Krystal Urban Cancun & Beach Club Reviews

The hotel is similar to a three star hotel but is very economical for the prices it offers. Best part was the morning breakfast buffet. They have a cook who carefully prepares omeletes and quesadillas, definitely recommend the chicken chipotle quesadillas. Buffet may not be included so you may want to double check to be sure. The living quarters were basic as well. You will have a security box, closet, small tv. They commonly clean every morning, if you don't want it to be clean you can place the do not disturb packard. Everything in the room is white, you will have a decent view of the buildings around, but the view is relaxing. Btw, it's advised to secure your belongings if you have a suitcase, this logic would apply any hotel you go to, better safe then sorry. Staff were very nice, everyone within the buffet mostly speak perfect english, but the cleaning ladies were not able to. Just something to be aware of. *** If you love starbucks, they have one at the entrance. They can't make a Barbie Frappuccino but they have most drinks similar to the aiports. I did not go to the pool of gym due to frequent travel to Xcaret. This is a hotel morentowards those who do travel versus the cost of an all inclusive. Overall, this hotel is budget friendly and the concierge/staff were very kind. Defintely worth the considering. FYI, you want to run the water for a little to get it hot. Its more between hot and warm, they could update the shower heads. Bht they give you plenty of towels they have a blowdryer aswell. Also, outlets may be an issue in the single rooms, the family rooms are well equiped. Close to the airport aswell, the drive is around 10 minutes.

If needed to be honest I would say check if there’s a better place for the price might be planning to pay for Krystal. I believe there’s more choice out there if only you’re not in high season

I was mistaken about the location and thought I was booking the Krystal Cancun hotel which is located a few miles away in the beach. However the Krystal Urban is a sister hotel and had a free round trip shuttle to take guests over and let them stay all day enjoying the beach and pools. The room service was very friendly and prompt. The breakfast buffet was good, however we felt invisible because the waitstaff completely ignored us if we asked for coffee. We finally asked the manager and he acted completely bothered. Don’t even bother to ask for cream either cause you will never get it. The dinner menu prices we very reasonable but 3 nights in a row they didn’t have the ravioli nor the brownie with ice cream. The chicken soup, spaghetti and especially the lemon cake were delicious !!! The pool is super small. The picture makes it look larger. The staff was very friendly at the front desk, room service and the Starbucks.

I waited over 2 hours to be checked in only to be given a room that was occupied , the service at the Krystal was pathetic and professional the staff could hardly communicate in English , the hotel room I asked for was meant to be a smoke free room yet smelled bad , I would never recommend this hotel

When I asked about the hotel room, I saw shabby furniture, a smell from the corridor carpet, the room also had a bad smell, and the mattress was very dirty, the sheets were fluffy and unclean, there was no refrigerator, microwave, and almost nothing. There is only one bathroom, two beds and a table. The front desk receptionist had a bad attitude and zero customer service. If you don’t book the pick-up and drop-off itinerary to this hotel, some of the itineraries you order again are already full. If you can't make a reservation and you are too tired after flying for nearly 30 hours, you really don't want to spend a day. Bad, bad, bad! It’s hard to describe in one word!

The very nice hotel, a beautiful view, cozy, excellent attention.

I completed the ******* survey after checking in. ******* reached out to the GM to let them know I hadn’t received my vip access until I received a call from a staff member informing of it. Which I appreciated. However, room the towels are old and dingy. If you don’t have a car you have limited access to get to the beach club via their shuttle drops off early morning and 1 pick up in the evening. Encountered 1 gentleman at the front desk who didn’t have any patience so another person graciously helped me. All other staff were great! Last minute trip, I wouldn’t stay here again

Free transportation shuttle to Krystal Cancun at Punta Cancun. Starbucks in the hotel lobby. Chef to cook requests at breakfast buffet. Free beach/pool towels. Walking distance to major shopping center and bus stops. Walking distance to the lagoon and money changer. Helpful staff. Clean. Reasonably priced.

The Phone in room was not working and there was loud noise all night coming from the roof or some balcony a metal or a outdoor piece of furniture banging all night with the wind, the towels look old and gray. Everything else was ok.

During one of my walks my phone got snatched not on the property, but somewhere downtown. I came back hoping the hotel would let me call home to get help in locating my phone or to report it stolen on findmy app. They told me it was not their responsibility, and they could not help me. I went for help on the streets and found someone caring enough to let me use their personal phone for a fee. Losing the phone ****** but i got another one the next day, but you would think that a hotel that i stayed at for three weeks would at least help someone who needed it especially not being from the country.

The beds are not comfortable My back has been hurting since. Everything else is great! Please change those horrible beds!

I enjoyed the view from our 11th floor balcony! And the buffet breakfast was very good! And the swimming pool was refreshing. The hotel also provides a pass to another Krystal hotel in the hotel zone area! The hotel is located in the center of fun!
