My friends, who understands this feeling! I just got back from Singapore and Malaysia, and this 5-day, 4-night trip completely immersed me in happiness! I originally thought joining a tour group would be rushed, but the entire trip was super chill, and the food, accommodation, and transportation all hit the right spots for me!
Day 1: I was instantly captivated as soon as I arrived in Singapore! The panoramic view from Merlion Park was incredible, and the boat-shaped top of Marina Bay Sands caught my eye from afar. The ArtScience Museum next to it, shaped like a giant lotus, was super photogenic~ When passing by the Supreme Court and the historic Cavenagh Bridge, the tour guide would share interesting anecdotes, which was much more engaging than just wandering around on my own! In the afternoon, we rushed to Resorts World Sentosa and only reluctantly left in the evening. The Bak Kut Teh for dinner was so delicious I stomped my feet; the pork ribs were stewed until tender, and I could eat two bowls with rice! The four-star hotel we stayed in was super clean; I collapsed from exhaustion and fell asleep instantly~
Day 2: Off to Malacca! In the morning, we passed by Gardens by the Bay; the Supertrees looked like something out of a sci-fi movie from a distance! Customs clearance was super smooth. Once in Malacca, we were immediately immersed in historical sites—Sam Po Kong Hill and Sam Po Kong Temple were full of stories. The red walls of the Stadthuys were perfect for retro photos. Walking to St. Paul's Church and A Famosa (Portuguese Fortress), watching the sunset with the breeze was amazing! The Hainanese Chicken Rice for lunch had tender skin and meat, and the Nyonya cuisine for dinner, with its sweet and sour flavors, perfectly suited my taste. The four-star hotel was super close to Jonker Street, so we could even sneak out to buy souvenirs in the evening~
Day 3: Off to Kuala Lumpur! The Putra Mosque (Pink Mosque) was so beautiful it left me speechless! Remember to wear long sleeves and pants~ Viewing the Prime Minister's Office and Putrajaya Square from afar offered a very ceremonial photo opportunity. The colorful steps of Batu Caves were super photogenic, and climbing them gave a great sense of accomplishment! The highlight was Genting Highlands! The 3.38-kilometer cable car ride was super thrilling, and the wind at an altitude of 1700 meters was super cool—definitely bring a jacket! We stayed in an international five-star hotel that night; the bed was so soft I didn't want to get up, and the creamy prawns for dinner were so fragrant I licked the plate clean!
Day 4: The Kuala Lumpur city tour didn't disappoint either! The yellow architecture of the Istana Negara (National Palace) looked very grand from afar, and the exhibits in the National Art Gallery were very unique. The Petronas Twin Towers are a must-visit! They are stunning from a distance, and you don't even need to find the right angle for photos. The green lawn and red clock tower of Merdeka Square were a perfect match, making for great photos when the afternoon sun was good~ For lunch, we had hotpot until we were completely satisfied. Who understands the joy of eating hotpot abroad!
Day 5: Before heading back, we rushed to Kwai Chai Hong and Lot 10 Hutong! Chinatown was bustling with life, and Lot 10 Hutong had so many delicious foods I was spoiled for choice—satay, char kway teow, teh tarik, all arranged, and even self-catering was super cost-effective!
Throughout the trip, I didn't have to plan the itinerary, book hotels, or find restaurants myself. The tour guide was excellent at managing time, so we had a blast without getting tired! It's perfect for both girlfriend trips and family trips~ Lazy people who want to visit Singapore and Malaysia, just copy this itinerary! Message me if you want to know the tour details, to share this joy with you all~
