Convenient transportation, complete hotel facilities, nearby is a large tulip field, just in season, very beautiful! The service is also very good, but the room this time is average.
The layout of the room, the bed and the desk are a bit strange, and the shower in the bathroom has no curtain. However, the Dutch can't play by the rules. It's on the 91011th floor of a building. The 12th floor is the front desk, which is also the reception for the spa, but some rooms are not in the elevator location of the front desk. It's a bit difficult to find it by going to the 10th floor. The building is next to the train station, which is convenient for travel. Leiden is like a fairy tale kingdom, very unique. It's worth a visit.
Hotel was in a good location, right next to the metro and lots of lovely restaurants nearby. For the price, I thought the amenities in the room were lacking. No iron, some of the sachets eg. Shoe shine was torn open, a wine glass was missing, bare minimum of tea options, the bath took 40 minutes to drain, and the hot water was BURNING - burnt myself (no warning). I usually don’t complain about stays but as this a highly rated hotel and for the price I paid, I was disappointed.
Friendly service and nice room with free drinks in the mini bar (in many hotels these days they are empty).
It is unclear to me that the parking costs are 19.95 euros. It was not clearly stated prior to the stay and during check-in.
Eventually these were waived by the beverage manager. Friendly man.
I will come here again despite the Danish lady behind the reception who was rather sharp and curt.
I reserved a hotel with bath inside the room. When we arrived it was farely busy in the hotel due to the check in times. We waited for 20 minutes to check in and were told we got upgraded to a wellness room with a sauna. We took a walk along the beach which is litteraly in front of the hotel and we enjoyed a nice jacuzzi and sauna the rest of the evening. With a stunning view along the beach and city.
Yes it was pricey! And parking in front of the hotel is 25€ per day or 6,50€ per hour which is really expensive (the hotel cant do anything about the parking fees because of the government, but maybe public transport is an option for you)
Pricey, but absolutely worth every penny.
And dont forget you get access to their own wellness included with your room!
Fine large clean room (own choice), but in the toilet still a last paper rest not washed and a long female hair in the shower, iehhh! Beds and kiss lovely! Breakfast greatly expanded. Location is close to the beach but in the middle of a pressing crosspoint, a little ‘nouja view' . Service reception and restaurant super friendly!
Absolutely wonderful. Could not find anything negative about this hotel. Possibly one of the best places I ever stayed. Extremely clean and neat, full equipped gym, quiet location. There was a misunderstanding with the booking which was resolved with the highest professionalism. Looking forward to the next time.
There is no disposable toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. I asked the front desk for two sets. When I checked out, I actually charged the cost of 6.6 Euro toothbrush and toothpaste. I was speechless.
This is a chain hotel, rich breakfast, big rooms, just need to travel by car
Very Good

GGuest UserReception and check-out were excellent. The concierge Ivo is a top in his field. We had a junior suite at the front. The room was really spacious. We think the bathroom and the bed are excellent. The cleaning could have been a little better for the level of this hotel. Clutter under the bed, stains on the carpet/curtains, dusty edges and surfaces. Breakfast in the room was initially messy, but the staff resolved it neatly. The breakfast was tasty, but not special at all. For the level of this hotel you would expect, for example, fresh orange juice, but not so. A missed opportunity! The staff at Des Indes makes the difference. They are very hospitable, service-oriented and ensure that we continue to choose this hotel.
