staff managed the situation well.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Great service, comfortable facilities, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Genting Highlands and would happily stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
FFadilyFirst of all, the garbage near the elevator at level 9 never been cleared from check-in until check-out. The sofas in front of the lift on the same level have never been cleaned.
There's a miscommunication regarding the complimentary BOH guided tour. During check-in, the staff was like never heard of it and said will follow-up and will contact us once they confirmed about it, but never did until the next morning, they called our room whether they would join the tour that morning. We thought it had been cancelled because we didn't receive any call from the hotel about the follow-up ever since.
Plus, when we arrived at the room, there were no towels and a few amenities such as the toothbrushes.
The bed might have mites because my partner experienced itchiness on the body.
The good things about this hotel are the scenic view from the room & the friendliness of the staff at the front desk.
GGuest UserMy friend and I each got a king room. Overall, the service and the hotel's garden design were excellent. The price is quite a good value for a villa-style resort of this caliber. There are gardeners maintaining the flowers and plants every day, creating a beautiful 'step-by-step changing scenery' effect. The only minor downside is that some facilities are a bit old, but any issues we raised were immediately resolved. The front desk staff had a slight accent, but for anyone who understands English, communication was perfectly fine.
There's a private beach area upfront where you can relax and watch the sea, which was a really nice touch. There are also cute little cats in the courtyard that will interact and play with you.
GGuest UserThe drop off and pick up place was at the side door instead of main lobby which made the GRAB pick up confusing.

GGuest UserThis is our first stay in ion delemen for 4D3N. The unit is very spacious and clean however we faced some difficulties as below.
1. Broken bedframe: One of the room bed is broken and we have reported to the reception immediately however no action was taken nor any updates was received. There are difficulties every time when we sleep on it as it is unstable.
2. Wifi connection: Throughout our stay, we unable to connect to hotel WiFi and no action was taken to rectify it.
3. Noisy door: There's a very annoying sound every time when we open or close the room door.
GGuest UserThe check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and proactive.
these were only minor inconveniences - the location being slightly difficult to access and the room a bit hard to find, everything else went well.
The room also offers a nice view—.The room was clean and well-organized, reflecting good housekeeping standards and attention to detail.
KKhairi AsyrafI recently stayed at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan and had a very pleasant experience. Jeff at the reception was very polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive an anniversary cake in our room after I had placed a special remark during booking — a very thoughtful gesture by the hotel.
Overall, we were very happy with the stay. The swimming pool using salt water was definitely a plus point and made the experience even better. The breakfast was good and the food tasted great as well. Highly appreciated the hospitality and service provided by the Marriott team. Never disappointed of choosing Marriott!
GGuest UserBased on my experience, a bit too far to reach 5 star accomodation
Good: location, service staff very polite, jungle environment make us feel cool everyday
Bad: private pool cleanliness of the pool can be considered worth based on my experience. unacceptable for human to use it. Too dirty and unefficient filteration system
Food very limited and tasteless
