The hotel is actually a boutique B&B. The facilities and room sizes are better in the town. The lake view from the window is beautiful, but the hotel is not in the most central location of the town. It is on the hillside. Fortunately, the whole town is not big, and it is less than 200 meters to the town center or the town entrance for the best photos and check-ins.

Spacious place with a working kettle and complimentary tea and instant coffee. Enough plugs to go around and toilet amenities were all great, although the water would splash and form a puddle below the toilet bowl. Floor, toilet, beds, pillows and comforters were all comfortable and clean. TV has decent channels and the cupboard had sufficient hangers. Also good amount of surface spaces to place our things and luggages. Great place with amazing value and very accessible with a tram station right outside the entrance! Service staff were very helpful and friendly, and fluent in English. Superb place!

Everything was perfect except that we had check-in at another hotel which is about 5 mins drive from where we booked. It would be nice to give us an information beforehand not surprise us by a little note on the property and told us to follow the location. There was no parking spot at all at the hotel we had to check-in. Good thing that I wasn't a solo traveller. I can't imagine how I could check-in since the check-in location is far from walking distance and there wasn't a spot to park at the check-in location.

Everything was clean and very well-equipped; we really enjoyed our stay. There was even a bath set, scented candle, two welcome chocolates, a small moisturizing spray, and makeup towels—all included. The shower with its adjustable lighting was a real highlight. 😄 All the staff responded to our questions and requests promptly, courteously, and professionally. 👍 Two minor issues were noted immediately so they could be addressed promptly. Breakfast was plentiful, and we could order additional items such as avocado toast, scrambled eggs, and soft-boiled eggs (at no extra charge). Any items that ran low were replenished upon request. Sitting outside under the awning was very pleasant in the summer heat. The location is also fantastic, right in town, yet with hardly any traffic noise. You can reach Lake Mondsee in just a few minutes. A private garage is available and very well-designed, although the parking spaces could be a bit wider and longer. The price/performance ratio was good for us; we even seem to have saved some money through the booking service. However, the outstanding tourist tax, which has to be paid at check-out, could have been mentioned somewhere beforehand. All in all, a top hotel for a relaxing holiday. 😎

Hotel on the main road of Bad Ischl, right next to a large supermarket and the Sissi patisserie. This time, my room had a security mirror by the window, offering a view of the street. The furniture in the room was all made of metal and quite noisy. The heating was extremely hot at night, so I had to sleep with the window open. There were no slippers, but a 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash was provided. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

This was the best hotel of the trip. The triple room had a sofa bed that was made up early, and the cleanliness seemed good. However, unlike in China where soiled towels are collected in designated bins, it was a bit dirty here. It was very clean to sleep in, and the facilities were good. The only downside was the slow hairdryer in the bathroom; in China, everyone uses Dyson, while abroad they use old-fashioned, stationary hairdryers. Overall, it was great, and I stayed two nights. Bad Ischl is beautiful, and the people there were very friendly. Cleanliness: Clean

Facilities: The hotel is rather old; don't have high hopes. The wooden beds are from the 1990s. The pictures of my private room showed a small greenhouse, but upon check-in, it was a downgrade. Also, arriving at 7 AM meant self-check-in was the only option, and the room was too small! Cleanliness: The bathroom sign said to put towels in the shower or bathtub for the next day's change, and I did, but they weren't changed! Service: During breakfast, two people came to verify my identity, interrupting my meal even though they didn't speak English. The second time they checked, I wondered if it was something else, but it turned out they just checked again because I had taken off my coat and put it on the back of the chair; they didn't recognize my face! After that, they kept saying ”mistake,” completely ruining my mood!

Great hotel and service. The lake-view room at Jingshan was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive; thank you. In every place, besides the beautiful scenery, the cultural elements make it even more memorable and unforgettable. The breakfast selection was also good. Overall, a great choice.

Breakfast has limited choice but quality is there over a buffet style. Pretty outdoor pool , sauna and chill area around the area. Also include a morning yoga session for my stay.
