Niigata Prefectural Ogata Water and Forest Park is a vast prefectural natural park surrounded by two large ponds (Unoike and Asahi Pond) in Ogata Ward, Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture.

It consists of 7 zones that take advantage of nature, and you can enjoy a wide range of things from children's playgrounds to adults' walks.
Main attractions and facilities
Very popular "Holiday Square Zone": There is a large lawn square with a fountain, and it is an area where small children can enjoy water play and picnics to their heart's content. Fountains are usually open from late April to late October (10:00-16:30).
