We stayed at Savoy Hotel for a couple of days. The staff were very accommodating, and the breakfast was good, though it could use more drink options. The location is convenient, as it is close to malls, restaurants, fast food outlets, convenience stores, and the airport.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The first thing we noticed was how immaculately clean the entire property was—from the lobby to our room, the maintenance is clearly a top priority. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the outstanding staff. We were traveling with an elderly family member who uses a wheelchair, and the team went above and beyond to ensure they were comfortable. The security team and bellmen( i wish i got their names for commendation) were incredibly proactive, assisting us with carrying the wheelchair and helping our family member in and out of the car with great care and patience. It is rare to find a team so attentive to the needs of guests with mobility challenges. The overall service is well up to standard, and the helpfulness of the staff made our trip stress-free. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a seamless and professional experience.

I extended my stay for one more night and requested to be transferred to another room. This tiime I was quite satisfied with the room. It was clean and I did not feel stuffy like my previous room. It was quieter, though, voices/sounds coming from the outside and other rooms are still audible. Service at in the hotel restaurants still takes long. Foods are pretty good taste wise. Added bonus is free luggage storage while waiting for a late flight and free shuttle pick up and delivery to the airport.

“I stayed here for two nights and had a very good experience. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helped us with directions. The hotel is close to many restaurants and attractions. Breakfast was good with several options. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi could be slow sometimes. Overall, I would stay here again.” •🛏 Room quality – cleanliness, size, comfort of bed✅ •🤝 Staff service – helpfulness, friendliness✅ •📍 Location – near attractions, transport, restaurants✅ • 🍳 Food / breakfast – quality and variety✅ • 🔇 Noise level – quiet or noisy✅ • 💰 Value for money✅

We stayed at The Manila Hotel as a couple with one infant and had a very positive experience. The staff were extremely accommodating and attentive, the facilities felt grand and culturally rich rather than modern, and the location is central, great for nearby parks but challenging due to Manila traffic. The highlight was the breakfast, which was outstanding and easily the best complimentary hotel breakfast I’ve had.

Celebrated my 44th Birthday at the Premier King Bayview Pool Suite. My son and his cousin enjoyed our private pool. The room is huge, clean and in good location. Had an amazing view of the Manila Bay. Really worth it's price. Will definitely comeback and will recommend to our family and friends.

Enjoyed our holyweek staycation in a very quiet Makati. There is an ongoing mall construction across the street but it was a holiday so no issues. The staff are nice. We appreciate the complimentary snacks and drinks. Nice big pool might need an update soon, need more lights at night.

Staying at City Garden Suites Manila turned out to be a great choice for exploring the historic side of Manila. The location is very convenient — just a short distance from Rizal Park, Intramuros, and shopping areas like Robinsons Place Manila. It made moving around the city easy without long travel time. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of walking around Manila. What stood out the most was the hospitality of the staff — they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. If you’re looking for a hotel that balances comfort, location, and affordability, this is definitely a good option when staying in Manila.

AAndro ChavezCheck-in: Fast and efficient. The staff member attending to me was wearing a mask, which is understandable for safety, though her voice was quite soft and a bit hard to hear. Birthday Cake & Room Arrangement: The room decoration and complimentary cake were a lovely touch. I appreciated the staff asking if I wanted it delivered to my room. However, since I had two rooms and my mom and sister were in the other room (my mom uses a wheelchair), I requested the cake be delivered there because I planned to go to their room so we could celebrate together and take photos. When the staff arrived, my sister opened the door while I was standing just behind her. They greeted my sister and not me, which caused some confusion. While it was a small miscommunication, it would help if staff clarify who the celebrant is rather than assuming it’s the person who opens the door. Overall, it was a thoughtful gesture. Room Service: Fast and accommodating. One suggestion: for a 5-star hotel, providing more than one jug of water per room would be ideal. Buffet Breakfast: Enjoyable with a variety of options. As someone who has lived overseas, I found the offerings leaning more toward local tastes. While fresh salads were offered, including at least one cooked vegetable dish in the main section would provide a different feel and more variety, especially for those with dietary restrictions. The taho and desserts were delightful and nostalgic. Assistance with Luggage: The staff who helped us were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms: Comfortable beds and pillows. The bathtub, strong shower, and water heater were excellent for relaxation. Toiletries were well-provided. Areas for improvement: the coffee table was shaky, the outside of the shower area tends to flood even with the glass doors closed, windows lacked sheer curtains (so rooms are either very bright or very dark), and the TV is outdated with no streaming options. Overall, the room feels more like a 5-star from 10 years ago—by 2026 standards, it feels closer to 4-star. Staff: Very accommodating and polite. Everyone greets you warmly when passing by. Facilities: Didn’t have a chance to visit the swimming pool or other amenities, so cannot comment. Overall: A pleasant stay with great service and thoughtful touches, but the rooms and certain amenities could use updating to match a modern 5-star standard. Unless there are upgrades, I would rate this hotel closer to 4-star.

JJoshua FernanWe had a fantastic overnight stay and were very satisfied overall. The dinner we ordered was delicious and worth the price. Our only important feedback was the check-in process. The requirement for a cash deposit was a hassle, especially as we were traveling with an 8-month-old and checking in late. We were so eager to get to our room and settle. Since online transfers weren't accepted, we found the payment options surprisingly limited for a hotel of this reputation. Despite this, all our needs were met, and we enjoyed our visit.

GGuest UserGood overnight stay. Bed was fine, room was clean and just the right size, view was of the Manila bay. They stopped giving plastic amenities (shampoo, soap, etc) and have the dispensers already which helps reduce plastic waste. Water pressure in the toilet and shower is good. In room dining service was also fine, they were busy during breakfast which is normal and the food reached us exactly after 45 minutes. Tried the rooftop bar and there was ample selection of drinks, view was relaxing and air was cool last night. Really convenient to have a connecting walkway from the 4th floor of the hotel to Ayala Mall Manila Bay. All staff were friendly and polite and greeted us if we see them along the hall.   Would have been better if they allowed at least up to 1pm late checkout.
