HHaiThis is a good hotel to stay in Santiago, great location, clean/prompt room service, fairly new facilities. But not yet living to the claim of ”the best” hotel in Santiago from my experience.
I travelled with my family of 2 seniors, 2 adults and one 2yo toddler. I booked two rooms for two nights - delux king with view (1110) and club level king (1704). After check in, the experience is flawless: prompt room service, extremely friendly and accommodating staff and modern facility. Not to mention the views! However, pre/post check-in experience needs some polishing and made my experience imperfect:
- staff did not help at all when we arrived: no one helped us at all when we arrived in a uber (black) with 2 big luggage and a crying toddler at the hotel door. there is a bellboy holding someone elses' luggage and a security-looking guy in black suit standing there near our car. But no other guests they needed to attend to. They both just stared us from when we get out of our car, trying to grab the toddler that's running around crying, getting two big luggages from the trunk until half way into the revolving door. No one opened/held the car door, or even asked if we needed any help, they just stood there staring at us for the whole period! (maybe we were underdressed for the best hotel?) I almost thought their job was not to help guests out of their cars but apparently not the case with other guests.
- check out took so long and no special consideration for guests in a rush:They made a mistake in my final bill so I had to go through the line and talk to someone instead of dropping off the keys. even though I mentioned I have a flight to catch I still had to stay in the queue with other guests that are checking in. I was delayed by a good 20 minutes.... there was a long line but only 3/4 counters were used though there are plenty of staff.
Everything else was perfect. But being one of the most expensive hotels in Santiago I certainly expect a better experience with the above two points.

GGuest UserWe were very frustrated upon arrival as we had advised our flight and ETA and nobody was there to pick us up. We had to pay US$32.00 to take a taxi which was crazy and upon arrival at hotel we were told that the phones were donw (as we did try to call several times without a response). There should have been some form of communication even via Whats app or email and there was none. The phones had been down since 10 am that morning. Before storm started
In the evening we had dinner and the service of 3 people was super slow with a number of people being frustrated.
On the other hand next day for lunch we had Monica and she was amazing waitress.

The airport transfer service is complimentary and reliable.
Driver made clear instruction on pick up so that it was smooth.
Transfer to the airport was arranged on arrival to the hotel.
The room is big with high ceiling.
There is nothing to complain about the room.
Just there is no supermarket / restaurant near by the hotel.

Gg_soo23The Double Tree by Hilton Santiago is an incredibly neat and tidy hotel with magnificent views of the Andes, absolutely breathtaking. However, the room service app doesn’t work properly, leaving customers unsure if their orders went through. Despite this minor issue, it’s a great place to stay, and I do recommend it.

MMinianThe location is very good. There are subway stations and many cafes and restaurants nearby. The interior of the house is clean and bright, with complete facilities. It is very comfortable to live! Highly recommend to others to stay! The picture shows food from nearby restaurants🥰

AAnonymous UserThis is a relatively satisfactory one. The service is very good. From the door, there is always someone to help with luggage. The location is also very convenient. There is a large mall across the road. There is a supermarket inside. There are people who eat and drink coffee. The spa in this hotel is also very comfortable, in short, this is very cost-effective.

MMister StephenThis was my third stay here in the last week as I used the airport as a base for travel. Holiday Inn is perfect for this. Super easy to get to from both domestic and international airports. Easy check in. Helpful staff. Big bathroom. Comfortable bed. Great wifi. Good breakfast. Nice bar and relaxation area. This hotel comes with my strongest recommendation.

Location is just perfect. Three minutes from costanera center and 5 minutes from MUT.

GGuest UserAmazing hotel right in the heart of town, walking distance to the restaurants, parks and city center. The rooms are on the smaller side but it wasn’t a problem at all. We’ve enjoyed the view from the pool, their wine bar and restaurant and cozy lounge with free coffee and delicious desserts. Everyone in our party staying in Santiago longer have extended their stay. Definitely staying here again when back to Santiago.
