Hotels With Spa in Gangwon State, South Korea

Appeared to be newly renovated. The rooms were spacious, had a small equipped kitchen, and great a/c. No conditioner for hair and only three hand towels in the bathroom. But really amazing value for the price, esp for families for small kids. There’s a kid zone in the hotel with arcade and fun games and of course water park next door. Starbucks and GS25 in hotel too.

On the first night of our two-night stay, after dinner, we returned to our room to find the doorknob broken. I sustained a minor injury (a bruise on my knee) while trying to open the door. The next day, I explained the situation to the front desk. Their response was, 'Can't you go out for a bit? We'll fix it while you're gone.' Given my frequent overseas business trips, I'm quite surprised that a hotel of this caliber didn't even bother to ask if I was okay after I got injured. Since it wasn't a major injury anyway, and Seamarq isn't exactly known for its service, I decided to just go along with it. I told them I'd go out for a tea and dinner and left. Upon my return, I found that nothing had been repaired. So I called them again. The person on the phone from housekeeping said, 'We haven't received any such request. Let me check. Is there anything else you need?' When I said no, they let out an incredibly exasperated sigh, saying 'Yes... [sigh]'. It was truly absurd. I wasn't being difficult or demanding special service because of my injury, especially at a hotel charging these prices. So, to have the customer service team sigh at me was incredibly frustrating. About 10 minutes later, the maintenance team came up. They then asked if I could leave again so they could repair it. I wondered why they made me leave earlier if this was going to happen. Anyway, I left and came back again, only to find it was just a makeshift repair. I was too fed up to argue further, so I didn't say anything. I suppose I'll end up staying at Seamarq again when I visit Gangneung, as there's no real alternative until Shilla Monogram opens. I'll just think of this place not as a hotel, but as a ridiculously expensive luxury infinity pool. This was my fourth stay, and it seems that every time I come, the beautiful hardware is completely ruined by the service. However, the service for other facilities like the pool and spa wasn't bad. (While not professional, there was a sense of thoughtfulness in many aspects.)

The check-in experience was disappointing. The front desk receptionist was rude, unfriendly, and impatient. As tourists who are not familiar with public transport online ticketing, we needed assistance, but the staff was not helpful. Better customer service and support for international guests are needed.

The Sokcho Cassia Hotel, which we visited for our wedding anniversary trip, was located in Daepo Port, and we could see both the port and the sea from the veranda of the accommodation. It was on the 25th floor, and when we went in, there was a slight musty smell from the bathroom shower room, so we took off one star for cleanliness! The breakfast here was 66,000 won, which was expensive compared to other accommodations, so we had high expectations, but there weren't many options for the price. Weekends are divided into three parts, and you can choose on a first-come, first-served basis when you check in. I think the checkout time was 11:00, but we checked out right after 8:00 after the first part of the breakfast to avoid traffic.

Check-in was delayed, but I put it in safely. The room was clean too. It was a room with a view of the sea, but it looked a little bad because there were trash cans and trash in front of the outside. If you take a good picture, it will look great!

As the name suggests, you can see the sea when you open your eyes !! It was really cold, but the heating was warmly turned on in advance, so it was so warm and cozy as soon as I entered ~ There were microwaves, teapots, inductions in the room, tableware, glasses, etc. I thought bubble bath was so fun now,, I also gave a bathing system, so I played bubbles well. I'm 30 years old, but ㅋㅋㅋㅋ The bathtub was just lighted and the water came out like a massage function (?). First of all, the boss is so kind and attentive. Thanks to the photos and the time of sunrise and sunset, I will enjoy 200 percent of the charm of Gangneung 🥹 I'm so satisfied with the review for the first time. Next time I go to Gangneung, I'll come here again. Thank you boss 🫰

Nice place to stay. Very close to Mona Yongpyong Ski Resort. Nice view. Ample parking space. Spacious Room. Ondol room can fit 6 people. Kitchenette provided for cooking. There was an issue with our toilet where the toilet bowl is clogged. When we contact the front desk, they promptly send a staff to fix the toilet. Everything is perfect and we enjoy our stay at Tower Condominium.

The room condition, various programs, and facilities such as the spa were really good. In particular, I enjoyed swimming and using the sauna while looking at the beautiful scenery, and I participated in the yoga program twice among the wellness programs, and the quality of the classes was very good. The only regrets were that it was a long distance of more than 2 hours by car from the metropolitan area, the somewhat chaotic atmosphere when the wellness program yoga/meditation was in progress, and the outdoor jacuzzi facilities and water quality management were lacking. If you visit next time, it would be good to stay for more than 2 nights on a weekday during the off-season in the warm season.

It's quite a distance, so if you're coming on your own, you'll need to take a taxi. It costs about 25,000 won each way. The breakfast spread is huge, but there are no restaurants around the hotel at night, only within the resort itself. There isn't even a casual spot to grab a drink.

사장님 친절하시고 위치도 좋아요. 사천진해변 다 걸어서 갈 수 있을 정도로 가깝고, 횟집, 물회, 비빔밥, 탕, 국, 식당도 아주 많고 카페도 많고 다 가깝네요!! 편의점도 코앞에 있고 주차도 여유로워요. 침대에 전기매트 있어서 완전 따듯하게 등 지지며 잤구요, 천장형 에어컨 히터 겸용에 공기청정기도 따로 있습니다. 방파제 안쪽 뷰면서 건너편 바다가 다 보이더라구요. 개별 월풀 욕조에 간편한 취사도 가능하고 반려견까지 동반 가능하다니 완전 갓성비 숙소입니다.
