When the first arrived the lady on the front desk was very friendly, and helpful.
We had asked for a double bed and had been allocated two single beds. She quickly contacted the ladies from house keeping and they very kindly sprung into action to help rectify the situation.
The housekeeping staff were nice and pleasant, and the location was just right for us to get out and about visiting some of the local attractions like the Kiwi birdlife park.
The big plus about staying at the highview apartments was having a parking space. When you visit queenstown you'll soon find out that in some places finding a parking space is like gold dust."

TTravellingcouple91523Amazing hotel. Good service and friendly staff members. Nice king bed and we had an extra sofa bed which is a bonus, it was set-up for free for us as my partner sleep snoring very loudly.
The location is great and easy to find.
The downgrade was the parking, there was no free parking as we had to pay $20 per 24hr. So we had to spent $60 just for parking, its ridiculous expensive. The hotel should've provide it free parking.
But other than that the stayed was amazing.
Had a great restaurant by the wharf and the food is amazing and bonus with an amazing views.

The room was very clean, and the wooden decor felt incredibly high-end. The minibar was replenished endlessly with delicious local juices and chocolates; I even asked the hotel for several more when I checked out. Highly recommended!

SSafiyoooI had a truly wonderful stay at this retreat. The place itself is absolutely spectacular — very calming, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking views. The deck is stunning, and it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
The owners were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and looked after throughout my stay. Their hospitality genuinely stood out. The dogs were lovely and added so much warmth to the experience. Breakfast was excellent, and the variety of teas available was out of this world.
As a female solo traveller, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well cared for, which is something I value highly. The atmosphere is peaceful and nurturing — exactly what you want from a retreat.
The only minor downside is that it’s a bit far from the shops (around a one-hour walk). However, this was easily managed as Uber is only a 6-minute drive, and the hosts were also kind enough to offer lifts when possible.
Overall, an absolutely stunning place, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay

The resort has a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere with beautiful lake and mountain views. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and waking up to the scenery every morning really gives you that “New Zealand holiday” feeling.
We also loved how quiet it feels compared with staying right in busy Queenstown town centre — perfect if you want to slow down, relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Fflatfishmin1. The hotel is located in a huge shopping complex with supermarkets, restaurants, and clothing stores right next door, so no car is needed. There's a massive shared parking lot, but it's often hard to find a spot specifically for hotel guests. The front desk will ask for your license plate number.
2. The room is small, but generally clean and quiet.
3. Breakfast is a buffet, quite good for a 'Western-style' spread, and includes fried rice. You can also make your own fresh juice (apple and carrot).
Additionally, they have an EGG MENU. Just decide what you want (sunny-side up, over easy, or omelet) and tell the staff, and they'll bring it right to your table.

AAnonymous UserThe location of this hotel is very good. It is right in the center of the town and you can walk to the most beautiful shore in three minutes. Anyway, it's convenient to go anywhere. The only problem is that you may have to look for parking on the roadside. The hotel room is really big, and the equipment and speakers inside are very good. It's also close to a bar, so it's a bit noisy at night. Everything in the refrigerator is free except alcohol, and there are unlimited refills. For breakfast, it is beautifully prepared on site downstairs. I remember that the big breakfast was about 30 New Zealand dollars. It is worth commenting and worth staying at.

The breakfast was quite average, with limited variety and not many options. Even though they offer made-to-order dishes, you can only order one. We stayed during the Chinese New Year period, and the room cost around 6000 RMB, which felt like it would normally be 2000-3000 RMB. The luggage service was alright.

CCharmaineChong1. Last 2 pictures were the view from the bedroom. Very comfy bed, spacious room , just the pillow a bit too thick.
2. The dinner was very good but very expensive .
3. Hot soak is FOC. Require booking 1 day in advance
4. The reception are all very helpful and nice especially we loved the young Asian tiny girl. Very smiley and always try to help and make herself clear.
Highly recommended.
