Subject: Feedback on Staff Training and Late Check-out Protocol
We are frequent Savoy guests. Our check-in was excellent (paid early check-in at 7:00 AM, room upgrade, and confirmed late check-out until 3:00 PM by Vanie).
However, on the day of departure, we were repeatedly called at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM by a different front desk officer, who disputed the confirmed 3:00 PM check-out time. This staff member demonstrated a severe lack of coordination, empathy, and professionalism, attempting to bargain and failing to honor a promise made by a colleague due to a system oversight.
Recommendation: Staff require urgent refresher training on communication, coordination, and emotional intelligence.
Minor Feedback: The lobby scent is still bothersome and does not mask the surrounding drainage odor. Please consider a clean, refreshing scent like peppermint or eucalyptus.
The Hotel was placed a small distance from the Naia T3 airport. You can get there by using the Runway Manila bridge. A good 5 mins walk.
Staff were very polite, helpful and all smiles.
The gym was clean and equipments looked new.
The pool was clean, and the drink was delish. Kudos to the bartender!
My overall experience at Grand Westside Hotel Manila was good — the property is modern, clean, and the staff were courteous throughout my stay. However, the room assigned to me was on a lower level, and every night I could hear loud music and event sounds. As I was staying for five days on a business trip, this constant noise interrupted my rest and made it difficult to recharge after long workdays. For short leisure stays, the lively atmosphere might be fine, but for business travelers seeking quiet and uninterrupted rest, I would recommend requesting a higher floor or a room away from the event areas
Overall, we had a wonderful time. The restaurant though is not that big to accommodate the hotel guests during breakfasf time, so if you go there around 7am or later, you may have to line up and wait for a long time.
I think its more near to Terminal 1 and 2 but quite far from Terminal 3.
They are on renovation during my stay but nevertheless still they have a top notch customer service.
They help me to ammend my book coz i put a wrong booking dates.
Cant complain enough about the hotel also coz i just stay for a few hours here coz i have an early domestic flight.
My room are quite good though i dont have the sleeper found in my room, maybe i just need to request and also no drinking glass in my room too.
Friendly staff, from reception to concierge to cleanjng staff. Overall it's such a good price quality
Very central location
Also has a swimming pool
Bed was comfy and room spacious
Staff: Wonderful hotel with professional staff. My booking was originally a king size bed but I requested a twin. They did everything to met my needs.
After a long flight I wasn’t in my best mood and they did understand and deal with me with respect and understanding.
Room: simply wonderful as usual.. this is my fourth or fifth stay and I’M will be always my home in Manila.
Our stay in Lime Hotel Manila was truly amazing! I love the smooth check in and check out! The front desk and staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Requests are well attended and are given priority. I appreciate the overall cleanliness of the rooms and hotel amenities. The buffet was awesome! I will definitely come back and stay again soon.
I recently stayed at this hotel and found the overall experience to be mixed. The room itself was decent, and the staff were accommodating and polite whenever I interacted with them. However, there were several issues that made the stay less comfortable.
First, the shower area does not have a glass door or divider, which causes water to flood into the bathroom and reach the sink area every time you shower. It’s inconvenient and makes the bathroom messy and slippery. Second, while the room has a cabinet, there were no hangers provided at all, which was surprising. The location is greta though, few meters walk to starbucks and some good restaurants.
The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping service. I had to ask the front desk twice around 1:00 PM to have my room cleaned. When I returned an hour later, the room was still not done.
Overall, while the staff are friendly and the room is okay for a short stay, the lack of attention to detail and the slow service are things the hotel definitely needs to improve.
We were staying on Room 212, the receptionist & the bell boy (Joric) are friendly & helpful.
The room was smelt mouldy as there was no window can be opened. So we must blasted the air cond on powerful mode to reduce the mold smelt. Air cond worked good & cold but there was no blanket on the room where we stayed.
The noise came from Room 213 & the chicken farm next door. As they Rooster kept crowing from 01.00 am until we checked out at 11.35am.

MMaria ChristinaMy family stay here is exceptional. Rooms are fully equipped from kitchen to rooms. Modern interiors are impressive. Staffs are so warm and amenities are extensive. Property is located in prime location too. The experience we got here is beyond our expectations and the value of what we pay for it. We will surely go back alpha suite :)
WWhyhI had a wonderful five‑night stay at Makati Diamond Residences, where the service stood out for being consistently attentive and professional, making me feel well taken care of throughout. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after busy days. Its prime location in the heart of Makati made it easy to access shopping, dining, and business areas, which added great convenience to my trip. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience that combined excellent hospitality with comfort and accessibility.
PPrincess PeaI book this hotel after landing in Manila and discovering the roads were flooded and I was stuck near the airport. Even with the last-minute booking, my check-in was fast and smooth. The second I walked into the room. I felt an ease wash over me. I am a pretty light packer, but there was still plenty of room for all of my things where I could easily live out of my suitcase or unpack, and really settle in if I chose. The room was absolutely perfect. The bed was a large, clean and comfy. The bathroom was large, clean and came with all the amenities anyone would need.
The hotel in general is absolutely beautiful. All types of food and drinks are served or delivered to your room 24/7. The hotel has their own bars and restaurants and a lovely lobby area where you can sit and work or just relax The only thing that comes close to being better then the aesthetic of the hotel is the customer service (it IS a Marriott after all).
The hotel has a lot of amenities to offer, including a pool, a spa and a gym (none of which I had the time to experience during my short stay). The buffet breakfast was really nice. It has local and international foods for all taste buds. (I highly recommend the guava jam.) the hotel is also connected to a ****** and a mall. There are additional restaurants and stores outside of the hotel all in walking distance.
If you ever have the chance, I would highly recommend staying at the Marriott on purpose…It’s also a WONDERFUL place to be “stuck”.
GGuest UserStayed for 4 nights over the past weekend. The connection to Ayala Mall is a plus point. The service of the restaurant staff must be commended.
One of the day, the room was not cleaned up. Another day, a wet bathroom mat was placed on the sofa (yekks). The eco-green card that i placed on my sheets went missing.
There is a musky smell in the corridor on some levels, esp. L5, where it is connected to the pool. Additionally, there is a sewage smell emanating from a corner of the family room.
The soundproofing of the window and door is not good, I can hear noise from the corridor and from the swimming pool.
The breakfast is good, with a reasonable selection, albeit not much change over the days.
MMarielle29Bellevue Hotel: An Oasis of Elegance and Impeccable Service
The Bellevue Hotel transcends the definition of a mere place to stay; it is a destination in itself. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of refined elegance and genuine warmth that set the tone for a truly unforgettable stay. This is, without question, a five-star experience where every detail is meticulously curated.
Impeccable Service and Ambiance
The staff at The Bellevue is the hotel's greatest asset. Check-in was swift, seamless, and personalized, and throughout our trip, every interaction—from the concierge offering spot-on recommendations to the housekeeping team ensuring our room was pristine—was characterized by professionalism and a truly anticipatory approach. The lobby is a breathtaking space with soaring ceilings and classical decor that speaks of old-world glamour while maintaining a modern, comfortable feel.
Luxurious Comfort and Attention to Detail
Our room was a sanctuary of comfort. The panoramic city view was stunning, but the interior details were equally impressive. The bedding was plush and high-quality, ensuring a restorative night's sleep. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including the personalized welcome note and the state-of-the-art climate control. The marble bathroom, equipped with luxurious toiletries and a spacious rainfall shower, felt like a private spa retreat.
Exceptional Culinary Journey
Dining at the Bellevue was a highlight of the trip. The main restaurant, The Summit, offered a diverse menu of locally sourced, exquisite dishes. We enjoyed a breakfast buffet that was expansive and fresh, featuring everything from artisanal pastries to made-to-order omelets. Dinner was a true culinary event, complete with impeccable wine pairings suggested by a knowledgeable sommelier. Even the simple room service order was delivered promptly and presented beautifully.
Final Verdict
The Bellevue Hotel sets the gold standard for luxury hospitality. Whether you are traveling for business or a romantic getaway, the combination of outstanding service, luxurious accommodations, and world-class dining creates an environment that you will genuinely be reluctant to leave. We highly recommend The Bellevue and look forward to returning soon.
GGuest UserIt was okay, you get what you pay for I guess. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Beds are thin and you basically get an airport blanket for the night. Netflix didn’t work and the majority of channels on the TV were unavailable. The room only has a chiller, not a fridge, and I would argue that it didn’t chill much if anything. 3-1 shampoo, conditioner, & body wash and house keeping will wake you up every day at 8:30.
PpippaaaI had an excellent stay at Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I truly appreciated their attention to detail.
The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with comfortable beds and all the amenities I needed. The view of Manila Bay was absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. Housekeeping did a fantastic job in keeping everything fresh and spotless every day.
The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes with both local and international options. I also enjoyed the hotel’s amenities—especially the pool and fitness center, which were well-maintained and relaxing.
What stood out the most was the outstanding customer service. Every staff member I encountered was professional, polite, and always ready to help with a smile.
Overall, Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay exceeded my expectations. It’s the perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Manila!
