Hotels With Spa in Gangwon State, South Korea

The hotel is right next to the sea. Every building is like looking for an English name. There is a cafe under the building, and then it is just next to GS25~ There is a free parking lot next to the street. If the two parking spaces next to the gate are full, you can go to the beach and park a whole row of parking spaces! This room type can only see the sea in the bathroom or the living room. The room is not visible. The TV is also in the room, but there is no YOUTUBE and NETFLIX function. There is no door from the living room to the room, so the sun will shine in the morning~ There is a kitchen, pots and pans and an oversized refrigerator! The room is on the fifth floor. If the bathtub is not closed, it can be seen outside, but it can be pulled down halfway, because the bathtub is very high and can block the body~ There is also a separate bathroom, which is very small. It is difficult to open the door alone. The bathroom is a bit damp. If you want to take a bath, you can wash it in the bathtub. There is a larger space for the water pipe! The sea is really clear and beautiful. The mood of bathing and seeing a sea in the morning has improved~

Overall okay, they having shuttles bus to Yong pyeong ski place, but u still need to walk around 10-15minutes, it’s better that you rent the ski equipment at the ski place else you will need to carry the ski equipment and walk to the ski place

At the check-in all are ok, but when we arrive at the door step of our room，realised the door was unlocked,l. Went in and found some chips bit and half consumed bottle unclear I'm the room. What frustratefevwas was we head back ABT 11pm after skiing then realised that they only provided us with 1bath towel , tried calling front desk not one pick , calling house keeping also no one pick up. Only got to kn the next day that hotel front desk is closed at 9pm. And not many can speak English this make it even more challenging.

Pros 1. Location (in front of sea nose) 2. Bathtub water pressure is good and warm water is the best 3. Cleanliness Cons: 1. Room is smaller than I thought 2. There is no breakfast at over 250,000 per night during peak season I'm going to have a cafe on the ground floor, and I'm going to have a cup of coffee. No discount coupons. 3. Amenity is the worst ... ㅎㅎ 4. There's no one that's empty and empty. The price is low, but everything is offset because it is in front of the sea I'm a doctor back.

Excellent location with plenty to do. The water park was very convenient to use, and having a ranch-like attraction nearby was a definite plus. All the other facilities were also numerous and easy to access.

Pros Easy access by paid shuttle bus from Seoul which stops at tower B. The suites unit is spacious with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms ( eventhough the master bathroom is wet type) & living room. Sparkling clean. There are plates, bowls, mugs & cutlery sets in the room. Microwave in common area near lift. Some staffs speak English. Tower B is centralized with eateries, supermarket, sauna, farmacy, bowling table tennis, karaoke,etc at the basement and underground link to Ski Park & Snowy Land. Great place to spend for holiday with plenty of facilities/activities for all ages Cons: No luggage storage before check in & after check out. Need to pay locker service for the storage. Only small towels are provided but I think it is kind of Korea Hotel standard practices Cleaning on alternate day & need to make a call for it. 2 water bottle are provided despites booking for 5 pax To note: We booked shuttle bus service online through Trazy application. The bus stopped at a rental shop before reaching Vivaldi Ski Park. We rented helmet( ₩10.000/day), goggle(₩ 10.000/day) & helmet with sun visor ( ₩ 20.000/day) from there. We regretted it so much after found out that the rental price at the Vivaldi Ski Park ticketing it much cheaper. Goggle is only ₩5.000 for 8 hours which is more than enough for Skiing in 1 day.

The Sokcho Cassia Hotel, which we visited for our wedding anniversary trip, was located in Daepo Port, and we could see both the port and the sea from the veranda of the accommodation. It was on the 25th floor, and when we went in, there was a slight musty smell from the bathroom shower room, so we took off one star for cleanliness! The breakfast here was 66,000 won, which was expensive compared to other accommodations, so we had high expectations, but there weren't many options for the price. Weekends are divided into three parts, and you can choose on a first-come, first-served basis when you check in. I think the checkout time was 11:00, but we checked out right after 8:00 after the first part of the breakfast to avoid traffic.

Conveniently located near a variety of dining options Drawbacks The staff had limited English proficiency, making communication quite challenging. Upon our early arrival at around 11am, we found the reception area to be deserted. Along with other guests, we were left waiting at the counter, unsure of what to do. Finally, around 1pm, a receptionist appeared. However, rather than simply informing us that check-in was only possible after two, they made each guest wait in queue to deliver the same message. Upon returning to the reception at 2, we were informed that we had to wait an additional hour. This experience was quite unprofessional and made it challenging to enjoy other activities

The room condition, various programs, and facilities such as the spa were really good. In particular, I enjoyed swimming and using the sauna while looking at the beautiful scenery, and I participated in the yoga program twice among the wellness programs, and the quality of the classes was very good. The only regrets were that it was a long distance of more than 2 hours by car from the metropolitan area, the somewhat chaotic atmosphere when the wellness program yoga/meditation was in progress, and the outdoor jacuzzi facilities and water quality management were lacking. If you visit next time, it would be good to stay for more than 2 nights on a weekday during the off-season in the warm season.

The hot spring is amazing! But the resort can’t order a glass of wine, only bottle. The hotel in the middle of no where, hard to by walking to reach. And no restaurant around. Only hotel food which don’t have much options. No sure about the facility as windy day. The room is big with balcony but don’t have the bathtub for most of rooms.
