The location is fantastic, right outside the JR station and a 5-minute walk from Universal Studios Japan's entrance. There's a convenience store and shops downstairs – a perfect choice. We even went back to the hotel to rest when it got too hot at Universal Studios, then re-entered in the evening to continue the fun. After a long day of walking, a relaxing bath and soak at the top floor spa in the evening was exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was perfect, except for the crowds – too many people at breakfast and in the showers.

Right next to the busiest tourist area in Osaka and with access to large number of facilities., Spaworld is surely a top choice to stay. But actually, the day ticket only costs 1500 yen and overnight staying fee is 1300 yen, which means you don't really need to stay in the hotel to use everything and stay for a night, kind of like a SPA net cafe. The plus for using the hotel is that you allow yourself to enter anytime you want.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It was clean and had nice amenities! I will give perfect score if: 1. They had a better pillow. The Japanese pillow is very hard. It is like sleeping in a stone. 2. The onsen has women staff, it is such a surprise to see a woman doing things in such place with people who are naked. Is a man okay to serve in the women onsen? I think it was awkward for the woman worker. 3. The quilt is like silk, it slides down to the bed when you are sleeping. It is not so comfortable to sleep on. Other than these 3, everything is perfect. There is not much in the area of the hotel but It is 6 minutes walk away from Awaza station, a few stops away from Namba station (where is dotonbori) there is a 7/11 beside the hotel. I have not tried the breakfast, but there is a drink area open from 6-9 pm and you can get some beauty mask or other small things everyday in the reception. The receptionists are kind and polite and the hotel was quiet. The room is small but is convenient.

The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Fukushima Station. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, guiding me through the self-check-in kiosk and storing my luggage after checkout. If you arrive by airport limousine bus, you can get off at the final stop and walk about 15–20 minutes to the hotel. The room was very clean, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable that I fell asleep right away. I also appreciated the free ice machine on our floor, which was great for enjoying cold drinks. The housekeeping staff were wonderful as well—even though they spoke limited English, they kindly used translation devices to communicate with us. Overall, it’s great value at HKD 655 per night (note: there is an additional HKD 145 hot spring tax payable at the hotel).

This is my second time in Osaka, and I chose the Waldorf Astoria again. The room facilities are excellent, and it's super convenient to walk to all the major department stores in Umeda from the hotel's underground access. However, the breakfast was quite disappointing. Apart from congee, there were no other Japanese food options at the breakfast buffet, only an à la carte set. While it was very refined, for the price, there should definitely be more Japanese food options included in the buffet.

The nearby railway can seriously affect sleep and overall comfort, especially for light sleepers or guests staying in track-facing rooms. • Room preference is not guaranteed. Even if you request a higher floor or quieter room at check-in, the hotel may not be able to accommodate it. • Sound insulation seems weak. Guest reports mention noise from trains, hallways, and sometimes adjacent rooms, which suggests poor acoustic comfort. • Room allocation can be disappointing. Some guests feel the room they received did not match their expectations for quietness or location. • Service recovery may be limited. When issues arise, the hotel may apologize but not offer a practical solution such as a room change or upgrade. • Overall stay quality can be affected by location trade-offs. The hotel may be convenient, but that convenience comes with noise exposure.

The hotel is very close to Umeda, so much so that I could still squeeze in some sightseeing in the morning before my afternoon flight. The location gets a big thumbs up! 👍🏾👍🏾 Even a standard room offers beautiful city views. 👍🏾👍🏾 However, aside from two bottles of mineral water, no other complimentary drinks were provided. 😶

I stayed here to watch a football match at Yanmar Hanasaka Stadium. The room walls seemed thin, as noise echoed a lot at night, which was a bit bothersome. However, other than that, I had a really comfortable stay thanks to the convenient access, great service, and the large public bath with a sauna. The room was also very clean and excellent. I'd love to stay here again the next time I go to watch a match.

Feedback on Breakfast Service Experience: A small incident occurred during breakfast today, which I hope hotel management will address. There were Chinese tourists speaking loudly, drawing attention, and the server, in handling this unexpected situation, skipped over me without letting me pass first. While I understand the server might have prioritized dealing with the situation, this objectively made me feel a bit disrespected. As a high-end hotel, I suggest adopting a more professional business approach in service procedures, ensuring 'equal treatment' and 'courtesy to all' to avoid making other guests feel overlooked or discriminated against. Room Service Efficiency Issues: Furthermore, the front desk's efficiency in responding to room requests was disappointing. For a basic request like retrieving a key, it usually took at least 15 to 30 minutes; yesterday, it even took a full hour. This prolonged waiting time made me feel completely unvalued as a guest. I hope the hotel can optimize its internal staff allocation and service response mechanisms to improve the efficiency of basic services. Public Area Etiquette Initiative: Finally, I'd also like to kindly remind all guests that the hotel restaurant is a public area. I hope everyone can be mindful of controlling their volume during meals to jointly maintain a quiet and comfortable dining environment.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location right inside the airport terminal. If you have an early flight the next morning, staying here is incredibly convenient. You don't have to worry about traffic or time, and you can get a little extra sleep. However, my overall experience was that the value for money wasn't great. The price of over 300 a night felt a bit high compared to the actual stay. The hotel was also a bit hard to find. I initially followed Google Maps, and the navigation showed a long detour. I ended up having to check Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) for directions to find the correct route. I'd recommend first-time visitors do some research beforehand. The room was larger than I expected, and all the necessary facilities were provided. There was even a small lockable cabinet next to the bed for valuables like phones, wallets, and passports. For larger luggage, the front desk offers a locked luggage storage area, with each item individually secured, so security is quite good. The staff were also very friendly and enthusiastic when communicating, patiently helping with any issues. That said, as soon as I entered the room, there was a strong, somewhat artificial scent, like the air fresheners often used in public restrooms or malls in China, or a heavy incense smell. I personally didn't like it, and after a while, it became a bit uncomfortable. Also, the duvet on the bed was quite thin, so if you tend to get cold easily, it might not be comfortable enough. Overall, the main value of this hotel is its convenience for catching early flights. If you're just staying to catch a plane the next morning, I'd still recommend it. But for a regular leisure trip, I think the value for money for over 300 a night is just average, and the overall experience was fairly unremarkable.
