The hotel is actually a boutique B&B. The facilities and room sizes are better in the town. The lake view from the window is beautiful, but the hotel is not in the most central location of the town. It is on the hillside. Fortunately, the whole town is not big, and it is less than 200 meters to the town center or the town entrance for the best photos and check-ins.

Spacious place with a working kettle and complimentary tea and instant coffee. Enough plugs to go around and toilet amenities were all great, although the water would splash and form a puddle below the toilet bowl. Floor, toilet, beds, pillows and comforters were all comfortable and clean. TV has decent channels and the cupboard had sufficient hangers. Also good amount of surface spaces to place our things and luggages. Great place with amazing value and very accessible with a tram station right outside the entrance! Service staff were very helpful and friendly, and fluent in English. Superb place!

Everything was perfect except that we had check-in at another hotel which is about 5 mins drive from where we booked. It would be nice to give us an information beforehand not surprise us by a little note on the property and told us to follow the location. There was no parking spot at all at the hotel we had to check-in. Good thing that I wasn't a solo traveller. I can't imagine how I could check-in since the check-in location is far from walking distance and there wasn't a spot to park at the check-in location.

Everything was clean and very well-equipped; we really enjoyed our stay. There was even a bath set, scented candle, two welcome chocolates, a small moisturizing spray, and makeup towels—all included. The shower with its adjustable lighting was a real highlight. 😄 All the staff responded to our questions and requests promptly, courteously, and professionally. 👍 Two minor issues were noted immediately so they could be addressed promptly. Breakfast was plentiful, and we could order additional items such as avocado toast, scrambled eggs, and soft-boiled eggs (at no extra charge). Any items that ran low were replenished upon request. Sitting outside under the awning was very pleasant in the summer heat. The location is also fantastic, right in town, yet with hardly any traffic noise. You can reach Lake Mondsee in just a few minutes. A private garage is available and very well-designed, although the parking spaces could be a bit wider and longer. The price/performance ratio was good for us; we even seem to have saved some money through the booking service. However, the outstanding tourist tax, which has to be paid at check-out, could have been mentioned somewhere beforehand. All in all, a top hotel for a relaxing holiday. 😎

Hotel on the main road of Bad Ischl, right next to a large supermarket and the Sissi patisserie. This time, my room had a security mirror by the window, offering a view of the street. The furniture in the room was all made of metal and quite noisy. The heating was extremely hot at night, so I had to sleep with the window open. There were no slippers, but a 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash was provided. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

The hotel didn't have many reviews on Ctrip, and the price was quite high, so I was a little apprehensive before coming, but I was still quite satisfied with my stay. Facilities: The hotel is new and well-equipped. It has a kettle and coffee machine, and the toiletries are an organic brand and smell very nice. There was only one bottle of water, which is typical for European hotels, but thankfully you can buy water at the supermarket in town. The hotel has a spa pool and sauna, which are probably free for guests. However, the hot spring temperature wasn't very high; I couldn't really feel the warmth… Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: It's a bit of a walk from the station, about ten minutes, through the town's main commercial street. But it's quiet and not far from the concert hall. Service: Excellent. The breakfast deserves special praise; it was very plentiful and delicious.

If you have the budget, ignore this review. I recommend staying during good weather, but if the weather is bad, like when it rained during my stay, the value for money is extremely low. Here's why: 1. The hotel's real advantage is the lake view and the hotel's lakeside facilities. If it rains, you can't enjoy these resources; after rain, the lakeside is shrouded in fog, visibility is extremely low, and you can't see anything. 2. The much-praised breakfast only wins in terms of presentation and photogenic appeal; it's actually very ordinary, with limited variety and not even reaching the standard of a typical hotel. Although there are made-to-order main dishes, the taste is also very average. 3. The rooms and bathrooms are relatively small and not very comfortable.
