The first five hours after arriving in Lhasa, there was no high fever. Thinking about it, the high fever was just like that. When the high fever came after five hours, it was very uncomfortable. The hotel has convenient transportation, the Bu Palace and Jokhang Temple are nearby, and the lively streets are downstairs. There is floor heating and oxygen supply, no smell, and fruits are delivered every day. Once again, the service is very good. Xiao Zhuo, Dan Cheng, Qu Zhen, and Xiao An, whatever is missing will be made up for. This is a must-stay hotel every year. It is very convenient to travel, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service staff are warm and friendly. When parking in a controlled area, all you need to do is say hello to the police officer at the door and say you are staying at the Thangka Hotel.

We stayed at the Shangri-la after a week of being in Tibet. It was a nice change from the more Chinese style hotels we had stayed in and was ideal for the night before our flight out. The rooms are great and we booked one with a bath. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast buffet was, by Chinese standards, decent for western options and the evening buffer was good for approx 200rmb/person if you're in need of more western options. The big plus for me was the gym. Decent by most hotel standards and had a good mix of resistance machines, cardio and free weights (mainly dumbbells of up to 20kg plus a pair of 27.5kg). The only thing missing from the gym really is a squat rack but otherwise very good. Would stay again.

This hotel is really suitable for self-driving travel! This is my third trip to Tibet alone. I actually have no clear travel plan. I just want to find a hotel in Lhasa where I can sleep comfortably. I have stayed at their Potala Palace View Hotel before, and this time I want to try their self-driving hotel to prepare for future self-driving trips. What attracted me the most was the breakfast service in this hotel, which was served until 1pm, which was the main reason why I chose them. Because when I came to Lhasa this time, I just wanted to celebrate the New Year here alone and enjoy a leisurely life. Choosing a good hotel is so important. I hope that I can wake up naturally every day and have delicious food waiting for me when I wake up. I made up my mind to stay for five nights, and it turned out that my choice was right. As soon as I entered the room, the waiter told me that I could drink as much as I wanted from the drinks in the refrigerator. If there was not enough, they would add more for free. I basically slept until noon before having breakfast, then went back to the room to tidy up, and then went to the old town to hang out in the sun. It was so pleasant! What surprised me even more was that the hotel also sent fruits, snacks and dried fruit platters in the evening, which was so thoughtful! The environment of the hotel is also very good. I won't go into details about the other details one by one. All in all, I am very satisfied with this stay!

I stayed at InterContinental again after three and a half years, and I feel that both the service and the quality of catering have improved a lot. The old Tibetan-style hotels, standard Samsung hotels, doors and windows and other facilities are somewhat outdated, and some iron stairs will be installed in the later expansion, and the hardware generally meets the Samsung standard. There is no elevator. The service is very good, the waiters are warm and polite, and take the initiative to help carry luggage upstairs. There are not too many parking spaces, and the car keys are handed over to the security guards who will park and move the car without passengers worrying about it. The location is very good, I will choose next time I come to Lhasa.
