When we first arrived, we went through the wrong entrance, and the front desk staff came down to meet us. The location is excellent; you just cross a pedestrian bridge outside and you're at the subway station. The service was fantastic. We were even more pleasantly surprised when we entered the room—it's definitely a very spacious room for Japan. We had no problem opening all three of our suitcases. The room facilities are very comprehensive. Every day, housekeeping cleaned the room thoroughly and replenished everything. We will definitely stay at this hotel again next time we visit Osaka.

No Chinese-speaking staff at the hotel! It's a fair distance from Umeda and not particularly close to the subway station. For families with young children, I'd advise caution, as the walk back after a day of shopping might just make you want to stay in. Skip the hotel breakfast; at 100 RMB per person, you'd get far better value by simply grabbing something from a convenience store. The drinks selection at the happy hour/lounge was decent, but the snack options were very sparse. The room was only cleaned once during our four-day stay. What's more, upon check-in, we found the room to be quite dirty; the crevices of the sofa near the window and the corners of the bed were filthy. All in all, I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

The service was warm and attentive, the room was clean and hygienic, and the location was convenient, being very close to Nagahoribashi and Nihonbashi subway stations. There's also a large supermarket not far from the hotel. Plus, it's near the airport bus stop, with a direct bus to Osaka Kansai Airport, making it perfect for independent travelers.

An excellent hotel with a convenient location. The twin room was spacious, and the bathroom featured a separate shower and toilet area. Guests are asked to place trash and used towels outside their door daily for collection. Every morning, the hotel provides Yakult. In the evenings, after enjoying the hot spring, guests can relax in massage chairs and read manga, along with complimentary ice cream. After 9:30 PM, you can head to the first floor for a bowl of soy sauce ramen and free coffee and cola. I enjoyed the hotel's hot spring daily, and even the showers in the room were clean. As our final hotel in Osaka, the room was adequately spacious; even after all our shopping, there was still plenty of room to open our suitcases. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

Dormy Inn is always a top choice for us when we travel to Japan. Practically every time we visit, we first check the location and prices of Dormy Inn hotels. We've stayed at this specific hotel and its chain many times. The hotel offers smoking rooms, microwaves, ice machines, a laundry room, and natural hot springs. On the first floor, there's a beverage bar where you can help yourself to coffee, matcha, and chocolate drinks. Toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs are also readily available. You can pack light when traveling here; the hotel truly takes care of guests' needs very well. The complimentary soy sauce ramen served from 9:30 PM to 11 PM is also quite tasty; they don't skimp on quality just because it's free, it's consistently good. We'll definitely prioritize staying at this hotel again on our future trips to Japan.

The room had a spacious bathroom and everything was perfect! I just noticed that the cup in the room had a lipstick stain on it, but overall we really enjoyed our stay. The location is not the most convenient, but we actually enjoyed the walk to Kitahama for coffee in the morning and afternoon. We’d definitely love to stay at this hotel again!

1. The location and value for money are superb! It's just a 5-10 minute walk to Shinsaibashi, Daimaru, and Dotonbori, making it incredibly convenient. 2. The airport shuttle bus stop is right next door. 3. While the room isn't huge, it's perfectly adequate for a family with children, and there's still enough space to open your suitcases comfortably. 4. The 2F onsen (hot spring bath) is spotless and fully equipped. Be sure to remove your shoes before entering, and note that you'll need to bring your own towel. It's pure bliss to relax in the onsen after a day of sightseeing! They also offer complimentary ice cream and a late-night snack.

We used this hotel to go to Universal Studios Japan as a gift for our child's graduation. Access from the nearest station wasn't very good, so it was a bit of a hassle to get around when we were tired, but there was a large public bath so we were able to relieve our fatigue, which was great. The room was clean and there was a convenience store nearby, so it was convenient. The front desk staff were kind and the service was very good. We will use this hotel again. Thank you for giving us fond memories!

Locals don’t usually come here to sleep — they come to wash, relax, and go through the full spa ritual. There are three types of steam rooms, a circular shower, and three baths: two hot ones at around 41°C, and one cold shock bath at around 11°C. You dip in and instantly feel alive. One unique feature — every hour they run a group steam ritual, like a collective massage & heat therapy session. Very Japanese, and surprisingly affordable. Definitely worth trying. There’s also an inexpensive breakfast option, plus vending machines with food and drinks right inside — very convenient. Overall, it’s a men-only vibe: arrive, clean up, relax, reset, and go about your day. The capsule is just a bonus on top of the sauna experience. They give you clothing — not a robe, but loose Japanese pants and an oversized T-shirt. You get your own locker, bedding and clothes are changed daily, and the bathrooms have literally everything: toothbrush, toothpaste, gels, shampoo… even nail clippers. You don’t need to bring anything. Location is fantastic — right next to Dotonbori. Step outside and you’re instantly in the heart of Osaka’s nightlife and energy. Downsides? A strict checkout — you must leave at 10:00 AM, and check-in starts only after 3:00 PM. If you want to stay during that gap, it’s around 300 yen per hour, or ~900 yen for the day. Still — great experience. I always wanted to try a real Japanese capsule stay. Inside the capsule there’s a TV, radio, adjustable lights, and AC — though it blasts pretty strongly, so I turned it off.

Location of this hotel is superb. It is adjacent to Namba OCAT which has the JR subway line at the bottom. Take the airport limousine bus 11 and it brings you almost to this hotel. There is also a supermarket very nearby with lots of food choices around. This hotel has a hot bath setup and its own 7-11 at the 4th floor.

YYuexin IrisBefore my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic. The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient. Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese. The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is super easy to find, right by Exit 1 of Dobutsuen-mae Station, and it's literally next door to the Shinsekai area with Tsutenkaku Tower. It's incredibly convenient for both transport and sightseeing. They have their own hot spring, which is amazing for relaxing after a day of exploring. The room size is pretty decent too, definitely more spacious than your typical Japanese express hotel. Plus, the breakfast spread offers a good variety. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Osaka!

LLizzie_8181Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room. The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds). Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid. There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games. As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well. Thanks Swissotel

__WeChat20061****The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk right next to Osaka Station. Umeda offers plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. For those coming from Kansai Airport, simply take the limousine bus, get off at the second stop, and it's only a 7-8 minute walk to the hotel. I absolutely love this area and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

MM230154****Facilities: Average, just barely adequate. Hygiene: Not bad, Japan is generally good in this regard. Environment: Honestly speechless. This capsule hotel shares a name with another, and I walked my legs off trying to find it! Service: Alright, but no Chinese-speaking staff. Couldn't be helped during the National Day holiday, it was barely acceptable. The good thing is that it's conveniently located inside the airport.

GGuest UserLove this quiet and peaceful hotel and the surrounding....will stay again the next trip. We stayed one night before heading to Kansai airport ( 5 mins train ride) My son was so elated to enjoy the onsen due to his scoliosis and his pain was eased. Good breakfast with a fantastic seaview. Be there and see for yourself. About 10mins walk from Rinku town station. Should you intend to leave your baggages at the station, there are 2 options , locker or pay 500 yen per pc at one of the shops providing storage service. You can then freely head off to Premium outlet and back before 8pm (shop closure) to airport. Highly recommend Saba fish at OOTOYA - Rinku premium...pls google exact location.

MMinixiaokeOverall, I'm quite satisfied. I'm not a picky person; good enough is good enough for me. The room was spacious, but the foul smell from the drain was a definite drawback. The location is very convenient, especially being close to Shinsaibashi – that's a big plus! 👍 The breakfast selection was decent. There was no Chinese-speaking staff when I checked in. The Japanese lady at check-in asked me to pay extra for breakfast, and I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, because my booking clearly stated breakfast was included. Was it because I don't speak Japanese, or because my English isn't great and I'm easy to fool? I hope the service quality can be improved a bit!
